Dragging his feet along the route, Four's tattered priest robes would have certainly been destroyed long ago had he not assumed his Clan's regular Douka form. His journey had been long and hard, having taken extra time to track down every last shred of Kurama's ambient chakra from the village's prior outbreak long ago, and yet, it was only now that he managed to return to Konoha. "How irritable," he grumbled, saying a few words of apology under his breath, to atone for the outburst. The great wall of the Leaf Village was now high overhead, with an exceedingly long line flowing up to a check point.
An hour into the line, and Four was beginning to feel woozy. Walking and cleaning non-stop for such a lengthy time, followed by standing still, combined to cause fatigue unlike any he had previously encountered. "This.... this is bad," he commented to the folks in front of him. Having felt the off-aura around Four's blue, glowing form when he first arrived in line, the folks in front of him--and those behind him--kept a wide berth. Swaying front to back as the day wore on, the fatigue passed over him as an ocean does to its beach. Falling forward, the priest fell to the ground.

A soft, moon shaped sickle scooped Four up from the ground, supporting his weight as a young, one-eyed woman shimmered in the air. "The hunt isn't over yet, Mamoru. Back on your feet," she encouraged, teasing a poofy, out of place hair. "Mayari-san? I must have been really out of it to call you here," Four replied groggily, reaching up over the moon scythe to stifle a yawn. Putting some effort into keeping himself upright, and paying no mind or attention to the sudden awe from those around the duo, Four brushed off the light coating of dirt. "You were very busy for a great number of years, Garandoukage. I watched you work ceaselessly during the night, you know." The priest nodded a solemn 'yes' to this, as Mayari went transparent, floating off to take a look at those in line.

Mayari waved goodbye as Four shifted his head towards her, a mutual understanding of the situation having changed. Bringing his head back down to face the shinobi, Four reached out to touch their hands, trying his awful darndest to not suck away their very life upon doing so. High overhead, Mayari's transparent form grew ever thinner, thinner, and thinner still, until her existence had returned to the stars. [to the.... Homages Office? XD]
Arriving at the gates Atsuko could feel that something was very wrong. He had spotted a nearby forest fire, there were noises from within of dieing, shards of glass could be spotted partially here and there. Their timing couldn't have been worse from the looks of it, s**t.
The pair wouldn't be hiding themselves, Atsuko kept in front a bit of ways but he kept his hands at his side and showed no signs of aggression. If there were any guards he'd give them recognition and a slight show of sympathy.
"My name is Ryu, this is Tsu. We were hoping to gain access to Konoha through negotiations as I have business at the Uchiha base but it seems you are in distress. Is there anything we can do to help?" It is the heart, that defines a S A M U R A I...
There was an ill feeling in Tsubame's guts the moment they came within the site of the mighty gates that stood before the Leaf Village. Dark plumes of smoke plagued the skies above, as part of a forest ablaze with a raging fire. Before them laid shards of glass of varying sizes, some embedded into the structures of buildings, and a few stained with blood. What's going on here...? Tsu's eyes were filled with sorrow at such a devastating sight, and the sounds of the dying, the mourning, and those in pure agony did nothing to help sooth that feeling. She was hoping this trip would be something to remember; visiting one of the Shinobi villages for the first time. This... all of this, was something she wanted to forget. There were people here who needed help, and the drive to help them was the only thing that drowned her feelings of sorrow and sympathy. Tsubame stood silently behind Dragon with her hands peacefully at her side. Her sword was in plain sight an sheathed. Introduced by her companion, she'd bow respectfully to the guards, awaiting their response.

The guards would wave the pair in, seeing that they weren't going to cause trouble. ((Permission given by Kage in discord to enter)) Atsuko was rather surprised by this but he wouldn't argue. All that meant to him was when konoha wasn't under some sort of attack he could actually come and talk to them without worrying about getting kidnapped. A-rank winds
An unnatural tingling swept through the entrance on its way from the center of the village to the outside. It began as a mere brush of low wind, with hardly any sound, but quickly picked up in sound. Soon, the breeze was roaring, flowing with hurricane strength gales, and picking both friend and foe alike up off the ground just far enough to loftily fling them. Rather than the previous burst of energetic death that shattered all of the glass in the village, this one merely wished for those along the main route, and in the entrance, to be pushed out. It was as if whatever or whomever had caused the previous incident was now currently satiated, and willing to stall for time. The situation had changed again.
Sliding across the dirt as if it were ice. Houou came to a screeching hault at the gates. Momentarily he had fogotten the warning that Atsuko gave in their last bit of conversation. This village was in chaos and worry consumed him. He could only pray the his comrades were ok. But this massive wind would prove troublesome.
“ii don’t think my communicator will work in this wind storm, I’ve got to get inside.”
With all of the powerful wind being emitted, Houou had no chance of crossing through the gates of Konohagakure without severely injuring himself in the process. Fear gripped houou as he contemplated the danger Atsuko and Tsu were in. There must be something terrible afoot, if one of the founding villages was in this much turmoil.
Thinking quickly on his feet houou faced forward and formed three hand seals and clapped his hands together. Suddenly the rumbling of the earth beneath his feet began to get louder and louder. A trail of dirt began to raise to the surface and shot forward, as if Bugs bunny were traveling underground. Houou stood there and remains focused as the mound of dirt disappeared into the dust cloud being kicked up by the wind. Houou had never been to this village so he knew not where this tunnel would pop up, but there was no time to think about that. Houou waited a good forty seconds before stopped the roots from tunneling underground and made them erupt on the other end. To his feet, a large spike erupted from the ground, then peeled apart like a banana. In its wake was a small dark hole. Big enough for houou to, uncomfortably walk along in order to avoid the firce winds above. Houou leapt into the hole without a second though and be an his hurried advance towards the end of the tunnel. There was no light at all but Houou had his roots to hold himself steady. What awaited the young shinobi at the other end of this tunnel...

Cut off, the winds ceased, quieting their activity. Silence replaced its wake, leaving the blown and the wounded to fend for themselves. It was if a great upheaval had entered, and then seemingly exited at will.
The unfamiliar group was back to the gates sometime after they had left. Group wise it consisted of three members, Atsuko Houou and Tsu. Business had been finished at the compound and now Atsuko was keen to leave but not before he'd see if there were any guards around to talk to. It looked like there had been even more chaos since he had last left. "Hello? Are you guys okay?" The winds that prevented Houou from entering through the gates had mysteriously stopped. He was extremely curious as to what had been occurring in Konohagakure as of late. The number of corpses that cluttered the streets put houou on edge. He had never seen destruction the likes of this before. Houou never dropped his guard, constantly surveying the area, keeping his eye out for any individuals that would approached them from either side of the village gates. Their group had no idea of the current situation, or even if the enemy was still afoot.
“I don’t like the looks of this place Ryu. There were vicious winds here not long ago, forcing me to create my own entrance into the village.”
Houou said gesturing to the underground tunnel that he created using his Mokuton jutsu.
“This village has either staved off their attacker or they have fallen. This village is famed as one of the most powerful villages, so I would doubt that they fell so easily, but we can’t let out guard down.”
Houou continued to survey the area with extreme vigilance, even while speaking to Atsuko. He had high expectations for the hokage and the surviving leaf ninja.
