Zel grumbled, but patted the Kitsune boil on the back with his tail. "Good job!" Honestly, he was really far behind the other boil, having still been trying to organize his components to his liking. Spurred on by the fact that the Kitsune was ahead of him, he rushed things a bit and got splashed for his troubles, hissing a bit - knowing that it might rash and welt up later if the Wolfsbane in the potion hadn't mixed in enough.
But it looked like the potion was warming up nicely so maybe it was worth it.
Turning his head to Rosy, he chuckled. "So how is yours coming?"
Potion Mix Rolls 1st: 3: Well, you splashed yourself a little, but it looks like you managed to add them in a reasonable time frame. +5 degrees.
Potion Ingredients Hair from the tail of a 9-tailed Kitsune. An odd purple in color, though they tend to also be yellow occasionally. MAIN
Dragon Scales. A glimmering, iridescent mother-of-pearl color. Quite rare, but they're warm to the touch and smell fresh.
Wolfsbane. Highly volatile. Can cause a rash if not handled with the proper gloves.

Hissing as he adds his Kitsune hair way too fast Zel, grumbles as he realizes he's back to square one. "Focus... Focus..." He mutters to himself, trying really hard to not lose his temper.

Forcing himself to calm down and focus did the trick, as after that Zel had no problems at all mixing and adding in his ingredients. It was almost as if he had been born to be a potions master!
Zel knew otherwise however, as under the sea of resolve was a rage quit just begging to come roaring out of him at the first sign of failure.
This a good alchemist did not make.
"Jacking finally," he grumbled again, trying to perk up a bit for the other two around him he smiles at Rosy and Tavi in turn. "Sorry - I get grouchy if I think I'm failing."
Failure was not to be tolerated - EVER.

Rosy blinks a couple minutes at the different reactions from both the boils she was seating with. Tavi who was excited, then Zel who blatantly got angry over messing up a few moments ago. This made her fall very quiet as she looks over her own ingredients for a moment, almost debating if she should actually keep going. With a long sigh, she adjust her goggles as she gets to work.
Quickly dropping the Hound's Tooth, followed by the Kirinni Bones, she squeaks as it splashes out of the cauldron. Shew chews on her bottom lip, instantly fearing that she would be covered in rainbow colors all over again.
Lifting out of her seat just a little, she checks the stewing ingredients only to sits back when she see that everything seem to be okay. This was good, maybe she would actually be able to do this.
Her red eyes turn to Tavi and Zel, seeing they seem to have finish. For now, she forgets about them and continues with her own potion.

After allowing the potion to heat for a few minutes longer, Rosy drops the final ingredient into it, only to actually yelp when it splashes once more out of the cauldron. Her eyes going wide, as she attempts to figure out what she did wrong this time. Tapping her fingers in a nervous manner against the desk, she lifts once more to look into her cauldron.
"Please be fine...don't blow up in my face..."
Looking into it, she smiles before she relaxes altogether. It was perfect, her potion seem to be perfect. Looking to Tavi and Zel, she giggles as she nods to them "Looks like I was able to create my own potion, with a small amount of mistake." she beams at them both before turning her eyes back to watch over her potion.
She could so this, and she would tease Spinar later about missing out on this class.
