Walking into the armor shop and tailor, Theodin spotted a hard cloth robe, black with dark blue around the collar, sleeve ends, and down the middle where it buttoned. Smiling slightly, he grabbed that, then approached the counter to talk to the shopkeeper, “I’ll take this robe, and I’d like to order some medium armor with efreet skin and Nitinol alloy patches on the chest, back, and upper arms. Also, I’d like it insulated against both hot and cold, if possible.” The shopkeeper smiled “Alright, that we can do, it’ll be ready in a couple days.” Theodin would then pay for everything, then head out of the shop to wander the town while he waited for his armor.
A few days later, Theodin wandered back into the armor shop, nodding to the shopkeeper as he brought out Theo's new armor. Taking the package, Theo thanked the shopkeeper, then tucked it under his arm with all the other stuff he'd bought and left the shop to head home

Bast's campsite, draped in shadows from the sun's long descent to the far horizon, sat still and ready for her return. The fire's coals cold, yet viable enough for more raging infernos, would seem inviting when she returned, throwing off the darkness when lit. Only... the shade was a bit more shadier. Perhaps the surrounding foliage had unfurled new leaves, or the drifting overhead clouds obscured higher reflections. In any case, the place felt just as homey as usual.
The evening brought with it the usual strange depths in the shadows, Bast remarked as she returned to the campsite, but something seemed off. Mononoke sat next to the dwindling fire pit, defeathering a wild fowl caught earlier in the day for dinner. The former Kazekage tenuously grabbed a couple of sticks and some heavier logs from the wood pile he rgolem had been maintaining over the past few days, threw them on the coals, and used some Fuuton Chakra to start up the fire once more.

Ergo War
There was no place darker than the roots of the grass, and when Bast sat down, the shadow had no easier place to go. She had so much chakra, so much life, and when the fire flickered, the ex-Kage had two nearly indistinguishable shadows. It was weak from a deep, long slumber, no host to breathe into its soul. It wanted safety from the wicked world, so it melded with the only shadow present and strong enough to free it from its confines. No difference in shadows, Bast only had one now--as the newest addition--only the depth of shade would signal its presence. Returned to sleep it did, for another two days' time, the exertion from moving as it had had caused the brittle body great strain.
The hair on the back of Bast's neck stood on end, but she could not pick out the cause. After eating, she sat back and consulted a map of the area, intending to pick out areas that could be potentially problematic for the local economy. Her mind kept wandering, though, and eventually she went to sleep, having decided only to check out the river.
The next morning she awoke just as the morning mist was starting to lighten. She felt a bit out of sorts, but the feeling passed as soon as she ate breakfast. Shortly thereafter, she set out for the docks.

Theodin’s clone would stroll into the Silver Thread and look through, seeing one thing he needed for a full set of armor, some gloves. Grabbing them, the clone walked up to the counter and paid for them before nodding and leaving the shop.

Sonyo walked in to the Steel thread and up to the Clerk that was currently working. "Hey there! I'm here on behalf of Bast-sama from Sunagakure. I need one set of Mechanic's Goggles delivered to a female at the gates for holding, please." She handed over the ryo for the transaction. Once the men from the store set out, she grabbed her recipt of the transaction and was on her way to The River Port.

Kaori shook her head at Kaz's question, as they walked into the Steel Thread,
“I... have to be. I'm a Shinobi of Sunagakure. I have to be okay. I can't let personal matters affect me in the field. It could lead to those in my care being killed.” Her response was almost rehearsed, it was clear this was something she has told herself repeatedly. She bit her lip, hard enough that one of her fangs actually pierced the tender flesh and caused it to bleed. She licked the blood from her lip and shook her head. Nova looked at Kaori, clearly not happy, and bumped into Kaz, hissing slightly at him,"Fix. It." Before Kaz could say anything else, however, Kaori stepped further into the shop, browsing the wares. She passed by things left and right, just waiting for Kaz to purchase his items.

Smiling at Nova he could tell she did not like her partner in this state. He wasn't the best at these situations but he felt he needed to at least try. Thinking of a way to approch the situation he looked at the other wares in the store. It seemed he had more then enough money for what he needed. Requesting Steel Arm Guard [x2] they were placed on the counter and he took 500 ryo from his pocket and gave it to the shop keeper.. "You know.... You are my master now. Which means my safety is in your hands." Turning and leaning some on the counter while the shop keeper tried to see if they fit on his hand he had laying on the counter. "Not that I'm helpless or unable to care for myself, but I'll be honest. I would be pretty pissed off if I end up dying because your mind was elsewhere." He spoke with an almost lightheartedness. "You're my master, but you're still human. You might not like to admit it but its actually why I'm glad I got you." The shop keeper let out a small grunt towards their conversation. Almost as if he agreed or disagreed with his words. It was hard to place. Glancing over at the shop keeper with a slightly confused look. But he continued anyway.. He had gone this far no sense in backing out now. If he was sunk he had mine as well go down swinging. "I'm just saying you can talk about it. This is as good a time as any, no enemy right now, little bit of down time when we make it back to the village."
He kept looking at her to see her response. Kaz liked Kaori, he couldn't deny it. But he wasn't quiet sure how he liked her. He still has the fresh burning sting from his last relationship not to mention she seemed to already have a guy she looked at that way. Sure she was attractive and he would kill to know what was going on in her head. But honestly he didn't know how he felt, he just knew he wanted to get to know her better. It was in both of their best interest in order to make things smoother.

