Archermon was glad for this, and actually transformed back to Shiro, who looked positively exhausted, but he did reload Garandoumon and went off to the side while Anubimon was doing his work, and proceeded to work with Garandoumon to get a large Void Field set up, and then once he jumped into the middle of the field, he created a permanent fixture of his Reality marble with the full chant. (not going into details here since it'd take far too long) and set the speed of it's innate time as well "phew... okay, i have the Reality Marble set up properly now, so if anyone needs long time to rest, head on in, it'll allow anyone in or out that's an ally, at least. if enemies get too close i've already set up a bounded field that'd use the weapons within the reality marble to fire A and S rank Broken Phantasm weapons at non-allies."he called out, meaning Xros heart and Blue flare could rest much easier in there and be ready to go.
Tsukiyomon had frowned, letting Jake's digimon handle the rest of the cleanup as well as Gene, he had whistled for Behemoth who had brought Impmon and Dracmon on over to the others while he walked over, transforming back to Roveth mid step given he was -huge- before appearing normal, and completely slumping over onto Behemoth just as it drove up "so tired...." he mumbled, lookign like a sloth at the moment. Impmon and Dracomon both chuckled/cackled in their own way before Dracmon spoke up "ne, Hikari-aniki... why haven't you fully joined the fights yourself?" while this actually caught Shiro off guard, he sweatdropped lightly "well, as much as i -want- to fight directly, at the time i couldn't in case we needed my Reality Marble given we didn't have time for me to set up the permanent version." he took a breath as Impmon responded "well, now that you've made it for us, are you going to fight?" Shiro of course blanched, and pondered that notion himself while roveth groaned" oi... lay off Hikari-no-baka... he's.. what Skull Graildramon is after, so we can't just let him go in full steam like Jake or Xros heart or Crystal...."
Gene as black Magnamon nodded as he landed nearby Crystal, though he was still full of energy, he didn't have as much as he did when he was overflowing from the Queen Device, so he wasn't glowing as much at least "we all have our methods of helpign winning this fight, wether it be mind raping, bombarding from a distance, overkilling, or simply being support." he said, punctuating what everyone had been doing so far "fighting is just one aspect of this war we have to do..."
Jake nodded while he watched Marine angemon float on over and began healing Shiro some more of his exhaustion and all while summoning a can of Digi-Noir from his Xros Loader, and popping it open to eat "i'm wondering though what Skull Graildramon will have in store for us next given that we've done well so far, my... presence outburst nonwithstanding." he said, while Lucia landed as BlackWarGreymon and responded hey, your presence is sometimes a life saver you know jake, it wouldn't kill you to unleash it again." Jake of course flinched, and shook his head "best if i didn't, i probably shook everyone up when i did it because of the chaos generals... probably best if i don't force our friends to handle the presence again."

Xros Heart and Blue Flare entered Shiro's Reality Marble to rest off their fatigue from the long, drawn out battle while Crystal remained outside until Anubimon was done resetting all the data of the fallen digimon into Digitamas and returned to her Xros Loader after degenerating back into Labramon. Seeing all the newly created Digitamas made Crystal feel a little less guilty about slaughtering Skull Graildramon's army, but she knew this batch here was unlikely to be the end of it so it was only a temporary relief. Perhaps they could get some insight into what Skull Graildramon was really planning by taking this opportunity to talk to the subordinates that had been captured during the battle. When Crystal finally wandered into Shiro's Reality Marble she would undoubtedly seem distant as she gazed down at the screen of her Xros Loader with Aegisdramon, Boltmon, and Hi Andromon highlighted.
"Now, which of you three can tell me why Skull Graildramon is raising such a huge army?" she asked seriously.
"It was foretold by our lord, Graildramon, that invaders from another world, one ruled by a wicked and ruthless demon king, would come to threaten the peace of our world," answered Boltmon.
"And soon enough, your group arrived with strange foreign digimon with unusually destructive capabilities," added Hi Andromon. "We had no choice but to defend ourselves."
Crystal frowned while thinking, These digimon have been misled to believe that we're the invading army.
"You lot attacked us!" Strabimon's image flashed onto the screen as he snapped at the two captured ultimates.
"Indeed," Aegisdramon spoke up. "It's strange. Lord Graildramon ordered our unit to strike in the event that the newly revived Chaos Generals should happen to fail him and when they did we were left with no other choice but to fight, but then you 'digimon hunters' spared some of our lives by capturing us and then you used your own power to summon Anubimon to resurrect our fallen warriors. And our lord, Graildramon, hasn't always been so militant. It seems like something dark has tainted him. During our battle, I sensed no evil from you or your fellow warriors."
"Right, just so long as we're clear on that," Strabimon decided to back down for the time being since Aegisdramon, at least, seemed to know his place.

