Okay, clearly standing here fuming wasn't getting West anywhere. He kneeled in the grass, then when that proved more awkward than anything else, the boil took a seat, really looking at his net for the first time. If he patched this hole, he wouldn't have it to blame for losing any more bugs, at the very least. West began to slowly tie the ends of the frayed strings together, eventually giving up and knotting them all in a big clump. His net was much smaller, but it was also no longer holey.
While he had been working, a derpy butterfly had landed on his shoulder, amusing itself by watching the proceedings. When West's work was done, he reached over, plucked it off of his shirt and stuffed it into his net.

She was mixing and mixing until she could mix no more out of concern for over mixing. With a bit of a huff, Levi settled the wooden spoon over her lap and crossed her legs, sitting back on her tail like it was a portable seat. Jack dangit, boil. I know ya'll heard me. Glancing around for West, Levi spotted the red haired demon fluttering about like a wild bear clawing at butterflies and grasshoppers. There was nothing in Halloween that could stop her smile. Out of respect, the tatzel seriously tried not to laugh out loud. It was an excruciatingly difficult task. If some chuckles made it out, it was completely unavoidable.
Bug catching, training in the woods barefoot,... West didn't seem to do these things that often. It was a novelty being able to see the usually so clean cut boil smeared by earth and stains. Her smile just got wider when he walked back over to her. A hole? .. ya'sure ya'll didn't make it yerself? Oh he was in a mood now; Levi would have gladly had a roughing with him over his frustrations but now was not the time. They were being challenged by brewing these bugs and that was what she'd see done.
Standing back up, Levi tugged at one side of West's collar, straightening and patting it down a bit simply out of amusement at his appearance. Wasn't like she'd never gone home looking similar before. This was really quite a refreshing view of the wrath demon. When he had to, he'd get his hands down in the dirt; good to know for the farming family ghoul.
Nodding her head over to the cauldron of her mixture, Levi didn't take up West's net, but rather offered for him to place the bugs into the bowl himself. Not'a bad job, boil. Looks like ya'got a fair few good ones. Go'on now, put 'em in. We still gotta put some FEAR inta'it n' mix'it all'up. Wooden spoon in hand, Levi placed it into the bowl as well so they'd be ready to stir.

He lowered his arm as she reached up to straighten his collar, his upper lip twitching in a silent snarl. "No. It was there th'whole time." West felt a bit exposed by her easy way with such friendly touchings, and even though he wanted to shrink back and look around, the boil remained still. Eventually, his snarl melted into a particularly nasty little grin instead. "I was blamin' you." As if she hadn't known.
He upended his bugs into the cauldron, extra beetle and all. "FEAR?" he asked, grabbing the spoon once she had let it go. West prodded the butterfly carcasses first, then paid special attention to drowning the critters he had left alive. "These gnomelings better 'preciate this crap." Especially if Moira had instructed them to use FEAR. The idea made him a little nervous, and those nerves made him want to get things over with as soon as possible. Nothing... strange... had happened during Malcolm's class all those months ago, but things were different now. He relented, taking a quick look around the area before turning back to the cauldron. No pumpkins. Everything would be fine. West kept his eyes on their mixture as he fed some FEAR into it. He stirred the slop, then rested the spoon back where it had been.