Kaori huffed, annoyed. But one look at Nova let her know that her partner would retaliate without remorse if KAori didn't respond in a way she deemed fit. The tamer scowled, but sighed,
“I've been in a coma for a long time, and only just woke up at the tail end of the situation we found ourselves in back in the village. Upon waking, I found out that my brother, the only family I had left, was dead, since he was the previous host of the tailed beast the rest of the village shinobi had been dealing with. I woke up, to late to help my baby brother, and too late to be of any assistance to the village as a whole. Before all of this, I lost a student while on a mission given to me by our Kage. I lost her in this very village. Despite being a Jounin in rank, and even an esteemed hunter-nin, I am far from successful in my endeavors.” Kaori gave Nova a look, as if to ask if that was satisfactory or not. Nova, for her part, just looked like she wanted to argue, and violently. Kaori ignored her, however, and continued, "And the idea of being idle, of being a part of this party our Kage wants to throw, makes me want to rend flesh from bone. I've never been a social person, I'm just as much a cat as Nova is, and while we can be sociable, we don't prefer to be most of the time. And after losing someone.... partying is the farthest thing from my mind. I just want to work, to keep busy, but our Lady Kage has basically prohibited training during the celebration, so I figured I could work on getting my mother's former shop up and running. Perhaps even teach myself new skills."

Kaz looked down for a moment. He realized that what was bothering her was a pretty heavy case. Death and a feeling of helplessness can really leave you empty inside. He knew this better then most. Moving towards her he placed his hand on her shoulder, only this time purposefully. She still blamed herself or had not yet even grieved for her brother, or both. "I'm sorry about Kohaku.... yes I knew him. Not well but we met a few times. Never talked a whole lot but man did he speak well of you...... If any part of you feels guilty for that little guys passing... you should cut that out right now. He looked so up to you that even though hes no longer here, he still looking to you to right what wrongs might have happened..." A slight glare would have become more apparent in Kaz's golden eyes as he diverted them elsewhere. Nowhere in particular but away from her own. "You might not have been there to save him, but you can still be there..." Pausing for a moment to make sure he wanted to tell her all of this. "I lost my parents at a young age. I blamed myself for their deaths because I was not strong enough to make a difference. So.... I make a difference now... And I bet they're proud. Just like Kohaku would be proud." Making a bit of a more confident smile at her he extended his arm with a closed fist towards her. "Lets make a promise to ourselves, to keep making them proud and to keep people we care about now from getting hurt." Looking down at Nova keeping his smile."That means you too."

Kaori stared, not sure what to say. This man had known her little brother? It shouldn't surprise her, they had both been shinobi of Suna after all, but it did. She watched him, as he spoke of losing his parents, and she wondered how it had happened, since her own parents had been killed on a high priority ANBU mission back when she was very young. She closed her eyes, almost as if by doing so she could block all the emotions from affecting her. But she knew she couldn't, some days, she hated being empathic, since she could so easily fall into someone else's emotions, and Kaz's were strong. He truly believed what he was saying to her. Nova butted against Kaori, and then looked at Kaz, eyes narrowed for a long moment, before she nodded and headbutted his outstretched fist, in promise.
"I like this one, Kaori. We should keep him." Kaori sighed and opened her silvery lavender eyes, only to look between the two of them, and then sigh again and lightly bumped her knuckles against Kaz's, and then wrapped her knuckles against Nova's head, between her ears, “I honestly think you are going to be the death of me, Nova. But.... thank you, Kaz. I'll keep your words in mind.” She couldn't promise more, not at the moment, but she could promise to keep his words in mind. She looked around the store, self conscious now; she couldn't believe she had let so much slip. Perhaps she had simply been holding it in for far too long, but there really hadn't been time to grieve, or think about it. First there had been a war, then the evacuation of the few survivors, then training, and dealing with meetings with her Kage. Now, she just wished to get her store ready.

Kaori nodded and looked his spear over, than glanced at her own scythe. It was old, and well worn from years of use,
“Perhaps I should look into getting something done about this as well. Yes, let's head over to the Silver Forge.” Kaori turned on her heel and motioned for Kaz and Nova to join her as she left the shop.

Making his way into the shop, a small smile crept across yasu's face. It had been some time since he had gotten new armor and it would be a good change of pace and look to fit his responsibilities. So making his way to the woman at the counter he explained his order and much to his enjoyment they had a suit that would accommodate his requirements. It was a set of medium armor that was rated to protect against Kunai. After getting a few modifications done, which he politely waited for her to finish with. He readorned his new armor and headed out once again thanking the woman for her work leaving her pay on the counter.
