Back topside, Dave was struggling to protect the Munna. He had already been kicked and knocked all over the place as the grunt continued to assault him. "Dude, why are you doing this?" Dave kept his arms tightly around the Munna, prioritizing it's safety over his own as he stumbled backward
Meanwhile, Goliath was currently poisoned, and had already taken a beating of his own. His Low Kicks and Sweeps had not been very effective due to the constant stockpiling of his opponent, and his DynamicPunches kept missing. He Bulked Up again as his Guts kicked in, strengthening him. [You're pretty tough.....but you're in my way] Goliath knew he had to turn the tables quickly, wincing from the pain of the poison as he glanced toward David. He went in for another DynamicPunch. If it connected, he would follow up with a Cross Chop; if it failed, this time he would take the full force of his opponent's attack, then follow up with Revenge.

It seems like everyone was falling underground these days. After getting over the initial surprise of having a roof collapse on her, Sal coughed into her arm. The debris had made dust fly around everywhere, and she wasn't exactly in the best of shape after falling into the garbage disposal.
The grunt that stood before her was just as confused as she was, but she needed to look past it. She recognized his uniform as the same one that the Team Plasma grunts in Accumula Town were wearing. So he's Team Plasma? Friend to all pokemon, right? Maybe he can help me get to the center, even if his uniform is kinda lame.
"I'm trying to get out of here," she said while pointing her pokeball at Salem. The Eevee had big X's for eyes. "My pokemon is down for the count, and I have to get her to the pokemon center. I have had a really weird day so far, you wouldn't believe it."
The Battle Girl returned her pokemon and then walked over to the debris that had separated her and Wayne. "Wayne! Are you okay over there? Wayne?!"
She doubted that her voice could be heard clearly through the crash. Looking up, she noticed that she was still a small amount of space separating the underground ceiling and debris. If she could climb up there, she may be small enough to fit through. At least that would get her back to Wayne.
"So? Think you can help me over?" she asked the grunt while folding her arms and tapping her foot. "I'm gonna need a boost up there," Salieri informed, pointing up at the possible passing. "I don't know about you, but I'm looking to leave."

One need not fear. People had tough battles ahead of them, especially Robert. But that was all in the past now, for the strongest had arrived!
The woman stood triumphantly, left hand on her hip, Drifloon on her right hand mimicking the motion with his right heart-hand.
"The Dream Yard sure looks different than I remember," she said.
"That's because this is Pinwheel forest," came a voice from behind and the woman, no probably the young woman, or teenager, turned around.
"Wh-what!? But I followed the map!" she shouted as she waved the map in her left hand.
"I'm sorry, but it's true, this is pinwheel forest," said the man.
"Dammit, I'm so fired," the young lady said as she sighed, slouched and walked off. If she tried to head there now, she'd arrive too late to save the day.

(Sorry for a weak post. I just got home from work, and I am beat >.<) Troperopius "Oh my, the poor things," spoke the man in robes as he pulled a device from his robes that began to pull in the Dream Mist. He set it down and started toward the Musharna. "Ah, I shall say a prayer for you," he said. Robert waited until the man was within range before he made his move. From his prone position, he'd lunge upwards and forwards, thrusting strong strikes of his own, aiming specifically for the man's pressure points beginning with the armpit areas. "Say one for yourSELF!" Robert said as he followed through to the finish of his combo attacks with a Roundhouse at the man's head. "Freya, use Psychic on his Pokemon! Beatrix, use Reflect! Garnet, Bulk Up and get ready!" Robert called out as he took up a defensive martial arts pose. "I don't know who you are, but these Pokemon have suffered enough from people like you. I will be your opponent." he challenged. Robert's Lucario let loose at the Meinshao with a blast of Psychic energy, as strong as she could create. Beatrix shielded her allies with a box-like barrier surrounding each of them, while Garnet began increasing her attack and defense.

