Jae felt instantly reassured with his responses. At least he wasn't that nosy. She wouldn't have to fend off inquiries. She had just sworn alliance to a village she barely knew, it would take awhile before she wanted to allow the word 'Yuki' to escape her lips. He got really energetic when it came to the Suiton topic. She smiled, genuinely. Her expression softened somewhat. At least she wasn't the only one who found that the ability to use the elements was something benevolent in itself. To keep watch over me? Her muscles contracted a little bit, Jae putting her wall back up. So, she was being watched. That was the reason for him coming out here. He was curious to see what exactly a Genin from Yuki could offer. Jae's smile lost the soft edge it had earlier. She was back to her old self. Her fox faced grin was something she had perfected over time. It had gotten even the Hokage off her back and had fooled many in her time. "Mmmm." She agreed with him about the guy who had been a complete jerk and idiot in the office earlier in the day. Keiji was on par with her there. Nothing good would come out of socializing with someone that obtuse. He would only serve as a good head ache inducer. Jae watched him grin to himself, clearly having amused himself with something. Coaxing a brow she wondered idly what it could have been. Then again, maybe it was safer not knowing what went on in the minds of adolescent boys.
When Keiji began to converse with her once more he went on about his specialty. Genjutsu. An art Jae had no understand of and abhored greatly. Ever since fighting the woman who had tried to kill no only her Yuki- Wait.. The Kage of Yuki. She had to stop thinking she was a part of Snow. Anyways. Ever since she had fought the woman who had tried to kill the Kage, Shigeru and herself she had come to greatly detest the art of Genjutsu. There was truth in his words about collecting a team with vast diversity in techniques but she still couldn't exactly feel overjoyed to potentially be teamed up with one who used such an art. "Genjutsu, huh? Well isn't that something." Jae commented, not wanting to seem too silent. He had perceived her as an elemental, that had been understandable but a medic. That was amusing. Nothing interested her less aside from Genjutsu. Healing and nurturing was not her forte. Putting those in the state to require a medics services was a different matter. Jae was unsure if she should oblige to the conversation and tell him about what she hoped to specialize in. He was speaking without restraint, that was for sure. Could she trust him and do the same? It wasn't like there would be any harm in it. Eventually, if he kept 'watching her' he would find out. "I hope to specialize in my Clans Jutsu actually. Elements are very useful but nowadays they can be used by most and it doesn't really serve to make you an elite shinobi." Their conversation sounded a little to up key, Jae smiling impishly and adding. "I want to be able to kick peoples butt with something they may have never encountered before." Keiji seemed to be very well informed about the process of selecting possible team candidates. Honestly she felt he was taking it too seriously. Even if Jae was put on a team filled with low level shinobi, she would not falter in climbing to the top. She didn't need anyone's help to accomplish this. Still. She gave the boy credit. He was well versed for his age. His head was in the right place. It was an amiable trait. |

Jae stood in the field, finally alone. Taking a deep breath she cleared her mind. Keiji's clone had done it's job and had departed. Whatever information it carried to the original would be interrupted now. It bothered her a little bit that she had been followed like a target and watched. All for the purpose of checking to see if she was worthy enough to meet his expectations. Of course, she didn't show her irritation until he had gone. Clenching her fists, she tried once more to clear her mind. After a few failed attempts, she reach a sort of serenity. One that would enable her to train fully.
[1] Jae decided she didn't need to stand for this one. Taking a seat, she drew out a Kunai that she had on her, placing the tip of the weapon on her skin. Gulping, she replayed what her parents had taught her about using her techniques. She had to draw blood and until she was able to crystallize it she could not move to the next step. Drawing blood voluntarily was a little hard for her to do. Finally mustering up the courage, she dragged the knife across her pale skin. The blade did not cut deep but it had peeled back enough skin to draw steady welting of blood drops. The skin around her wound puckered a bright pink color.
[2] Focusing on the wound she moved a hand over it, beckoning it to rise as she did when she manipulated the Suition element. The water inside of the blood obliged, the drops collecting together to puddle on top of her wound in a little circle. Focusing, Jae pushed her chakra into the location where the coin sized pool of blood had formed. The chakra engulfed the blood and then began to slowly alter it's state, turning it from liquid to a malleable solid.
