The pounding of feet could be heard from afar, and a cloud of smoke was kicked up as both Kazuki and Pan charged towards Ayaka. Pan made it there first, but had over shot the distance. She skidded to a halt, ending up 2 feet behind Ayaka. This was all the time Kazu needed in order to wrap his arms around Ayaka and spin her around in a circle before putting her on the floor. He was out of breath, sweaty, and looked exhausted. This was a testament to how hard he had been working himself lately. When he put Ayaka down, she would be able to see his large smile. Kazu was a very lithe guy, having focused more on speed then forging his body into a single muscle as a lot of taijutsu users often did. He was tall, but in no way skinny. He had on a fishermans hat, which covered his shaggy blonde hair. Kazu was light skinned and had blue eyes to boot. "How'd ya do?" He asked as he opened his hand, gesturing for the scroll. Pan, Kazuki's soul partner, slinked around Ayaka. She let her tail brush against her leg and nuzzled her head into her side. Pan was very much like Kazu. Together they pushed themselves, but also urged each other to fight on. Neither of them would settle for anything less than beyond exceptional.

XXXEyes cast down to the ground, Ayaka continued on with her playful, mindless twirling of her hair tie as she made her way out towards the academy gates. From afar she picked up on the sounds of pounding feet and curiosity getting the better of her, Ayaka glanced up just in time to see Kazuki and Pan charging towards her location. Kazuki was her cousin from her father's side and Pan was his cheetah animal companion. "Wha-" Before she could even finish, Pan had already sped past her giving Kazuki full assess to Ayaka. Kazuki's thin but strong arms found their way around her petite waist and in less then a second, Ayaka was hovering about ground being swung around in a full circle. Right had still clutching onto the scroll shot right up to where her left was balled into a fist. No matter how much time has passed or how many times Kazuki spins her, Ayaka still can't find it in her to feel completely comfortable with it. 'Was there ever a time I truly enjoyed this?' Yes, yes there was. It was back when she was still three and naive. Kazuki was placed under her parents' care for the day while his left for a mission. It was...the fourth, maybe fifth time she actually met Kazuki and remembered. He was five at the time and rather capable for his age. He lifted Ayaka up with ease and spun her around to help stop her crying after she tripped. Though little Ayaka had been scared by the sudden action, his warm gaze, bright smile, and protective grip made her feel protected and happy.
Once Kazuki set her back onto the ground, Ayaka flashed her cousin a small smile before dipping her gaze back downwards. Even now, she was still socially inapt. Due to her parents' forced seclusion, Ayaka never really got around to talking to people much and with their influence, grew into a shy, conserved flower. At his question, Aya's head snapped upward to see his bright anticipating smile and Aya couldn't help but tremble a bit before frowning. Head tilting back down, Aya saw Pan slink around her and a soft smile made its way to her face. Left hand releasing its grip on her hair tie, Ayaka brought it down to Pan's head and gave the young cheetah soft strokes across her head and neck. "Kazu-ni...I don't think you'll want to see my marks...I don't think they could match up to anything you could do..." Slinking back into her enclosed self, Aya's grip on the scroll tightened as memories of all of parents' disappointed faces and statements ran through her mind. Instead of tears, Aya just felt numbness. She hated ties but Kazuki was different...even so, Ayaka has been doing her best to keep him at a distance in order to avoid disappointing the only person she has left. 'I can't displease him...or he might abandon me like them...' Attention on Pan, Ayaka did her best to distract her thoughts by patting her cousin's partner.

XXXWhen Kazuki took the scroll from her, Ayaka put up no resistance and simply allowed for her cousin, and Pan to examine her scroll. Left hand raising back up to her hanging hair tie strap once more, its become a nasty habit for Aya. To twirl around with the silk cloth whenever she would feel nervous or uncertain of things. Sparing her cousin tentative glances, Aya frowned at the fact Kazuki had yet to show any sort of emotion on his normally cheerful face. His silence only made Aya feel worst and when he finally stood back up to his full height, Aya expected the worst. His smile, fist pump, and Pan's sweet purr were unexpected and for the first time today, Aya smiled. Her smile only seem to grow at Kazuki's words and instincts taking over for a bit, Aya flung herself at Kazuki and hugged her cousin tightly around the waist. The hug would only last for a moment though as Aya's senses kicked in and she skipped back in panic. Fingers twirling the ribbon much faster then before, Aya's gaze fell to the ground off to her right as she spoke in a nervous and very soft voice. "Sor...sorry..." Right hand fiddling with the frills of her knee length dress, Aya waited anxiously for her cousin's response.