Shiro just stared impassively off into the distance while listening in on the conversations, but internally he seemed to be seething quite a bit, not because of of having to fight digimon that are innocent, but because they were being misled so badly, it made his blood boil a bit to the point where a slight aura came over his four tails and started letting themselves be known or seen ~dammit... this is exactly the kind of crap i'd have to deal with on Shinramon if he wasn't already done and gone!~ he grumbled mentally in his head while getting sweatdrops from his tenants a moment, while they worked to calm Shiro down internally, externally he sighed a bit "Mendokuse-na... so basically SkullGraildramon is duping everyone in this plane that we're bad guys.... that sounds about right for my luck." he commented offhandedly, not showing his boiling anger over it, but if one looked at his eyes they'd probably tell he's miffed over it.
Jake just glanced to Shiro from the corner of his eye as he shook his head before speaking up given he had his own Xros Loader up and looking toward his captures "we aren't bad guys, in fact, one of our group has an inherent connection to Graildramon and we were simply trying to protect -ourselves- by coming to find out -why- Graildramon attacked our world as a test." he said, obviously not using SkullGraildramon's true identity since Shiro had less tact it seems.
Gene just shook his head before moving to sit down himself a bit, opting to even out his energy flow and work to holding his perfect level as long as possible while he spoke up "Jake is right, we mean no real harm. well... most of us at least, Roveth's a bit.... off in the head, so if he's able to justify self defense or defense of allies, he -will- be a merciless arch-b*****d." this caused Roveth to smile from his spot of hanging over Behemoth while Gene continued "nevertheless, we do want to help and find out if we can pull the darkness away from Graildramon."
Roveth himself just closed his eyes, and instead talked in mumbling incoherencies to Dracmon, who nodded, as if being given orders, before disappearing back within Roveth's Xros Loader, reappearing with bakemonz, soulmonz, and other digimon of his network and had them fan out in a scouting perimiter, with Mummymon and Metal Fantomon joining in leading the patrols with Dracmon. ExoGrimmon had reverted to Grimmon, and Arkadimon had also reverted from Super Ultimate back to child stage, to rest as well.

"But what's strange is that when Ragnamon and Destromon attacked the city in the human world and called it a test, they never mentioned Graildramon," noted Crystal. She wondered if maybe they had been conjured up the same way as the Chaos Generals, possibly being direct subordinates of Skull Knightmon.
"Unfortunately, no one is really certain what our lord, Graildramon, is thinking lately," noted Hi Andromon.
"Things started to change in our world when Graildramon imprisoned the Royal Knights chosen by Yggdrasil within the Dark Area after Gankoomon defected and began attacking our armies," added Boltmon.
"Gankoomon was the one who saved us from the Mugendramonz the first time we arrived in this digital world," noted Crystal. "Did anyone ever stop to wonder what caused him to defect away from Graildramon in the first place? I mean, doesn't it seem strange for a group of digimon that have sworn to defend this world with their lives to suddenly be imprisoned because one of their number is refusing to serve under Graildramon?"
"Not especially," answered Boltmon. "It has been widely regarded that the Royal Knights were imprisoned because they were plotting to use this war as a means to overthrow our lord, Graildramon, to appoint a new king."
"Well that answers something at least," Crystal commented. She glanced at Taiki, who was still passed out on Akari's Pilomon, and thought of Shoutmon who was resting in Taiki's Xros Loader. So, Graildramon was this digital world's Digimon King. That certainly explained why Graildramon's forces were so keen to obey him without question. But wait, there was something about all that that didn't add up. "So, where exactly does one go to have an audience with Graildramon?"
"Our lord, Graildramon, relays his thoughts telepathically so there is no reason to seek an audience with him," answered Aegisdramon. "However, rumor has it that Graildramon sleeps at the heart of the digital world."
"So then none of you has ever actually seen Graildramon?" asked Crystal.
The pixelated images of Boltmon, Hi Andromon, and Aegisdramon all looked to each other for confirmation.
"No, actually, we haven't," Aegisdramon spoke up again.
A metallic cackling came from within Crystal's Xros Loader as the image of Hi Chaosdramon filled the screen. "Bwahahahaha! Think about it, what kind of a sovereign deity doesn't want to be worshiped and admired by his loyal subjects? And, even more impressive, Skull Knightmon has managed to possess Graildramon without arousing any suspicion! All those naive losers are so stupid it's priceless."

