((my deepest apologies for not posting. Life kept getting in the way. I am not giving up on this rp though. So to clear up, the Volvagians were just leaving. The prince and princess are still in the room meeting for the first time. Hikaru you were with Boris in wherever though it appears he dropped out as such you can be wherever you feel most appropriate. With that said I will post now))

MommiiDearest Xaundellyn held herself still as he approached, and she smiled, "Good Morning," She answered as she stood. When he sat, she too sat and, smoothing out her dress, folded her hands on her knees and watched Maverick for a short time. "I am Princess Xaundellyn, but You may call me Fawn if you'd like." There was an intensity in her dark chocolate eyes as she spoke, she was excited about this meeting. As excited as she was nervous, but one would never be able to tell she was nervous. Maverick smirked and said "Such an interesting name. I've heard that Elven names usually have some signifcant meaning behind them. Might I ask what yours is? I believe for the sake of not butchering your name I will simply call you Fawn." His eyes remained locked on hers. He was trying to maintain a calm aura to hide his anxiousness.

(Posting from phone)
Xaundellyn smiled and told him "It means 'spring' or 'the lake'. Does your name have a meaning?" As she spoke she found herself becoming more relaxed.

Maverick smirked, "It means rebel. Which I suppose there is a twinge of irony seeing as I'm a prince." He chuckled lightly. "May I ask, and feel free to choose not answer, but how do you feel about this forced marriage?"

She thought for a moment and then her delicate shoulders lifted in a shrug. "I have known since my youth that I would marry do too my parents wishes, not for love. I was born a princess and we get no such luxeries, but mother promises that if the husband is good love will come in time. So I do not worry about being married off to someone I do not know, I simply worry that I will not make you happy." Xaundellyn reclasped her hands on her lap and smiled.v"and how is it you feel, my rebel?"

Maverick just listened to her and looked amused "You truly worry about that. How sweet." He thought and said "I think it's unfair that we are being forced. It is nothing against you, as I feel it is just unfair to you that you are being forced into marrying me. I feel we should have the right to chose like anyone else." He shrugged. "Alas it is not so."

((OOC: Been a while since I posted, but really have nothing to do, so... *generic post indicating that Atahlea is still standing just outside the door doing her guard thing, being polite and not listening in even though she kinda wants to*))

Xaundellyn gave a small little frown before her face smoothed and she asked, "Is there someone else you wish to marry?"

Maverick shook his head and said "No. Marriage has not crossed my mind till recently. I'm still young, not really ready to settle down. I desire to go exploring still." He smirked for a moment and said "Would you care to join me?" He stood up and headed over to the window. "Let's go for a little adventure? What do you say?"

She looked down at her clothing and knew she should decline. Xaundellyn looked at the prince and knew that it was important she didn't. So ever the diplomat, xaundrllyn moved forward and grasped both sides of the window pane. "I thought you'd never ask." And then xaundellyn heft one leg over and slipped outside. Less gracefully than she had imagined, the princess landed on her rump and let out an oof before laughing.

(*Surprise entrance* ninja )
Raine found some nice combination of flowers from the garden and place them in the princess' room. She took her time arranging them in the vase since she knew that she had time to kill. Being a guest here didn't give her a lot of room to do much, especially any of her own duties.

((Yay!! Hikaru!! biggrin Glad you're still with us biggrin )) Maverick smirked and said "Only slightly. Don't worry, it's a learned profession." He chuckled as he helped pull her up. "Just follow me, I know a very wonderful place." Maverick lead Xaundellyn through a nearby forest, winding down a hidden path that opened up into a beautiful hidden oasis. "Welcome to one of the few hidden treasures of my kingdom" He waved his hand in a gesture towards the oasis.

Atahlea couldn't hear anything. The murmurs had stopped. She gave it a moment, then another, then sighed and opened the door.
Oh what a surprise. The prince was already corrupting his new bride. Not bothering to curse his name (she would do so when she found him, after they were alone again), she walked to the open window, judged the jump. Not a long one at all. She should have thought of that and asked that they be moved upstairs or something. Ah well.
Smoothly, moving carefully to adjust for the lack of flexibility that came with her armour, Atahlea slid out the window and landed lightly on her feet. It didn't take too much effort to figure out where the prince would have gone--there were only five or six places she could think of.
There was also the handy fact that the princess's floor-length dress was leaving scuff marks in the dirt for Atahlea to follow.
Following the dress tracks, she started walking. Though she doubted he was in danger, she still moved quickly and smoothly, following the hidden trail.
((OOC: Will break there for the prince/princess to have some time to chat before Atahlea joins them.))
