The awkwardness would last only a bit longer until Robby would shrug and be on his way. He didn't really want to stand around while she was all quiet and nothing was happening. So, why bother? Now the obese youth was waddling towards the route once more, paying no mind to the person who had apparently decided to follow him. Long as she stayed away from the chips, Robby Tobb had no problems.

Soon after departing from Accumula Town, Robby and Henrietta would reach the route. Route two wasn't exactly a large route. There as a ledge on a path, one that you could climb with some skill. One look at Robby said he didn't have that skill.
And that mean they'd be taking the other path, through the grass.
Darumi soon returned from adventuring on ahead. Seems he hadn't gone far, he'd gone to the grass, ran around a bit before it, seen Henrietta and then ran back. She caught him as he jumped into her arms and caught her balance as she was forced a painful step backward.
"Hey Darumi," she said and the Pokemon grinned wide. She set him down and he began to run in a circle around both Robby and Henrietta as they continued onward wherever Nio decided to lead them.

Robby's thoughts never went to that ledge, paths like that never really registered for him. Probably since he wouldn't be able to use them. Ever.
It was Darumi coming back that caught him off-guard. His hand went to his pokeball, but the girl's voice stopped him. She knew the pokemon, and the way it acted, it knew her. A sigh of relief passed, but he still reached to the ball and released Bacon. He'd be needed in the grass.
It was that moment that the ledge registered to him. He glanced back to the girl. "You can climb up that, I bet. Faster, I hear, and you'll avoid a lot of the pokemon, too." At the end of those words, he began munching on a chip and waddling towards the grass, where the pokemon waited.

Henrietta looked at the ledge again. She could climb up it, with some difficulty, but the bruises told her that would be a terrible idea. Besides, she didn't know how much of the Pokemon she could avoid like that.
There was one other thing, too. The most important factor here. She recalled the way Wayne had reacted to her admission of trouble with the route before. She lowered her head and sighed.
"I'm fine. If I can't even make it past this route I'll never become strong enough."

Eunmi smiled and gave her new acquaintance a nod as they approached the Pokémon Center.
"Shoot for the stars, afterall," she said, pointing at Salieri with her index finger, holding her hand like a gun. She pretended to 'bang' at the girl by jolting her hand.
"Thanks for your help," she said, gesturing to the Pokémon Center. "Does healing Pokémon take long?"

"Strong 'nough fer what?" He asked through a mouthful of chips. "You gonn' be fightin' someone?" The slow waddle continued towards the grass while Robby, sort of, waited for the answer. Movement ahead had gotten his attention.
From the grass raced a Patrat, aiming right at Bacon, who had his nose sniffing the air. The pig was caught in the tackle before Robby was able to react with an order...

Salieri shrugged as she opened the door. She had never had to use the pokemon center to heal her pokemon before. "I dunno. Our pokemon didn't do any major damage to each other, so this should probably take a minute or two."
The Battle Girl put her two pokeballs onto the counter so they could be taken by the Nurse. She then turned around to face Eunmi and propped her elbows onto the counter. "So you're headed to Castelia City? I've heard you can get some really good ice cream-"
She trailed off as she looked past Eunmi and out the open door, spotting a teenager that looked to be a little older than she was sitting on a street bench. He had long green hair and a black baseball cap, and was busy trying to play with some sort of cube like puzzle.
Wayne was cute, but this guy...this guy was hot.
"Eunmi, c'mere and tell me what you think of that guy!" Salieri loudly whispered to her new friend, ushering her over quickly.

"Smear?" Da Vinci hopped out of Eunmi's arms as it heard the mention of 'Ice Cream'. It's trainer's goal would lead it where? It suddenly looked motivated.
"Huh?" Eunmi looked down at Da Vinci and then leaned towards Salieri to see the guy from her vantage point. He was attractive. However, Eunmi crossed her arms and shook her head.
"A 7 at best," she scoffed, raising her hands and shrugging. Eunmi was a sucker for appearances, and this guy had it - but she'd also learned from past experiences that hot guys had a tendency of knowing and abusing it.

A 7? Was this girl blind, or just on drugs? "Really? Geez Eunmi, you've got some pretty high standards." Salieri looked back at the counter and began to tap her toes impatiently. If she didn't get her pokemon back fast enough, she could miss her chance at talking to this mystery boy. "Well then you'll be alright with me talking to him then."
The Nurse came up besides the counter, and an Audino next to her plopped Salieri's two pokeballs onto the counter. "Thank you for waiting! Your pokemon are fully healed-" "Sweetthanks!" Sal interrupted as she snatched her pokeballs up from the counter. Spinning on her heel, she gave Eunmi a playful and cocky grin. "Hey, good luck with your art! I'll probably see you later!" she told Emi as she was leaving.