❝Entering the academy from the Hokage's office, Eirlys made her way through the doors happily, wasting no time to procrastinate as she made her way to the section of the room that held the scrolls with all the information on her clan's Jutsu. She picked up one of them quickly and read the list of techniques that were there. The first technique was called Hatsuyuki, and it was claimed to be the basis of all, or most of the Shinsetsu's techniques. She placed the scroll aside and stood straight looking directly ahead. She concentrated on molding her chakra into something she could use, and would you believe it, snow began falling within the area around her. She kept up her keen focus and strengthened the cold air around her until she could see two white clouds forming around her. Once they were fully formed, she noticed that they were pulsing, as if they had life within them. She wasted no time testing them out, attempting to control their movements with her mind. They began to move away from her wherever she willed them to, but they never strayed too far from her even if she commanded them to. She passed it off as them simply not wanting to go too far from her and classified that technique as a success.
~Hatsuyuki [First Snow] Learned 1/1~
With not a moment to spare, Eirlys had her nose back in the scroll, perusing the long list of techniques that could be at her disposal. All she had to do was learn them. The next set of techniques were those that she could use to create snow at will. That would be a neat trick, and she couldn't wait to get started. She sent one of her Hatsuyuki to the ceiling of the academy and commanded it to split apart until it became two separate clouds. They moved around like ordinary clouds before they spread apart after splitting, covering the entire layer of the ceiling within the academy. Eirlys spent some time just staring at what she had just done. It was spectacular, and she hadn't even used the full technique yet. The clouds then began to let loose with a light drizzle of snow, those beautiful, white balls of softness. They fell lightly within the entire academy, and the temperature dropped even further than it already was. The snow was really light and Eirlys couldn't help but to begin frolicking around happily, playing in the snow that formed in layered on the ground, making it seem as if it was winter after a full night of snow. She took up a lump of snow in her hands and rolled it into a ball and threw it at the wall, watching it collide and go splat before the remnants fell to the ground and blended with the rest of the snow. But looking at the light snow, Eirlys couldn't help but wonder if maybe she could make it fall even heavier than it was now. She looked to the clouds above and willed them to get stronger, and they did just that, becoming slightly gray before their contents began to grow larger and fall to the ground even faster than before. Now it was looking like heavy snow, but the little girl seemed unperturbed by it in the least. She even laughed audibly once as she looked up and willed it to grow even more powerful than it was now. The temperature dropped and became much colder as the clouds above became dark gray, looking very much like the cumulonimbus clouds that signaled a storm. The contents that fell from the clouds were much heavier and fell at the same speed as before, but what Eirlys realized was that the winds started to pick up, pushing and pulling her all over the place. Her small build was used to the extreme cold, but the winds were very powerful and knocked her off balance and made her fall in the snow covered ground several times. At a thought from her, the heavy snow slowed down until it ceased altogether and the Hatsuyuki came back down to earth and hovered around her slowly and in a controlled manner. She touched them both gently and felt the softness between her fingers.
~Kousetsu [ Snowfall ] & Oosetsu [ Heavy Snowfall ] & Gousetsu [ Tremendous Snowfall ] Learned3/3~
After reading the scroll again, she learned that there was a sequence of techniques that she could do by simply touching her Hatsuyuki and pulsing a slight amount of her chakra into them. She wasted no time resting the palm of her hand on one of the Hatsuyuki and sending a short wave of her chakra through it into the cloud. The cloud seemed to pulse under her gentle touch and not too long after that did a snowball fly from it and hit the wall of the academy. It flew so fast that Eirlys couldn't help but describe it as the 'perfect snowball'. The tried this again and of course, the snowball flew out just as quickly and perfectly as before. She sent more chakra into the cloud this ti,me and willed it to form even more snowballs at once. The cloud did just that and a barrage of snowballs flew from it and collided against the wall indefinitely, but with light blunt force. She jumped into the air twice shouting happily. "That was so much fun! What's next?"
~Yukimari [ Snowball ] Learned 1/1~
This next technique was fairly the same as the one before, but the only difference was that if she poured more chakra into the cloud while the snowballs formed, they would grow larger and be able to deal much more blunt damage to the unlucky soul who would be her next playmate. She touched the Hatsuyuki again and sent a larger amount of her chakra into it. The snowball formed again, but this time it was the size and density of a bowling ball if not more. It moved at the same rapid speed as the smaller snowball, but when it connected with the wall, Eirlys could hear the sound that it made, like a heavy object making contact. It was music to her ears, and she tried it again. The same result as before. She didn't even try an entire barrage of it, because she knew beyond a shadow of doubt that it would work.
