❝Eirlys remained in the academy after she had finished learning all the bloodline techniques she cared to learn at the moment. Now she felt the urge to test herself and see how well she could control her snowy chakra. If she could use it in a way that could be problematic for others then that would be great. It was snow, and snow was cold, and the air around her was already freezing. Who was to say the extra snow would not be able to mess with people's perception or tolerance to the temperature? Eirlys sat on the snow paved floor and closed her eyes, crossing her tiny legs before her as she assumed a meditative stance that she remembered seeing some strange bald men doing one time. She made the 'ummm...' sounds that they made too and after that moment of dramatics, she began to conjure her chakra around her. The familiar snow began to fall lightly to the ground below. That was a start.

Now she started to concentrate even harder, willing the snow that fell around her to twist and bend in several directions as it fell, and only a few of the snow particles obeyed her command and began to move about indefinitely. Not good enough. There was no wind entering the academy through the doors as they were closed and would most likely be difficult to open because of the chance that the lock was frozen shut by all the frost the little girl had conjured, so in that case, the wind could not have been the cause of the snow being moved about. It was all her.

There were still only a few that listened to her though, and she needed for all of them to do as she commanded. So she tried again, closing her eyes and allowing the snow that fell around her to fall for a time before she troubled it. It began to whip around her, creating small gusts of wind that would have otherwise lifted her off the ground had she not planted herself firmly. It began spinning around her in balls of snow and a trail of wind. She was laughing at what she had managed to do.

She remained where she was and further went on to manipulate her chakra into a simple burst of frigid wind that beat against the walls of the academy. It didn't necessarily have much force behind it, but simply a way for her to extend an even colder wave of air outwards. If one could not tolerate the cold then they most definitely would not want to be around Eirlys. She was quite used to extreme temperatures by now, so obviously it was not a problem for her. But what could be said about others she might meet?

Eirlys stood up from her position and stretched lightly before she took up a ball of snow from the ground and proceeded to throw it at the wall. It was simply a childish gesture, and she felt the need to do it. She created her own snow. That had to be something worth a reward of some sort, though she figured that what would not be the likely outcome, as she hadn't really done anything for her village in any way as yet, except for taking up the mantle of a full-fledged Ninja, ready to defend her home. For her final act with manipulating her chakra perfectly she sent out a gust of the icy wind in all directions and had it lightly create a whooshing sound off the walls. That marked the end of her training in manipulating her chakra, for now at least.

Walking about the academy aimlessly for a few minutes, Eirlys thought of what she could do next. Maybe she could go ahead and learn her Fuuton techniques now, though she didn't feel like it right now. But what else was there to do at the moment? That was when it came to her. She stood still and began forming several handsigns for no apparent reason. This was a swift string of signs that were still visible by trained eyes, but she needed it to be even faster, or her techniques could be anticipated and evaded.

The string of handsigns were formed again, this time being slightly faster than before, but still not yet perfected in the girl's eyes. She tried it several more times before she started to believe that she really had gotten much faster with her hands and the signs. That was a start.

She did the same again, moving even faster than before. Her work was paying off, for she could feel it. In order to better test her prowess she formed the handsigns for her Fuyu no Iki technique. They were formed swiftly and without hindrance, where she was then able to complete them in a matter of two seconds if not one and release the cold breath outwards to freeze the wall over.

Even more handsigns came as she tried the same thing again, weaving her snowy chakra about herself as she went. directing the snow to do her bidding. It did just that as the string of handsigns came even swifter this time, almost a blur.

Finally, her final attempt at perfection. She formed the seals for the Fuyu no Iki once again and this time there were no falters as was to be expected, and the breath of winter came forth without hindrance and froze the walls. This marked the end of her long training, though she still dreaded that she would have to learn the Fuuton techniques, and possibly a Taijutsu style as well as Bukijutsu. It was a lot of work, but she felt she could manage. Mind over matter was the phrase.