"Yeah, sure," Eunmi raised her hand to wave goodbye as the girl ran off abruptly. She looked down at Da Vinci.
"Smeargle?" it said happily.
"Oh, you want to talk now?" she asked, her brow furrowed. She paused, and then sighed. "You're just hungry now, aren't you?"
The Smeargle nodded.
"What a bother," she sighed, taking Dali's Poké ball back. She asked the woman behind the counter how to get to the next town, and was directed to a map on the wall.
"You think we'll be okay to go to the next town on our own, Da Vinci?"
"Smeaaa," it yawned, realizing it wasn't getting Ice Cream today.
"C'mon, move move move," she waved, gesturing it to exit the Center. "You could have stayed at home with Mom if you didn't want to help me."
"Smear!" it shouted, looking offended. "Smeargle smear smeargle smeargle smear!"
"If you want to go to Castelia City too, we have a common goal, don't we? Then why not help me?"
Da Vinci crossed his arms and looked away.
"Yeah, yeah. Painting with me is one thing, but for some reason you won't protect me."
She looked down at her watch and sighed.
"Get in your Poké ball then, you're too heavy," she said, returning the Pokémon to it's ball. She pulled on her black hooded vest and flicked her hand through her hair, tossing a few strands out of her eyes.
"Castelia City, here I come."

On Route 2, Eunmi stood a fair distance from the tall grass she'd been yelled at about so much before getting a Pokémon. She knew through repeated lectures that wild Pokémon lived there, and now she knew from experience that it could be dangerous. Dali, her Oshawott, was just a few feet from her, and she held up her hand as she knelt slightly to speak to the Oshawott.
"I don't know much about training Pokémon," she explained, "but I know fighting. You're movements are slow and clumsy. It's fine, but we can work to improve that, yeah? That shell you have - the Pokédex says you can use it like a Sword, but it looks like a shield to me. You should utilize it more."
She stood up and punched the air in front of her.
"Tackle is when you charge into your opponent, right?" she lowered her shoulder and made a motion of ramming into someone. "But that can hurt you too. It's reckless. That green monkey-"
"Oshawott."
"-Pansage. It just flipped over you. It completely missed. It's because it saw your footing - it was predictable. Rather than charge head first, you should confuse your opponent."
She began shifting her weight from one leg to the other, waving her hands loose.
"Jump from side to side, like this, 'kay?" she said, pretending to be facing an invisible opponent. She jabbed outward a few times, and recoiled her limbs to block, showing the Pokémon an example.
"Wild Pokémon aren't trained like that Pansage - they move the same way you do. Charging, head first, and putting their all into a single movement. We can do better than that."
"Osha!" Dali nodded, excited at the training it was receiving. It had never battled before, and Eunmi sounded like she knew what she was saying.
"Smeaaaaar," the Smeargle yawned, lazily raising its hand off the rock it was lying on to barely cover its mouth.
"You could stand to pay attention yourself," Eunmi shouted. It waggled it's finger in the air, spinning it in a circle, and rolled its eyes. Whoop-de-doo, it seemed to say. Then it sat up, pulled its tail forward, and began to paint the rock.
"Ugh..." she shook her head. She retrieved her Pokédex from her pocket and pointed it at the Smeargle.
"The painter Pokémon?" she mumbled. "I knew that already..."
She scrolled down to 'Sketch', and read its description.
"Huh? Whaat?" she exclaimed. "You can learn anything?"
"Smeaaar." Another yawn.
"Do something cool!"
"Guuuul," it waved its hand and curled back up, snoring loudly. The Pokédex beeped, displaying 'Snore' on the screen.
"Very funny, Da Vinci!"

((Emi, Robby and Henrietta are, like, within visible range of each other, =D))
"For huuuum, Pokemon!" she said, noticing the arrival of the Pokemon before she could finish.
This one was a different Pokemon than the ones before and already Robby's Pokemon was its opponent. Henrietta stood back uneasily as she watched.
She watched the start of the battle when she caught something a bit further away.
Movement in the grass, this meant another Pokemon, right? Before another Pokemon meant trouble for her. They'd attacked as a group. Henrietta swallowed, gripped her shinai uneasily and furrowed her brow.
"Alright," she said and then she took a deep breath.
Is it really this scary? We fought Wayne just fine. Out here in the wild, though...
Are untrained, wild Pokemon really worse than trained Pokemon?
"No. Darumi, Roll Out!" she said as she pointed to the emerging Purrloin and Darumi began the attack, crashing into the Purrloin as it turned to acknowledge them.

