The response they got back was about what Xifeng had been expecting. The gate opened with entrance for only Atsuko. Crossing her arms, the pink haired woman would look at the male beside her as he pretty much told them to allow her inside. Although it seemed like they were hesitant to the idea of a plus one to Atsuko's visit, doing this right now with no real ace up the sleeve certainly was a bit risky. She moved closer to her and mumbled under her breath, "If you've got business inside of there, I'd go ahead and take it. I can just wait for you here and then we can have our fight." Xi spoke before turning back to the people at the gate, wondering how this all would go down. If a fight was bound to erupt, she certainly would do her best to let them thin the crowds. Plus, she wanted to see what exactly this young male could do. Maybe he would be a strong mate for her after all, if he did win against her.

We can meet there if it takes to long, I'm not one to break my promises after all" he said to her before letting out a short sigh.

Accepting the paper scrap with an address written on it, Xifeng would narrow her eyes as she read the name of the location in her mind. Whatever he had to do, there was obviously going to be something going on between him and the Hokage, hopefully not a trap or anything. Then again, that was just that paranoid nature of hers when wandering the trail alone. "Gotcha. I'll head there as soon as you get in. Don't keep a girl waiting, now." She teased, shoving the paper into her pocket while observing as the boy was led inside of the gates which presumably closed behind him. Spinning around on her heel, Xi would then back towards the the road and begin her way back away from the village. Things to do, people to meet and hopefully fight
Sumika bounced along next to Ichiryu, almost literally, seeming to never sit still for even the slightest of moments. It was clear she was ready to get out and about after months of being cooped up in the village. What that meant for everyone else was anyone's guess, but at the very least she seemed enthusiastic.

It was going to be the first time Nise got to leave the village ever since she joined the academy. She was pretty excited! Still, it wasn't the post dignified exit for her. Her clay pelican had landed and was waddling a little behind the other two. She'd hate to get shot out of the sky if she decided to just fly over the gate and all. Of course, this doesn't mean Nise got out of the pelican's pouch. She'd happily ride it as much as she could and might as well get used to her battle station, right? The only way she'd leave the pelican was if things really went tits up.
Poking her head out, she gave a little wave to the guards showing that she was also present and then flashed a thumbs up to the other two.

A little out of breath, but no worse for wear, Kanzaki appeared in that cute little disguise of hers, taking more care now rather than just gender bending herself and wearing the same clothes. Not gonna lie. I'm digging this skirt."You must be Kya-wan, right? I'm Yamahana Megumi. C'mon Kaoru. A short while before the reached where the Village Hidden in the Leafs was supposed to be, Karuto dismounted the crystal dragon Saiko had made to transport them. The last thing he needed was to scare the gate guards into attacking them. Instead, he walked the last couple miles on foot, enjoying the scenery. He had never seen so many trees before, and the climate was downright wonderful. He could definitely spend a lot of time here! As the gates came into view, he had to marvel at the size of them. Suna's crevice was completely open, albeit much more heavily guarded. These were LITERAL gates! He kept gawking until he was a few meters from a man who was standing post outside. Karuto stopped and gave the dude a wave in the form of a wrist waggle "Yo~" He said, grinning down at the Konoha Shinobi
The Konoha gate guards, a pair of them who wore pristine uniforms and a flak jacket, returned his greeting with a very standard response. "Name and reason for visitation." Since his approach had been so slow, the man's approach would have already been reported to central. So at this point they were more less expecting a standard interaction. Particularly because the man didn't look to be with the UHV. The gates though, remained firmly shut.
Shifting his weight, he replied to the man's standard questions "Karuto Raiken, here to see the Hokage on behalf of Kazekage Ayame" Pulling up his sleeve, he displayed the headband he wore on his upper bicep
On behalf of the Kazekage? Now that was some eyebrow raising stuff. The man at least appeared to be from Sunagakure though the informality of this visit was... less than desirable. Given the times they had to be rather careful about who was let in and who was not. "Radio it in, Lady Hokage will want to at least hear the claim and make a decision. Mr.... Karuto was it? Please wait here while we get a reply. Is there anything else you have to present either for your identity or from the Kazekage?"
Stroking his beard as he thought over the question, the giant man pondered for a moment before shaking his head "Nope! Well, besides these tattoos" He extended his arm, showing the ancient symbols from the Temple of Wind, a rather intricate piece.