(sorry for any spelling mistakes, im typing on a comp with no spell check and my spelling is terrible)
Needless to say Iron hide was hardly effected by the thunder wave, being of rock and steel type Electric would have hardly any effect, but he wasn't ground and thus not completly immune to its 'effects' such as paralysis. the attack from the purrloin was hardly effective, aside from the come and go Paralysis so considering he was still at point blank range Iron Hides 'rock head' attack would most certainly land its mark.
on to Takamaru, the Silver haired youth stood there with a blank look on his face as the grunt neared him. He was no stranger to conflict, what with being picked on at school for being Rather short, which later led to his home schooling. so he let the oddly dressed person near him until he acted. and with that the small boy barrel rolled to the grunts left, compleatly avoiding her. after coming full round to his feet he clicked his heels together letting his in-line blades from there sockets in his tennis shoes. with his Roller blades out he was easily able to skate his way back towards the direction the grunt came from, as well as the hole that Spike had Dug, being reunited with his pokemon he now had a way of defense.
"Ne ne. come on. there are other people whom need my help, so cant you just let me defeat you already?" asked Tk in the most annoyingly mocking tone he could muster.

Though his leg was caught, Saden quickly manuevered the rest of his body under the leader and then behind him. He quickly yanked his caught foot downwards and pushed the body forward as well. He quickly yanksed his leg out of the man's grip and got it out of the falling range. IF the attack worked, the man would fall over. After all, the bigger they are the harder they fall.
Xavier smirked as he jumped into the air. The pokemon began to glide across the air, very unusual for its species. He swifly began to approach the trubbish, and hit him with the always-accurate aerial ace attack. Then after he landed next to the trubbish, he quickly launcvhed an ice punch before retreating back once more. He smirked, this hit and run tactic suited him well.
Santa watched as the scraggy hit it back again. She had just enough time to hit it back with her bag of presents. Then, she swiftly fklew in a sideways arc around the ball and scraggy. The bird would hit him from behind around the same time a the iron ball. The scraggy would have to choose which strike he would take, as both attacks would do great damage. (Sorry for the autohit, but aerial ace never misses so I thought it would be fine. If not, then just pretend I didn't autohit it.)

((Well I'm fully caught up. That took forever gonk ))
Wayne's current status: Solosis - Untrained Petilil - Unconscious Hitmonlee - Disobedient
The trainer barely managed to get to safety in time. He was covered in dirt and dust, which caked his hair and skin a pasty grey-brown colour. Wayne coughed, wheezing as he recovered from a momentary lapse of consciousness. His ears were ringing and he spluttered, shaking his head as he slowly pushed back onto his feet.
Wayne's current status: Barely conscious Barely breathing Hungry
"What are you doing here?!"
The first thing Wayne heard other than the high pitch whistling sound that now lived in his ears was shout of some stranger. It was way more casual than it should've been given that Wayne had nearly been blown the ******** up, but that may have been his survivor's bias.
Looking in the direction of the voice, Wayne spied Chuck's silhouette masked within dust clouds and the waning daylight that streamed from behind him.
God? Is that you? No wait, god isn't ginger.
"Who..." Wayne coughed, a bit of dirt mixed in with blood splurting from his mouth and onto the floor, "Who are you?"

Nacrene City - Luka's hometown. It was good to be home in the suburban styled city. Nacrene just had a way of making you feel at home. The place looked gorgeous and there were enough people to make sure that you were never bored but there weren't so many people that the place could feel threatening and claustrophobic.
It was dark enough now that the city was lit up and it really did make the city seem romantic. A friendly buzz filled the streets and Luka breathed in the beauty of his hometown.
First stop was home. It was right next to the museum and the gym, so Luka had always had teaching from Lenora. He reached it and the same Cheshire Skitty-like grin spread across his face. He was home, at least for a little while.