Eirlys exited the academy and looked around, noticing that there were people all around. Two girls and two guys, and only two of them seemed to be training. The other two were talking. She wondered of maybe she should go and interact with them. It was definitely what she wanted to do, but would they want to talk to her or would they just leave. Then she noticed that that was exactly what they were doing. They were leaving the academy to where Eirlys had no idea. She sighed out of boredom as she sat at the steps of the academy and watched.

XXXHis response was rather unexpected and noticing his confusion, Ayaka raised her head slightly to look at her cousin. He didn't seem to be disturbed by her actions and he was rather indifferent about the whole thing so Ayaka relaxed. Ayaka listened and watched in silence as Kazuki talked about heading over to the Hokage's office while he stuffed his hands into his pockets. When he instantly turned on his heels and began leaving, along with Pan, Ayaka was rather dumbfounded. For a moment she was worried that Kazuki was mad at her and tilting her head down in disappointment, didn't move from her spot. 'Why can't I do anything right...?' Just as she was about to leave, Aya felt a chill wash over the area and only coming from behind. Following instincts, Ayaka turned around to see a petite girl dressed in some cute winter robes that were not really suited for this kind of weather. 'What a strange choice in clothing...' When Kazuki took a moment to stop and address her, Ayaka's head snapped instantly towards him and responding quickly, she energetically nodded her head twice. Taking off into a light jog to catch up to Kazuki and Pan, Aya would pause to spare the young girl another glance. 'She looks familiar though...' Setting aside that thought for now, Aya returned her focus forward. They were off to get her a headband and honestly, Aya was a bit excited for it.

❝Still on the outside after having watched the others leave, Eirlys sighed, guessing that they must have had something really important to do. She wasn't really one to just sit around and do nothing, so she figured she might as well get a bit more training done if she could. That would be best considering the Hokage's words before he allowed her and the other girl to leave the office. Once they were finished training they were to go back to him and get testes or something to that effect. At her current level and with her limited amount of techniques, she didn't believe that she would stand a chance. Back inside the academy, Eirlys went for a scroll on non-elemental Ninjutsu, deciding that that would be her next course of study. The first technique that caught her eyes was the Shunshin no Jutsu.

It was a fairly simple technique that required only for her to concentrate. She wasted no time doing that, keeping her eyes opened and conscious of her surroundings. She thought of where she wanted to appear, and a few seconds later she had vanished and reappeared outside the academy. She jumped for joy in the air and tried it again, reappearing inside the academy right next to the scroll with the techniques.
~2/2 Shunshin no Jutsu Learned~
The next one that caught her attention was the Kozumikku Jigyou no Jutsu, which would allow her to send an astral projection of herself to another location as long as she had been there once before. Eirlys molded her chakra finely and concentrated on a place that she wanted the image of herself to be. The first place that came to her mind was the Hokage's office, but then again popping in unannounced would be bad, especially if the Hokage had a temper. No. The best thing to do would be to start small.

Refocusing, Eirlys thought of somewhere closer to where she was now, and what closer place than outside the academy's doors? Her chakra bent to her will and she could sense the Jutsu wanting to be used properly to do her bidding. Without wasting another second, Eirlys began. "Kozumikku Jigyou no Jutsu". She felt it start to work. She could feel another consciousness being formed not too far from where she was, and to check it for herself, the little girl ran outside, only to be greeted by herself, standing there smiling as if it were real. Finally feeling like she had the technique down, she made the projection disappear.
~2/2 Kozumikku Jigyou no Jutsu Learned~
The Kage Bunshin no Jutsu was next, and this seemed like a very handy technique to have in one's arsenal. Not only did it create clones of the user, but these clones had life and were able to act like the user and gather information and much more without the user actually having to do anything themselves. Definitely something every Ninja should want to learn, and Eirlys was no exception. Without further delay she began to mold her chakra.

The snow began to flow all around her, the wind and frigid air causing her hair and her clothes to flail about lightly. The snow which would seem too cold for others was just perfect for the little girl, as she had been around the cold since birth. It could almost be said that she could not live without it. She kept up her chakra control and caused the snow to swirl about her more fiercely now. This was her way of preparing for the use of a technique to create perfect clones.

