Stat rolls are 4d6, drop the lowest number. Only the highest of the three numbers get added.

The reason you reroll all the 1s is to try to get lucky by getting higher numbers. So based on the rerolls you got, that "1 3 1 4" became "6 3 4 4"

In the first version of the set, you would drop one of the 1s, but in the new version of the set, you would drop the 3. So your original score of 8 magically turned into a 14.
