"You can test your skills against me." Leigh-Ann said, puffing her chest out and straightening her back to try and look taller or more imposing. "If we can find a clear spot I'd gladly fight you."

((The earth and fire Guardians amuse me)) “The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress glances at the boy before responding, "Habit. Humans have a tendency to fear me, so don't worry, your scent has nothing to do with it." “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

Refusing to take the hint, Rand stepped forward to invade Eris's space, leaning in closer to stare her directly in the eye. "It's not playing. At least, not entirely. Think of it as dealing with a particularly troublesome pest. Which I am, admittedly, but I can at least entertain you for a bit. Besides, I'll get something out of it myself." His eyes narrowed the closer he got the dark-haired woman, his senses tingling in recognition of something. Wait a minute...This feeling is...

Shechina raised an eyebrow at the man's comment and smiled. "I'm not sure how welcome that sounds to me," she said, then the corners of her smile turned down slightly at the smaller girl's mention of fighting. "Oh, please don't fight. Violence never solves anything."

((Glad to be amusing. lol))
Turning back to Leigh-Ann and Shechina, Rand smiled broadly at the idea that someone was willing to take him own. "You ladies sure you don't mind? As our quiet friend over here pointed out, we're better off going to a nice quiet place. So, follow me. There's a spot closer to the outskirts." Nodding to the girls he beckoned for both to follow him, a playful smile curving onto his lips at the thought that he was finally in for a debut of his skills. Answering to Shechina's earlier comment, he couldn't resist a small gibe at her expense unfortunately. "Oh come on. Violence is a part of human innovation and nature. How else do we grow but through conflict and lessons learned as a result of conflict?"

Shechina shook her head, hearing the teasing note in the man's voice, but still rising to the taunt. "Conflict and violence aren't one and the same. There's too much violence and bloodshed as it is. Adding to it simply for the sake of testing each other is not an acceptable reason."

Rand smirked before he turned back towards Shechina, raising his eyebrow at her believes. "How is this violence? When did I propose a fight to the death? To me, this is just a welcoming spar. More like a training session really. I'm not foolish enough to confuse violence with conflict; hence what I propose is really just conflict." His rebuttal was short and to the point, his arms folding across his chest just as he added another teasing comment. "Don't tell me someone as lovely as you is afraid she might enjoy spending time fighting me...That would be a shame. I'd love it honestly, but still a shame."

Shechina put a hand on her hip and met his gaze dead on. "I don't fight. I'm a pacifist by nature, but I will hurt you if you force me to," she said, her other hand straying toward the crystal wand looped through her belt.

((I'm going to assume that Rand can tell Eris is a fire mage by his reaction earlier)) “I will not bow! I will not break! I will shut the world away...”"It would be a miracle if you survived a match against me, boy. Even if it is only training.", Eris says, finally deciding to speak up again. She gives Rand another humorless smile, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important things to attend to than your ego." And with that, the assassin begins to walk away, heading towards the nearest gate so she could move on to the next town. “I will not fall! I will not fade! I will take you breath away...” -'I Will Not Bow', Breaking Benjamin ((Giving you an opening to fight her with her leaving town anyways. Also, you probably won't be able to beat her with your current training/experiance so keep that in mind))

((You got it. Rand can sense her innate Fire Magic. And I'm perfectly acceptable with losing, since isn't the point of the plot that all the Guardians are fairly weak right now? And last point, I'll try to take on both Eris and Shechina if able.))
Turning back towards Shechina he smiled lazily at the idea, eyeing her up and down with obvious interest at the idea of facing her directly. "I would like to see what you can do then. If you're in the mood, follow me." For further provocation he launched a small fireball at her feet, letting the projectile explode sending scattered bits of gravel and dirt onto her. With that done Rand followed eagerly after Eris, his eyes flashing with further mischief as he cut her off at the gate just outside of the town. "But my ego needs constant attention from beautiful Fire Mages!"

Shechina wiped away the dirt and gravel, growling to herself. "If he can tell that woman's a Fire Mage, how come he can't tell I'm a Spirit Mage? It's my job to keep the peace, not join a fight!"

((Just making sure we're both on the same page. I'm finding it amusing that she has been ordered to find the Guardians, but doesn't realize that she's being pestered by three of them)) “I will not bow! I will not break! I will shut the world away...”Eris looks at the pest, her gaze cold. "I said I don't have time to play with you boy.", she snaps. She had a job to do, and this boy was not helping. She hears some of the gate guards start to move towards them, but she subtly waves them off. “I will not fall! I will not fade! I will take you breath away...” -'I Will Not Bow', Breaking Benjamin

((@Tayuya: Stop ninja'ing me! gonk At least I didn't really have to edit anything... Also, other mages can sense mages of the same element, but none of the others. Only the Huntress can sense all of them. The reason behind that may or may not be explained later, but there is a reason))

((Well, at the moment this Fire Guardian certainly isn't helping things along. And the Earth Guardian is a little on the feisty side so....Hilarity ensues.))
Turning back in the direction of Shechina Rand snapped his fingers, taking advantage of the sun high overhead to augment his powers. He let loose a burst of flame directed to the Spirit Guardian, the small blaze stopping in mid-air to split into letters spelling out a message for her from the gate. "Are you done being a worry-wort already? I thought I asked you to come train in a friendly sparring match. I'm even willing to bet that how quickly you'll lose." His words, though he hadn't spoken them aloud, left no doubt that it was indeed the man she had just met speaking to her.
Turning to face Eris he planted himself firmly in her way, rolling around his shoulders to loosen up his body for combat. "You don't have time huh? How about I promise a time limit then? Just ten minutes. It's not like most fights aren't resolved in that much time anyway. I'll even make the first move." Dashing forward Rand grabbed the red steel gauntlets he had purchased earlier, slipping them over his open-gloved fists just before he launched a high kick to her face.

Leigh-Ann hesitated a moment when she noticed that Rand was a fire user, but she couldn't bring herself to back down, and was dissapointed when she followed and saw that Rand was already on the attack with Eris.
"Heeey! I wanted a fight!" She yelled. She didn't often get the opportunity to prove to people that her small size wasn't anything to underestimate her over.