((Sorry for the wait! Er, Robert, Saden and TK, I'm currently waiting on Artemis for D-Vee and Eunmi's posts but Artemis is out of state at the moment so it'll be a short wait. Sorry.
Also, David, I'm not sure what just happened but I'll roll with it. Er, for the most part try not to fast forward battles unless it's agreed upon by all parties.))
The battle had moved forward! David had the disadvantage of holding a Pokemon and Machamp had ended up poisoned. For the most part, things seemed grim for the duo who had just survived the Pokemon Center fire.
A Dynamic Punch would be an ideal move, however landing one would prove difficult. Garbodor was well aware of the effects if he was hit so he was intent on dodging at least that blow. So, as the punch came he'd jump backward and his head would turn to the side as he saw the oncoming attack.
Psybeam exploded as it hit! Avan and Baku making their arrival on the battlefield in the nick of time! As the explosion cleared it was clear, however, that their beam went to waste. Standing at the side of the Garbodor was a Liepard.
"Just in time!" said a new voice, the announcement of arrival for the grunt who had previously gone downstairs to check on her allies. You see, she'd forgotten her water so she'd come back up but now was the scene before her, her partner being attacked by two others!
Garbodor didn't waste a single second. You see, he had a technique of his own to turn the battlefield. Even if Machamp came with Revenge it would have to get around Garbodor's attack, Psychic.
As for Liepard? She sprung into action per her mistress' command, heading straight, no rather, Pursuing Baku and going straight in for the hit.
As for the armored grunt who had made a game of pounding away at David? He was done with the small shots. Popping his neck he stepped in once more, this time with a powerful shot toward David's face as one leg positioned itself with the landing step to move behind David's leg and force the man to trip should the attack land.
***
MEANWHILE, SALIERI AND WAYNE HAD RECOVERED from the collapsing debris and were now before the two Plasma Grunts. Wayne uneasy and Salieri trustworthy.
Bill had himself quite the easy prey. A girl who had a tired Pokemon and she herself looked like s**t. He smiled and said, "sure, I can help you out." He stepped over to the debris, behind Salieri, or in front if she was facing him, and he glanced up at the top. A small opening, so she wouldn't be able to reach her friend.
"That's a bit high, why not go through?" he asked. Now, one could be mean to a wretched human, hit them with a steel clad fist. But that wasn't even remotely fun -er- punishment enough for Pokemon slave drivers. At point blank range the Plasma Grunt released Watchog who went in for the basic tackle, aiming to slam Salieri herself into the debris.
As for Wayne... Before the theatrics of battle took place on the other side...
"Just your friendly neighborhood medieval reenactment enthusiast," said Chuck as he approached. The Ginger haired Plasma Grunt approached Wayne in the darkness and sighed. Someone was on the other side with Bill? Then he had to act fast.
"Look, kid, no hard feelings but I'm going to have to ask you to leave, without those," he said and he pointed toward Wayne's balls bulging through his pants.
((Robert, TK, Saden, if you guys, while you wait, wanna send me a PM if you have any ideas, we can discuss plotty stuff and that way you aren't just battling but you get some more plottycharacterdevelopmentalplotintegrationstuff going on. Otherwise we can just wing it like we would be.))

Wayne's eyes were heavy, squinting, but he managed a blink. "What do you want with my pants?" he asked, the slight high whine to his voice because of mild panic.
But then when the pants burglar stopped being a silhouette with a ginger streak, Wayne's disposition changed a bit. Well, a lot.
Plasma. He'd recognise that stupid outfit anywhere.
"Stop right there," the trainer growled, taking a step back, sliding his hand into his pocket to grab one of his balls, "One more move and I swear I will ******** you up!"

"Kid, don't make this difficult on yourself," sighed Chuck. He grabbed his own Pokeball and pointed to the debris behind Wayne. "You're already cornered and, from the looks of you, you're not up to a battle. Easy way or hard way, kid, I'm getting those balls," said chuck as a piece of ceiling from the previous collapse, a tiny piece, fell and hit his head, causing no damage and not visible due to the lack of light but it caused his right eye to blink out of reflex.

