The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Kari glanced at Remy and shrugged. "Not much. Ghost attack. I think she was lonely or something. She ended up killing two people." She answered as if talking about the weather.

The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Hardcore dude. So is she gone forever or is she gonna be back? and if she's gonna come back can I hang out with you?" Remy asked with a smile. He liked this girl, then again, he liked most girls.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Kari looked thoughtful. "She disappeared, but I get the feeling that she isn't gone per say. Just gone from our perceptions. I want her to come back. I think I know what's bugging her." She flashed a grin at Remy. "I don't mind if you hang out with me. I'm Kari." She stuck her hand out to him in greeting.

Molly heard what they said about the ghost still being there and she began to shiver again. She started to cry from the mental images of the people who died. "S-Sorry...I-I have to go...." she said and ran to the girl's room.

"Remy." Remy said as he shook Kari's hand. Then the other girl ran off crying. "Is she going to be okay?" He asked with concern in his voice.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Kari looked at Molly blankly as she ran off. "She, uh, didn't deal so well with the ghost. I'd better go after her. See you in class!" She waved as she hurried after the other girl. "Molly?" She called as she entered the bathroom. "Molly, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."

Molly jumped when she heard Kari come in and she slowly stepped out of the stall. "I-It's not your f-fault....I-I just don't want to see anymore killing." she said as she clutched her charm tightly in her hands. "L-Last night...I-I've never felt so scared..." she said.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Kari pulled the girl into a hug. "I know. It was scary, wasn't it?" She said soothingly. "Always remember though - Fear is nothing but an emotion. It doesn't have to rule you. You can control your fear." She told Molly encouragingly.

Molly nodded and hugged Kari back. "I-I'm just not as brave as you or the others...M-My big brother was always able to protect me, but yesterday h-he couldn't help....I-I felt so lost and scared..." she said softly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

"You're a strong girl. You'll be okay." Kari said confidently. "Everyone gets scared sometimes. Even I was scared. But we can't let fear rule us. That's the most important thing. We are our own masters, not our emotions."

Molly sniffed and looked at her with a smile. "Your very smart just like my brother. You should meet him someday. You two might get along if you can get through his grumpy side." she said.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is....

Kari hugged her for another minute, then stepped back. "I'd love to meet him. I can get through anyone's grumpiness." She declared cheerfully. "Special ability of mine."

Molly laughed lightly. "I hope you can. After our parents died he's always been grumpy." she said. She then noticed the time. "I think we should get back to class." she said.

Kari pulled out a small pocketwatch with a skull on it. She looked at the time and sighed. "You're right. Best get going. No need for another detention." She said, rolling her eyes. "Come on." She grabbed Molly's arm, leading her out of the bathroom and towards the classroom.

Molly followed Kari and looked at Remy when they got into class. "Sorry for running away from you. I just didn't like remembering what happened." she said.
