I know this is off of what series you like, but It'd be appreciated if you read "The Doll People." The second is "The Meanest Doll In The World." The third is "Runaway Dolls." And I'm not sure what the 4th is.

Well this series is a bit more girl centric (meaning the main characters are female and there's some romance...not like twilight romance though.lol), but they've got good action, especially if you like the fantasy genre : Tamora Pierce's 'the song of the lioness quartet', 'the immortals quartet', 'protector of the small' (quartet). These are groups of four books each, about the same world, following three different girls. You'd have to start with the song of the lioness quartet, to be in sequential order. Those are her best books. There's 'tricksters choice and 'tricksters queen', then 'Beka Cooper:Terrier', which are all part of that world, but these progressively get harder to read. But they are good if you want to read more about the world its set in. She has another series based in a different world, called 'circle of magic'(also a quartet), and the circle opens (quartet), but i find those are definitely harder to read.I don't like them as much.
If you want to take a break from fantasy, I strongly recommend 'The Alchemist' by Paolo Coelho. Its a masterpiece. It takes time to get through the big words (lol), but its well worth the effort.

Look what asr baby say! Haven't read Percy Jackson, but I have read Harry Potter...
The only ones I can think of right now that are sort of related are "The Dante Valentine Series" and "The Mercedes Thompson Series"
They're both enjoyable mindless types of books - not too simple, not too hard - and kinda sorta have magic/supernatural in them.
I also liked the "Magic Kingdom of Landover Series" and this other series I can't remember the name emo but I haven't been able to find and finish the books, so....
ahaha hope these helped and were nice and new suggestions smile Tee hee~

I just finished reading "The Sky is Everywhere" and it has to be one of my all time favorite books....It is much more of a modern day teenager, going through some extremely hard things, and if you contain estrogen you'll probably love this book, but it's amazing, and I think that everyone will like it...