When she was done showing off ti no one with her snow, Eirlys formed the single handsign needed to utilize the Jutsu. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu". Her clear voice rang out gently around the room and echoed off the walls as she spoke, and not too long after did a clone of herself form before her. This clone was not yet perfected, as half of its face was melting for some reason. It looked horrid.

She dispelled that one and tried again, determined to get the job done properly. She formed the handsigns again and a few seconds went by with nothing happening before a clone appeared before her. This one was perfect, as they all should be, and they both admired themselves for a moment before giving each other a high five. The clone disappeared after that and Eirlys mentally patted herself on the back for a job well done.
~4/4 Kage Bunshin no Jutsu Learned
This next one was a great technique for her, and it was called the Hyourou no Jutsu, which required an area already filled with snow and ice in order for it to work. That was not a problem as the area around her was already filled with the snow and ice created by her, so using this technique would be a cinch.

But just for good measures and for maximal effectiveness, she decided to create a bit more snow within the area and keep it going, which was what she did when she formed her Hatsuyuki and allowed it to go into the sky and spread, releasing its snowy contents to the earth below. The temperature in the area dropped again, becoming very cold for others. Without further adieu she began building the chakra needed for the technique.

She formed the handsigns needed and touched the ground, watching as columns of ice rose from the already created snow and and lined the room of the academy. It seemed like it could be a very handy technique, and she wanted to test it out a little further before she trusted it though.

She formed the handsigns for the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and watched as a perfect clone of herself came from nowhere. The clone already knew what she wanted, and it began to move around quickly within the academy as Eirlys placed her hands back on the ground and caused the columns of ice to form again, trying to capture the clone inside. On of the columns caught the clone by the leg and began top form along the rest of its body, but the clone quickly attacked by forming a few handsigns and releasing the Breath of Winter technique to try and do some damage. Concentrating, Eirlys allowed one of the ice columns to form before her and take the brunt of the attack. By that time the clone was frozen solid within the ice and Eirlys was safe. She nodded and allowed the ice to shatter and the clone to go poof.

❝Now she was ready to learn her Fuuton techniques that she had put on delay for too long now. Learning these would be a 'breeze' as far as she could tell, for these were second nature to her right after her bloodline techniques. The first one on the list that caught her eyes was the Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu, a simple technique that would allow her to life objects with wind and send them flying. She turned to a vase off to the side of the winter wonderland and started to manipulate the wind around it. The vase was lifted off the side and sent crashing into the wall at the far end of the room. That was one down, and several more to go.
~1/1 Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu Learned~
The net technique was one that would allow her to manipulate objects as they moved trough the air. Simple enough, though she thought it would be a little tedious. She went for it anyway, procuring a Kunai and proceeding to throw it at the wall. Before it could hit the wall she used her innate control over wind to push the weapon in another direction and send it flying east. Then she made it go up, then down, then back to, landing right at her feet. 'Next!'
~1/1 Tobidougu Soujuu no Jutsu Learned
The next technique was one that would allow her to pull small objects towards herself through the power of wind. Just as simple as the first, and so she went about doing it with ease, looking at the broken shards of the remnants of the vase that crashed against the wall. She used the wind to pull said shards towards herself, where she then quickly manipulated the wind to scatter them in every direction, doing no harm to her. It was now time to move on.
~1/1 Toridashi Kaze no Jutsu Learned
This technique would allow her to form a ball of wind that she could hurl at opponents to do them harm by having it explode and also cause them to obtain cuts. Having no one to train with her at the moment, she settled for a clone that she created, forming the ball of wind in her hand and letting loose. The ball exploded upon intact and the clone went poof, but not before she was ale to see the lacerations on the clone's skin. That was a complete success.
~1/1 Kaze Bakuhatsu Learned
Forming another shadow clone, Eirlys had it stand at a distance from her and raw several kunai and shuriken to throw at her. She nodded when she was ready and the clone quickly did as commanded. A surge of wind began to form and spin around her, capturing the thrown projectiles before sending them back from whence they came. Several of them impaled the clone and it vanished, leaving Eirlys to her whims.
~1/1 Kaze no Bouseki Tate Learned
This next one was a technique that seemed like it would be quite useful if she used it correctly. She formed the string of handsigns quickly and watched as the wind around her began to take form, becoming a large twenty foot dragon that flew around her in a defensive manner. She watched it without the fright that some children would feel and with but a thought, commanded it to fire off three rounds of wind explosions. It did just that and manged to crack through the portion of the wall that it aimed before it vanished.
~1/1 Furyuu no Jutsu Learned
This next technique was fair enough. It would allow her to engulf her targets in a vortex of flower petals that will limit their vision as well as slam them against walls or whatever was around. She formed the needed handsigns and used this technique on another vase close by. The flower petals swirled around it, lifting it into the air and sent it crashing against the far wall.