[3] Jae's brows were furrowed as she concentrated on her task. It was tough work trying to keep the chakra in such a small spot and continuing to feed the area. Finally her work paid off. The pool of blood took on a glassy sheen, the liquid feel gone now. Picking it up, she inspected it. The edges were sharp and as she felt around it she sliced her finger. Small droplets dribbled down her finger as she yelped and inspected the cut. Since she had cut herself again she might as well put it to good use.
[1] Focusing her chakra to her finger, she infused it with the blood that had already started falling from her cut finger. She collected it and began to mold it, trying to thin it out just as her parents had showed her once before. Her mother had once used this technique to supply them with needles for a BBQ when they had forgotten to buy supplies for dinner. Her father had laughed and went along with it. She lost her concentration and the chakra being fed cut off. The blood hardened into an odd looking shape. It was almost thinned out to how she wanted it but it was too wavy.
[2] Trying once more, she decided to just draw the blood out through under her skin instead of cutting herself all over the place. Closing her eyes she tried to picture the blood vessels that sat on top of her muscles and just underneath the skin. She beckoned to it, bringing up multiple microscopic droplets of blood that collected together and soon created a decent amount of blood to use. Activating her chakra, she concentrated hard on getting it to shape a long, hollow, , thin needle. The points were the hardest to shape until she pictured the tips of a Kunai. Soon she had created the perfect needle, Jae wrapping her hands around the finished products and inspecting it. It was hard and eerie as it had a solid maroon coloring to it. Hands down it was one of the most beautiful things she had created.

Jae rubbed her muscles, the lactic acid was building due to her overdoing it. She was far from finished and was going to set out what she had been aiming to do. Learning her clans techniques was important. She not only wanted to become a stronger shinobi but she wanted to be able to redeem her mother. Because she had married someone who the clan had not selected for her Jae was immediately considered an outsider, one who had tainted blood and could never respectably pass the name of the clan on. Hopefully she could change this, however, by surpassing the best in the clan. In order to do that, she was going to have to seek out those who also had their clans name and bloodline and defeat them. She would make a name for herself amongst her own clansmen as the best. With her renewed energy, Jae stood up.
[1] There were only two more Jutsu her mother had gotten to demonstrate to her before Jae's untimely departure. The memories were fresh in her mind now. Holding out her hand she tried to picture what her mother had done. Jae, it's important to always channel your Chakra appropriately when using any of the clans techniques. One little mishap and you will not get the proper fusion and it can prove disastrous. Arei no Hari is one such technique. The key is to make sure the chakra stays internal, just lining the last layer of your skin in your hand. With enough force you can do this. Jae had watched silently as her mother hand sent a barrage of needles flying out of her hand. They were endless to Jae's eyes and were bewitchingly beautiful as they tore into the dummy they used for practice purposes. Jae closed her eyes and focused, biting on her lip as she did so. Channeling her chakra she struggled, trying to keep it from engulfing her hand entirely.
[2] It took her two consecutive trials in order to finally grasp the right amount needed to be effective. With time and practice she would probably get this down effortlessly. She slowly began to push with her chakra, the blood in her hands moving with it's cause. Her pink chakra turned an eerie red coloring as it enclosed the red needles that were slowly taking form at the base of her outstretched palm. Small dribbles of sweat accumulated on her brow, her body shaking with the effort. Jae supported her outstretched hand by grasping it at the wrist with her free hand.
[3] Continuing to force her chakra to yield the results she wanted, she watched as finally the needles began to shape themselves according to what her mother had shown her. Now for the final push... Jae had a habit of putting too much chakra into her jutsu, something to do with her chakra control and need to make things as strong as possible. She shot a large burst of chakra and shot it outwards, watching the needles fly off in a clumsy manner in front of her. Jae had overshot her chakra once again and was sent flying backwards, landing roughly on her backside. It didn't phase her any, however for she had just mastered a new technique and was way too elated to really mope about falling.
