Zarin kissed her back and smiled. "Cookie, I think I may know how to help to control your transformations."

Cookie then looked at him and said "How?" She wagged her tail then said "Will it hurt?" She never did handle pain well but knew Zarin wouldn't hurt her. She then hugged him and wondered what he was going to do.

Zarin shook his head. "It won't hurt. I remember reading somewhere that when a shapeshifter wants to master their powers, they need to find a mate that matches up with them."

"But I don't want to leave you. I want to be with you and only you." Cookie said and nuzzled him then she kissed him and sat in his lap with her tail wagging slightly.

Zarin smiled. "That's what I'm saying. Maybe I'm your mate Cookie." Zarin kissed her.

Cookie kissed him back and said "I hope so. I dont want to leave you." She then hugged him, her tail wagging happily as she did. She loved Zarin and wanted him to always be with her.

Zarin smiled. "Me too. The only way to see though is for us to get married. But I don't want to force it on you if your not ready."

Cookie then tilted her head and said "But I want to." She said and smiled.

Zarin smiled. "Alright. How about we go look for a ring after we're done here?"

"Why do we need a ring?" She said not understanding the ringmeant they were married. She tilted her head and looked at Zarin. SHe knew that he had been married before he got her but his wife was dead due to an accident shortly after he found her. She then layed her head on his shoulder and stayed close.

"Well, a ring is proof that the two people are married. Not only that, but the ring also symbolizes the bond the couple has." Zarin smiled and put his arm around her.

Cookie smiled and said "Okay then." SHe didn't mind the ring and wanteed to be with Zarin forever. SHe then kissed him and wagged her tail laying her ehad on his shoulder happily as her tail wrapped around him.