Still not satisfied, Eirlys formed the handsigns again and turned to another vase along with some of the snow on the ground and allowed the wind to pick up and give rise to both the clumps of snow and the vase, sending them whirling around violently before they slammed into the wall. That would have to do for now she guessed, and she moved on to the final technique she needed to learn for the day.
~2/2 Hana Chirimai Learned
Tornado Barrage was next, and once she learned this she figured that she would have had enough training for the time being. She formed the handsigns needed and sent her snowy chakra flowing around in the air around her, creating twisters that were cold due to her natural skills that spun in circles around her. There were three in all.

First she decided to have them go in a straight line in all directions around her, which they did and upended the snow on the ground along the way before they crashed into the walls and dispersed. She did the same again, forming three more and this time when she sent them flying, they moved about madly, causing destruction before she allowed them to disperse. That was a job well done.

Shizuka dispersed the clone once more, leaving it as nothing more then a cloud of bugs that returned to her and entered her body once more ready to use again. She noticed Roku doing exercises with his coat off. She looked away to dismiss the blush that was creeping up on her face. She in truth had a crush on him. He had saved her life, she was determined to repay him some day some how. But besides that, in her eyes he was the only human worthy of trust.
[Learning: Insect Wall Technique]
She put the scroll back in her pack once more having decided what the next technique would be. She placed her hands together, rubbing them together in concentration. She then held her hands out once more, sending out stream afterwards which was larger then before. The stream of bugs began to stack up, more and more forming into a bigger and bigger wall. She closed her eyes and focused further upon the technique. The wall crumbled for a moment or two. "No, no, no!!!" She focused on it harder, mumbling something about stupid bugs as the wall reformed up just fine and the jutsu was completed. She smiled at her efforts of her labor. This technique was a little harder then the others. But not anything that she could no handle.
[Learning: Secret Technique: Insect Cocoon]
The next technique on the list was slightly more...Odd...Then the others. But it seemed like something she had to learn regardless. She shrugged and put the thing back in it's pouch, placing her hands into a simple seal for focus she knelt down and began to form a cocoon. She was soon immersed and focusing purely on the bugs within her body. They began to multiply at a significantly increased rate, she began to shiver slightly as she could feel them crawling underneath her skin even more so then before. It freaked her out just a little bit. But she allowed it to continue for a few moments more before she could stand it no longer. She broke out and admired her work. She now had thousands more bugs to work with. Neato! |

°•~ Roku, for his height and age was pretty muscular. He decided it was time for something more intense. He realized she hadn't seen any of his new techniques. So he decided it was time to surprise her. He stood up and took a deep breath. He folded his elbows and put his fists down by his sides. He concentrated and he activated the first gate of the Eight Gates. This wouldn't put to much strain on him, but it would help increase his work out procedures. He ran forward and went into a series of kicks, punches, dodges, dives, and rolls. he went over to his chakrams and used those next.
From there he went into a serious of slashes, upper slash, vertical and horizontal slash. He blocked, deflected, side-stepped and twisted. he rolled up into the hits and he could feel every muscle alive with the feeling of the rush and energy coursing through his blood, veins, and entire body. ~°•
