Rock made the sword spin with a twist of the wrist and stepped beside Scott. "Even electricity won't be enough. This thing is centuries old and has quite the stamina." Rock replied. As the sword spun, the runes on it slowly started to glow, the ones near the hilt glowed first and it crept up the blade. "Both of us should give it our all. It will have higher chances of ending this beast. Or at least, repel it. Worry not for me, I am wearing rubber." He chuckled at the last statement, though he was still completely shrouded by his cloak and all was seen from his dark shadowy appearance was his eyes, glowing slightly under the shade of his cloak and hood.

Kira was taken back slightly by the hug before stepping back in time to avoid a tentacle that came down between her and Scott, she looked up to the beast and then to the 4 others fightingg the squid and after moving out of the way of yet another tentacle, she turned her attention towards Zackory, Rano and Eva "Why bother with the beast when we could just take out its controller, why isnt Zackory fighting her? all he's doing is talking!"

Rikka looked to Kira as she started shouting about something before looking to Zackory and realizing she was right. "actually, he hasnt done much more than draw his sword only to drop it to the floor.......Whats he planning?"

The squid roared as Sophie's cannons hit it again. It went after the ship and tried to destroy it.

Sophie sighed and pressed a button. "Bye dad." she said as the ship suddenly blew up in the squid's tentacles. It shreaked and roared before finally running away for it's life.

Eva looked up at Zackory and he could see how tired her was from the years without sleep. He could also see she was yearning for something. "S-She's-" she was stopped short as the sound of flesh being torn was heard. She slowly looked down as one of the many swords from Sophie's ship had flown from the explosion and went through her stomach. She looked at Zackory with a scared look before falling to her side.

Eva was shaking as blood dripped onto the sand below her. "Y-You would a-always say that..." she said. She then pointed towards the north. "M-Molly...i-in my cabin...I-I'm s-sorry." she said as she cried and looked at him. "I-I j-just wanted t-t-to feel l-loved too..." she said softly as she started to black out and her pulse was fading.

Sophie looked at the dying Eva and she was conflicted. She thought she deserved to die but she also felt sorry for her and wanted to help her.

Lilly saw Eva get stabbed and gasped. "Sh-Should we help her?" she asked Rock.

Zackory shook his head to Scott "Sorry, but i cant put the weight of this burden on you or anyone else, my doctor is more than capable." He then looked to Rano before handing Eva over to him and getting to his feet "take her to the Sea-Witch, the ships doctor may not be able to help much, but he might be able to keep her alive intill we get some real help." He turned and began to walk towards the cabin Eva had pointed out, stoping as he walked past Sophie "ya destroyed ya own ship while trying to help me, the least i can do is offer you a temporary home, the Sea-Witch is big enough to house you and your crew aswell as my own."

Rano took Eva and watched Zackory walk away before looking down to her "uh.....guess i should get going then."

Rano grinned as he made his way towards one of the row boats "it's fine, i mean, no point going to a fight exspecting not to get hurt." He stopped as Eva went limp in his arms and he frowned slightly "guess i better move quicker...." He started to move faster, finally reaching a boat and climbing in after placing Eva gently down.

Zackory nodded to Sophie before making the short jurney to the cabin, stopping outside the door and calling in "Molly? are you in there?"

Zackory looked down to Molly and smiling before crouching down infront of her "ya want to go home?"

Rano started to row the small boat towards the Sea-Witch, reaching it after several moments, pulling up close to the ship and houisting the boat up onto the ship with the winch one of the crw had lowered down to him. "your gunna be ok Eva, the doctor will know what to do, and if that fails, that man from the silver laurel said he had a way to help." He carefuly lifted Eva from the boat and started to carry her below deck towards the doctors quaters of the ship.
