- Any length of mane/tail is completely fine, they can even be bald

L e r i l y e has my permission to request certain traits from the parents (if more control is offered as in customs), to ask for a Semi- or Full-CC growing child (or Adult only, which would restrict foal family interactions to plots or the OOC forum but character would still be considered to have grown naturally as a child of the pair IC), and pretty much to either design a baby to her hearts' content or to ask a colorist to have fun as she wishes.
