Are you Religious? yeah...born agian christain
Why? I like having morals such as abstinance(sp?) and not doing drugs or alcohol. I don't put down anyone that does them but I am here for them if they need me. I pray for them too.
Do you think overly religious people are annoying? YES!!!! I have met some and they are WOAH!!!!!

Are you Religious? I hate the word "religious." It has such a negative connotation. D: I try to steer clear of it whenever possible. I prefer to say instead that I'm very strong in what I believe as a Christian. 3nodding
Why? It's what I believe is true. Despite doubts and obstacles, I've always come back to this (or rather, have been pulled back to this). I've been blessed beyond measure, and have seen miracles so often in my life. It makes the most sense.
Do you think overly religious people are annoying? Overly religious? It depends. If they mind their own business, they don't bother me. If they're being obnoxious and forcing their opinions on me, sure, I'll be a little annoyed. Even if they're not forcing their ideas on me, but on someone else, and even if I agree with those ideas, if they're being obnoxious about it then- well, that's just plain obnoxious. sweatdrop
Do you like to eat pizza? Meh ...
Also, to answer the TO's question about why everything always has to be about God with people who are religious- people who are religious draw their definition of themselves from what they believe. Separating God from any aspect of their life is simply an undoable thing because God is what they have made their lives about. So I hope that makes sense and answers your somewhat rhetorical question.

YaoiKween I'm a christian, but a strange one since I'm NOT religous in any way, I love yaoi/bondage (I'm an adult, get over it), I cuss a LOT, and I don't really believe in god. Niether do a lot of my friends. Actually, I don't believe in any form of god, just that we exist and evolved from something. I believe in the evolution rule and not so much that god stuck us on earth. Kind of hard to believe... I know a few people who are over religous and it annoys me to the point where I've told them to f*uck off. One of those people being a friend of mine who new I read yaoi and all of a sudden got religous about it in my face. I'm an adult and I don't need to be told to stop reading it if I enjoy it. 3nodding

And actually, there has been evidence for more than just the people that existed. There is evidence of a flood (though the scale of the floor is up for debate), and there is evidence for the plagues of Egypt. There is also evidence for the clouds of smoke and pillars of fire that Moses and the Israelites followed out of Egypt. Just so you know. ^_~

Well, yeah, that actually kinda makes a bit of sense. I mean, according to MOST Christians, whatever sect, they believe that God is the creator of all, right? So theerefore, he also had to ahve also created 'evil' to combat the 'good'. So, yeah...I can see where that would make sense.
EDIT Mm ... sorry for the multiple posts. sweatdrop Religion is one of the things I absolutely am passionate about discussing, and when it comes to Christianity, I can't help but correct people when they misunderstand something. If I understood other religions more, I'd correct all of the misunderstandings, but seeing as how, as a Christian, I know the most about Christianity, I stick with fixing those errors. sweatdrop

Why? becasue it makes me feel happy, not to mention it helps to explain all the crap people go through. i dont believe in random too much. and im pagan, so i do a few rituals every once in a while.
Do you think overly religious people are annoying? oh my yes, and the one thing i hate more than puchy christians and vegans is a pushy athiest, much more annoying

im a christian... does it make me bad? i don't believe in religions... sorry jusst a bunch of ritual... i have my relationship with God and its good... im blessed and i tell ppl but i don't force...metal is awesomeXD... magic is miracles and blessings... and fun... that i have!!!! xp heart heart

I am a catholic and I have very strong beliefs in God. I dont think i'm overly religious and I personally hate it when my friends and I argue about why I believe what I do- i.e abortion. I believe that as long as you have a firm belief in God and your relationship with Him and others is good you will go to heaven, but of course, that is for Him to decide when the time comes. I don't hate people who are athiest or of other religions and I dont try to convince others that my religion is the only right. That is your job to decide what is right and wrong. biggrin
BTW i LOVE pizza- stuffed crust is the way to go! lol