~Ooyukimari [ Heavy Snowball ] Learned 1/1~
The final sequence of snowball techniques seemed deadly enough on the piece of parchment, but could the same be said for it in actuality? The only way to find out would be to test it out herself, which is exactly what she did. Eirlys rested her palm flat on the Hatsuyuki and closed her eyes for a second, breathing slowly before she opened them again and looked down at the cloud. She poured her chakra into it and willed it to form into a giant snowball that she could use. The Hatsuyuki began to change form completely into a large round snowball before it shot forward rapidly and collided with the wall, denting the wall to Eirlys' surprise. She started to giggle, looking around the academy to make sure that no one had stepped in to see what she had just done. That was most definitely a useful technique, and she would be sure to keep it handy at a moment's notice.
~Koyukimari [ Great Snowball ] Learned ~1/1~
The next technique was fairly simple. Why, all she had to do was raise her hands as if telling someone to stop and her snow would simply break apart into a frigid gust of wind. Why not just do test it now. She used the single Hatsuyuki that was left, deciding that she would make only the Great Snowball this time. Once it was formed it shot forward. Eirlys quickly raised her hand in that single gesture and the ball of snow broke apart and became an imperfect gust of cold wind with snow fragments within that pelted the wall along with the force of the wind. Eirlys was sure that had the wall been someone, then they would have been knocked off their feet for sure and possibly sent flying. That was all she wrote, and Eirlys decided to move on to the next technique.
~Kake no Yuki [ Fragment of Snow ] Learned 1/1~
The next technique on the list was one that was used for subtle means, namely healing. That would be the perfect technique for her since she tended to never stay one place for too long. It was too boring according to her. She sat atop the snow covered ground and folded her legs. She moved the cloud over to her hand and and had it rest in a single spot. It was so soft and felt divine, and the finally she willed it to begin moving over her hand, and that was exactly what it did. The cloud gently caressed her hand, and it was the best medical treatment she had ever gotten. No part of her was necessarily hurt, but relieving tension was a method of healing, was it not? That was what the cloud did for her.
~Zouge Seppun [ Ivory Kiss ] Learned 1/1~
After she had received the gentle kiss from the Hatsuyuki, she got the scroll and read the next technique. It was basically a substitution technique, but much more unique. She stood from her position of comfort and remained as steady as a rock as she concentrated. That was where she remained, unmoving. From a place to the north of the academy, Eirlys came walking up to herself that stood without moving. She inspected her features and giggled before gently punching it in the face where a chilling wind passed over her before it completely vanished into mist. That was the end of that technique, and she had to admit that it was actually a good technique despite its simple use.
~Setsuzou [ Snow Sculpture ] Learned 1/1~
This was a technique that Eirlys was sure that she could use as well. It was something that she could use to add to the sheer cold, and without further adieu the little girl began to form the handsigns needed to use the technique. Once she was done with that tedious task she held a single handsign and drew in a deep breath before letting it all out. The force of the wind was so strong that she could hear it whooshing out powerfully as it hit the wall. The wall froze over as the sheer cold from the wind bombarded it. She kept this up as long as she could before she was out breath. That would be a problem in the long run. She needed to learn proper lung control or she would fail with this technique. But other than that she deemed the learning process a success and moved on to what she felt was the last technique for her bloodline that she cared to learn.
~Fuyu no Iki [ Breath of Winter ] Learned 1/1~
The final technique on her to do list. She used her remaining Hatsuyuki and began to mold it with her chakra. She then stopped and wondered who she would have it replicate. She settled for the Hokage and began once again. The snow cloud reformed into a human being, a man to be exact, and old man that stood tall and strong for his years. Eirlys inspected her work with a smile before she patted the clone on the back for coming out right. She then allowed it to dissipate. That was the last of her bloodline techniques for now, and after all of that, she felt like she wanted to learn more. She would move on to the only Ninjutsu she could ever learn.

Taka and koshi read over what they had found as far as simple things went. The basis of alot of these techniques were rather similar to the ones she had researched in the academy and the mind was the only thing that had to change to master such jutsu. As she read over them she smiled noting koshi's faint breathing as the ferret slept in her hair. She glanced at her scroll and read the descriptions committing them all to memory.
'Hekireki Koe no Jutsu Thunder Voice Technique This Genjutsu is very simple. Upon its execution, the target is made to hear the user's voice at an astoundingly amplified level. This is a Genjutsu often used by academy teachers to awaken students that fall asleep in class.
She winced as she remembered this being used on her on a few different occasions. The teachers werent even yelling at her but it made her ears hurt. She moved to the next line.