[4] Getting to her feet, quickly, she tried one more time. She wanted to execute it without falling on her butt. Carefully she collected the chakra in her palm, not letting it engulf her hand. Then she pushed, the blood accumulating slowly as she focused. It stretched and formed into the needle like shape, half a dozen forming. This time, not using as much chakra as before, she shot them out, the needles flying straight, traveling a good distance before clattering to the soft earth when they could not find a target to bite into.

Jae watched carefully, trying to see any weak points in his defense. Her mouth dropped open a little as her shuriken ripped through his clothing. He was quick enough to avoid getting stabbed by them but not skilled enough to avoid them. Jae was wary but it made her feel a little bit better. Hiyato jumped back and onto the branch of a nearby tree. Not wanting too much distance closed, she followed, keeping him in her sights. The sounds of her footsteps in the sloshy water was louder here as it echoed in the silent fields. Looking up at him, she raised her brow quizzically as he let loose a chain. As the chain finally dropped to full length, off his arm, he muttered something, Jae getting that gnawing feeling that she wasn't going to like what was coming next. In that split second, he let lose an odd looking bladed weapon, attached to the very chain he had just extended to full length. Jae should have not allowed this. Now, even with her standing as far away from him as was safe he would be able to get her. She was going to have to disarm him first, before getting in close. With a quick series of flips backwards, Jae avoided his direct aim at her. That weapon needed constant momentum. All she had to do was stop him from swinging it.
Jae moved her hands again, once she had finally righted herself. Blowing through a few signals easily, she let her hand drop, extended towards the puddled water around her. It churned and then rose, a tendril snaking up and latching onto her wrist. Jae gripped the liquid and it altered it's shape a little bit, forming a sort of handle for her. Moving her arm back, the water followed the action, Jae flicking her wrist forward at the same instant. The water stretched and then snapped off from it's main pooling source, forming a long whip. Jae moved her arm back again and then shot it forward, aimed at Hiyato's arm specifically.

Jae retracted her whip, scoffing at him as he easily avoided the whip. Jae released her grip on the object, the water trickling down her arm and back to the source. At least he is back on the ground, she mused. Jae still kept her distance, feeling for it rather than calculating it exactly. Those milky eyes edged with prominent veins constantly reminded her to keep her distance. In order to end a fight drastic measures had to be taken. If she couldn't force him to make a mistake she was going to have to make it look like she did. Letting out a little breath, she made the most basic of hand signals, the activation of her chakra ringing in the clearing. The water that surrounded her on either side rippled and then morphed, stretching until two human figures formed. The water sprayed out all at once, obscuring the figures from sight. When the sprays foam had cleared, two versions of Jae stood aside from her, both of them standing in a nonchalant manner. "You have yet to bare your fangs at me, Hyuuga, despite the situation." Jae's coaxed her head to one side, the other two staring directly at Hiyato now, their gaze as molten as their owners. "If you wont roar i'll just have to end it then..." Jae said, that impish grin returning. She had waited long enough. If he was holding back she would let him have it for sure.
Jae bent at the knees, her clones following her lead and she jumped, moving towards the right while one of her clones moved to the left, the other chasing after her. All three Jae's ran in a circle around Hiyato, mingling together as they did so. She was sure those eyes would be able to track efficiently and she was glad she was knew this fact. Her running was to kick up momentum, not to confuse him. All Jae's skidded to a stop in unison, kicking up a wall of water in Hiyato's direction. At the same time they all drew their arm back and then aimed a punch at the puddle they had kicked up. A pellet of water the size of their fists shot out from the opposite side of where their fists connected with the water. Three separate fists headed directly at Hiyato at a quick speed, however Jae's tact didn't end there. A leaf suddenly replaced a figure, where the real Jae had been standing prior. Using her body flicker technique, she reappeared behind Hiyato, crouched down low. Jae swung her hips and lashed out her right leg, balancing the rest of her body by leaning to the left at an angle on her hands. Jae aimed for his legs. It was time to go all out. Starting now.