Bacon rolled and stood up, facing the patrat that had just hit him. There was fire in his eyes, but more importantly, fire in his mouth. "Shoot flames outta your mouth!" The Tepig obliged with ember, and the Patrat on its rush was caught by the fire while the pig rolled out of the way.
Bacon rushed the patrat from behind after the order of "Tackle it!" went out. The pig caught the other in the side as it turned to see what was happening through its burnt face. The tackle was enough to finish the fight, and Bacon returned to Robby's side after nosing its opponent to make sure.
"Now what were y- 'Nother one?" Robby exclaimed, seeing that the girl was having her own battle.

"Ah cha cha cha..." Eunmi was on her a**, rubbing her elbow. The sounds she made were unnecessary, because it didn't hurt that much, and if it did, it would warrant a shout more than anything else. Dali stood, huffing and puffing in front of her, protectively keeping a pink Pokémon at bay.
The Audino had popped out of no where, and rammed Eunmi right off her feet. Luckily, Dali took Eunmi's advice to heart, and shouted to attract the Audino's attention.
"Auuw!" The Audino reared back it's hand, swinging wildly at Dali; he hopped out of the way, glancing back to watch where he landed. He was moving away from Eunmi, to keep her out of harms way.
"Yeah yeah!" Eunmi cheered. His footing was already improving. "Tackle- but make it count!"
Eunmi threw her hand out, punching the air, still on the ground. Dali feinted to the left, and then lunged from the right at the Audino, shell in hand to lash out at the Pokémon. The Audino was knocked backward, and Dali quickly slashed again with it's shell, a blue wave following after it, and knocked the off-balance pokemon to the left. In a daze, the Audino wobbled for a moment, regained it's footing, and quickly fled.
"Heh," Eunmi laughed, rising to her feet. "You did it!"
Dali pumped his nub in the air and joined Eunmi in a delighted cheer.
"Told ya, they're not trained," she grinned. "What was that though?"
"Oshaaa?"
"That blue swoosh," she gestured with her hand flat and slicing through the air. "From your shell."
She pulled out her Pokédex and pointed it at Dali. The words "Shell Blade" were highlighted with the word "New!" bouncing next to it.
"So it is a sword," she murmured.
"Sorry," she nodded politely. "I don't know how to use a sword. But in that one chapter - Gligarman VS The Scythe... well, he's named incorrectly. He's based off of a Scyther in design, but he weild's dual Katanas. But his training style is based off a mantis-"
She was gesturing with her hands, making a cupped shape out of them and clicking as she imitated a Scyther. She paused when she noticed a girl a bit in the distance, and dropped her hands to her sides quickly.
"She's shouting something, and I can barely hear her. She probably didn't hear me, right?" she thought, embarrassed. She liked comic books - they had a certain graphic appeal to them. But it was totally uncool, and she had a reputation in High School as a 'popular' kid.
"Right, uh," Eunmi said, squinting to get a better view. The girl was holding... a stick? Or something. "Oh woah, Dali, she's got a sword or something. One of those things that those people use in that one thing."
Dali did not know what she was talking about.
"Like that one movie! It was about... Kendo!" she said excitedly. She was a movie fanatic as well.
"Hey!" she called out, jogging forward. She skidded to a halt when she saw the girl was battling a Pokémon. "Oops, sorry!"

Luckily Purrloins were one of the weakest pieces of crap to ever exist. The roll out knocked the Pokemon to the ground and it jumped up to all fours, facing the oncoming Darumi with a Growl.
And then a scratch as it tried to dodge to the side. Instead its leg was tugged as it was caught up in the rolling motion and Purrloin hit the ground again, this time it didn't get back up.
And Henrietta stood there amazed. She'd beaten the wild Pokemon? She looked over to Robby to see that he'd won as well.
"That... Wasn't so bad," she said. Compared to Wayne? This route didn't stand a chance.
She was excited over her victory. More to the point, Darumi hadn't even taken any damage.
Henrietta, while she didn't hear Emi, noticed her when she turned to look toward Robby.
She was heading right for them and Henrietta brought up a hand uneasily to wave. Of course, she didn't make eye contact, instead she stared passed Emi's head.
"H-hello."