Chiru no Jutsu [ Chill Technique ]The user sends a chill down the spine of their opponent for a moment, making them temporarily feel fear. The feeling
is done before the other can realize it is Genjutsu. Usually done in
accordance with something like looking the other in the eye, it can
have various effects on the opponent's mind. 1/2 Taka paused a moment bringing to mind the casual killing intent that one could give off given the proper looks. She could apply this to the genjutsu as well and possibly even focus her chakra a little more to her eyes to achieve a subtle glow if she tried. 2/2
Kumo Yotogi [ Cloud Watching ] Once this Genjutsu is cast, colors from the target’s perspective lose their harshness and a peaceful, serene
feeling washes over him or her. The target feels completely relaxed and
at ease, and then the user triggers the second stage by saying
something along the lines of “The clouds are so nice and free…” When
this happens, the target begins to get the feeling of becoming a cloud,
and rising up to join the others in the sky. This Genjutsu is useful
because it can make the target off-guard. 1/2 She giggled a little at the though of someone thinking they were a cloud. Then she suddenly came to the conclusion that it could also be very dangerous. She gathered from the description that it was necessary to be as calm as well as calming as possible to pull of this jutsu. That was easy for her. She was usually the calm one.She moved her finger down the line as she committed the previous to memory. 2/2
Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape [ Unnamed ] This unnamed flower petal technique is a Genjutsu utilized by the Leaf Jounin Yuuhi Kurenai. If Kurenai comes under attack, she can use this technique to cover her escape. After forming the needed hand seals, Kurenai's body will disperse into a shower of
flower petals. These petals will confuse and distract her opponent
while she escapes or hides.1/2 Taka blinked as she stared at the name. How had they managed to pry the yuhi's personal genjutsu out of her. She poured into the knowledge on the scroll and smiled as it was a rather simple technique, which always tended to work better than more complicated techniques. It was simply a distortion layer inbetween herself and her enemy allowing her to quickly hide. 2/2
Hitoshirenu Shikaku no Jutsu [ Hidden Assassin Technique ] Upon casting this Genjutsu, the user claims to have gained superhuman speed, and then seems to vanish in a puff of clouds. The user is actually still standing right where he was before, but the target cannot see him. However, an illusionary version of the user appears behind the target and rushes straight at the target with unbelievable speed, piercing the target’s heart with a Kunai, and then saying something like “It’s over,” or “You’re finished.” The feeling is
real, but it does not cause actual injury. The target will begin to
realize that they are under an illusion when they are not suffering any
further effects from being stabbed. 1/3 Taka read through this one several times. It was a illusion of a lethal technique. the problem was it forced her to give a cliche one liner to utilize her voice to cast the illusion. she started devising how the illusion should move. 2/3 As she thought a visit from one of the chunin in the village came to mind. She was in the academy still learning with the other students. The chunin demonstrated a few jutsu including the popular shunshin. The person had move across the room instantly she remembered what it looked like clearly as the chunin had scarred her with the technique by flickering to her desk. Made her drop her crackers she was to have for a snack. Good thing koshi didn't mind them.She let out a small sigh and moved on. 3/3
Jubaku Satsu [ Tree Binding Death ] Jubaku Satsu is a Genjutsu technique utilized by the Leaf Jounin Yuuhi Kurenai. After forming the needed hand seals, Kurenai will disappear and approach her target. Once near her target, a tree will grow at their feet and its branches will bind them so they can no longer move. Once the illusion makes them believe they are
captured, Kurenai will appear from the tree itself and stab her target
with a Kunai.1/4 Taka's eyes stopped on the name. Kureanai again. She had quite the repertoire of genjutsu and this one seemed like a nasty piece of work. as she read She though about how it was designed to trab a target and lock them into place. 2/4 So it had to be applied to the users mind as well as the sense of touch. The person she effected would have to smell the bark of the tree, feel the embrace of the wood, and hear the rustling of the leaves. 3/4 The final stage of the illusion would be tricking their mind into being trapped. The anchors of the jutsu needed to be firmly set. Perhaps she could work the jutsu around the basis that if their opponent believed they werent breakable then they wouldnt be. She shoved that thought to the back of her mind for the moment and continued to the last of her list. The sirens song.4/4
Sairen no Uta [ Siren's Song ]
The target will see a group of impossibly beautiful women with impossibly beautiful voices, and be drawn to those women. He will then stand near the women for the remainder of the duration of the technique, and even if he realizes that he is in Genjutsu, will generally not want to escape. The user can decide where these women are. Eerily enough, this technique has the same effect on women as it does on men. 1/4 This was indeed a classic ply playing on the instincts and yearning of companionship shared by all humans. Driven by their horomones both male and female alike could easily fall to such a technique. But how to ensnare there mind with this jutsu. 2/4 Taka ran through her fundamentals again of smell sight touch and hearing. The jutsu would need to keep the targets attention. Easy enough with this ones description 3/4 Taka would need to focus on things such as the shape of the women in the illusion. Making their bodies appear solid to the persons eyes. She would need fto focus the smell of flowers in the air to perpetuate the scent of freshly washed hair. As well as make their bodies feel solid if the person decided to touch on of the visions. She supposed she could model the textures of skin and hair after herself, even if it did make her blush at the thought lightly/ 4/4