I need an adult? Oh god, he is an adult.
But as soon as Chuck winked or blinked or whatever, Wayne rushed forward. His legs may have felt like lead but at this point the trainer didn't even notice. Plasma had ******** him over in the past and now it was payback, even if it was against some random grunt.
Solosis was the only pokémon capable of combat who would follow Wayne's instructions. He couldn't trust Hitmonlee not to use Earthquake and collapse the Dreamyard; as far as Wayne knew, only Salieri and he were underground, so he couldn't chance things for her sake at the very least. The psychic type materialised in a flash of light.
Hopefully the debris that made Chuck blink would distract him for the split second it took for Wayne to make his move. Solosis sprang forward and Wayne commanded "Telekinesis!"
Thanks to his weight training in the gym, Solosis had learned how to lift heavy objects. Telekinesis was a technique that forced the target into levitation, so Chuck would be lifted from whatever he stood on and suspended in the air, susceptible to attacks. That is assuming he didn't manage to dodge out of the way of the fast-moving purple wave of light that shot from the pokémon.
With Wayne's burning spirit reaching his pokémon, Solosis was now capable of lifting something as heavy as Chuck. He'd tested the move on Basculin earlier, so he could at least handle something flailing about. Regardless of whether or not Chuck was suspended in the air, Wayne would angrily command a "Psywave!" directed at the grunt.
Psychic damage would bypass the Plasma's armour. If Chuck fell to Telekinesis then he'd be a much easier target. If he managed to dodge then Solosis would take a second to assess his location and launch his Psywave, making sure to be as accurate as possible.

Haha, not so fast! Or actually, it was. Chuck was in the air, but not so easily suspended. He'd managed to tap the ball's button to release his Pokemon. Then he flailed around like some useless dude in armor.
"Not cool, kid!" he shouted as Krokorok tanked the psywave.
And then the enemy Pokemon landed and looked upon Solosis and said, [man, I sure am glad I'm not a complete ******** f*****t like you,] and that was the Taunt. Though it was more than just words, a sort of psuedo-psychological effect or whatever BS one wanted to throw out there. Either way, Taunt, yeah.

Fa- how did he know that?! Either way, Solosis was pissed.
"Back off! Light Screen!" Wayne commanded; he'd been training Solosis to utilise shields to bounce around the area to make up for his poor speed. But when no shields appeared, he began to worry.
What.
Solosis was ignoring him now too, launching Psywave after Psywave at Krokorok, each one just splashing off the dark type ineffectually. Wayne's face went white.
[Flashback]
"See, pokémon are just animals," Dad said, leading young Wayne down the cobbled path of Village Bridge, "If they don't respect you, they'll just do whatever they want."
"So? How do you make pokémon respect you then?" Wayne asked, lagging slightly behind his adoptive father, eyeing the pokéballs hanging from back of the man's belt. They contained some of the most powerful pokémon he'd ever seen.
His dad shrugged. "I dunno. Display of power? Just show them who's boss and they'll listen to you. Like, err. Yeah, here we are."
They reached a house built at the end of the bridge. Dad banged the door and put his hands in his pockets while he waited. It eventually unbolted and a nervous-looking man peered out. He wasn't weedy or weak or anything. This dude looked like a bear. Still, he looked terrified at the sight of Wayne's father.
"Hey, I wanna borrow your Machamp again."
"Oh, Mister-- err... Machamp is still recovering from last time, he- he gets night terrors, err. Sir."
"Relax, it'll only take a minute. You're not holding out on me, are you?"
"N-no sir. Of course not."
The door closed for a second and Wayne heard additional locks being unchained and unbuckled before the door finally opened fully. A quivering Machamp stepped out of the door slowly, seemingly stricken with fear. It jumped out of its skin as the front door slammed shut behind it.
It was just Wayne, his father and Machamp.
"Alright, see this guy?" Dad waved his hand towards Machamp, who cowered, "this used to be the pokémon boxing champion of Johto. Won five titles, crippled sixteen opponents in a single round each, ruined their careers. Watch this."
He turned to the Machamp, "Crawl on the floor like a little b***h."
Wayne was amazed. The giant hulking chunk of clumsy-looking muscle got down on its hands and hands and knees and started taking tiny steps about, moving in slow circles. "Faster." and Machamp sped up, its face streaming horrid tears.
"Ouch," Wayne said with his hands behind his head, "You okay, Machamp?"
The fight type was quiet until Dad pulled it to its feet again, at which point it made a high pitched yelp of fright.
"Okay, so how did I get this thing to do whatever I told it to? Show of force. Fastest, easiest way to do that is to take your hand, ball it up, pull it back and-"
[End Flashback]
"EAT THIS ********!" Wayne roared, swinging a strong right at Krokorok's jaw, aiming to stagger it sideways and shock Solosis right out of the Taunt.