Gene had paused in his keeping an eye out, and turned right to Crystal's Xros Loader "Crystal.... let Hi Chaosdramon out. jerks like him only respond to one thing: Force. so let me beat some common decency in him." he said, his black golden light turning to pure black flames not unlike Amaterasumon's own flames as he growled, his anger apparently steadily growing when he has to deal with bastards like him. "it's bastards like him that give Digimon a bad name... and i will -not- tollerate it coming from anyone, especially if they're on Crystal's team." he said coldly, showing he was -not- a happy Black Magnamon at the moment, especially since he had to be the mediator between the Nerima Wrecking crew, and dealing with the jackasses amongst the group made him -very- short on patience with that kind of thing.
Shiro of course raised an eyebrow, but mentioned nothing while he heard a commotion in his own Xros Loader, and sure enough, he saw Tactimon also subduing the Hi-Chaosdramonz that he himself had caught, and now vaguely wondered -why- he caught two... oh, right, he was going to -try- to motivate Tagiru into acting more maturely using the second one as a go-to goal and prize. either way, things were not looking up within his Xros Loader, though he was glad it was not as loud as it could be in there.
Roveth of course opened an eye balefully hearing Crystal's Hi Chaosdramon and Gene's response, and gave off a frown a bit lightly "so one has to try and telepathically gain audience with Graildramon Directly.... so it'll probably be next to impossible to get Skull Knightmon to show himself by using shiro as bait... damn." he grumbled and got off Behemoth, before using a slumped gait as he walked into the Reality marble to get some rest.
Jake just rolled his eyes, and summoned his own hi Chaosdramon, and looked to Lucia and Lemina "target Practice, he's the dummy." he said calmly with a bit of mirth as the two warp evolved to Ultimate, and began using that particular Hi Chaosdramon as target practice and trying to reprogram him through force as well "either way, is there a chance that Graildramon might show himself in battle if we keep fighting and winning?" he decided to ask the cooperative ones of the captured groups.

"Alright then, he's all yours," Crystal nodded and held up her Xros Loader. "Reload, Hi Chaosdramon!" The huge machine digimon materialized and Crystal decided it was fine to just leave Gene to it, although she was a little bit tempted to swipe a Power Limiter card to restrict Hi Chaosdramon's capabilities.
Crystal had gotten some valuable information from conversing with the captured digimon from Skull Graildramon's army so while Gene took care the problem digimon, Hi Chaosdramon, Crystal settled down to actually get some rest now that she had a better idea of what they were dealing with.
Kiriha was having far less difficulty handling his own captured Hi Chaosdramon because all he had to do was leave it to Deckerdramon using his power as a guardian deity of love to influence Hi Chaosdramon's core programming to make him a more loving and cooperative individual. Sure, it seemed weird, but Kiriha had learned to trust Deckerdramon the hard way so he didn't really question how it worked.
Still, the situation was even more dire than any of them had thought initially. The fact that this world's Royal Knights, with exception of Gankoomon, had been imprisoned in the Dark Area for their alleged treachery against Skull Graildramon was going to make the battles to come that much more difficult because the only allies the chosen children might have had in this particular digital world weren't fairing any better than they were. However, there was one other being that might still be able to help them.
"It looks like the only way for us to get close to Graildramon is to find this world's incarnation of Yggdrasil," noted Crystal. "Of course, we'll have to hope that this Yggdrasil is a more benevolent god than some of its other incarnations in other iterations of the digital world."

Gene had nodded a bit, as Hi-Chaosdramon seemed to regained his senses a moment and tried to attack with Chaos crusher, only for the Black Magnamon to suddenly appear behind crystal with his back turned, and his body starting to glow ominously as his black body slowly turned blood red in fur, and his eyes switching from a calm visage to one of utter fury and anger, before using his free arm to reach forward, and then thrust back the elbow to cause a nice dent in Hi-Chaosdramon's armor, before leaping up, spinning around, and -literally- lambasting Hi-Chaosdramon in the face with a Roundhouse kick, expertly sending him flying right into the Reality marble's barrier and vanishing into the marble itself, before he gritted his teeth, and spoke up with -barely- restrained fury "i'll... be a few moments." he said with his voice barely controlled, before he turned, and literally -LAUNCHED- with a mini sonic boom right into the Reality marble, tackling straight into Hi-Chaosdramon, and sending them rocketing to the far edges of the reality marble so as to not disturb Xros heart and Blue flare, but they'd easily see the shock-waves and small blasts of energy and explosions from their particular area in the marble, as the two duked it out, though it was more like a one sided slaughter with Gene's focused Fury not to mention the fact he literally ripped off his armor as black Magnamon and actually caused them to fuse together and form a large cannon not unlike the Hyper Mugen cannonz on Hi-Chaosdramon's back, and proceeded to charge the energy into it as he disappeared, and slammed the cannon into Hi-Chaosdramon like a baseball bat, and proceeded to roar out "EXTREME JIIIIIHAAAAAADDDDDDD!!!!!!" before firing the blast which crispified Hi-Chaosdramon and forced it back into Crystal's Xros Loader, burnt, melted a good few places, and with swirls in his eyes.
Shiro literally winced when he felt the clashes, mainly because they were in his own soul, but he just sweatdropped when he saw a light burst out and into Crystal's Xros Loader again, but said nothing on it as he shook his head "Yggdrasil... i think it's going to be probably 70/30 chance of it being -bad-, with our noted luck." he decided to say, given he knew how many times Yggdrasil and such was corrupted, errored, so on, to where it was in the 'realms' of evil but not truely evil like some of the digimon they've met "however, if we -are- going to find Yggdrasil, then we need to find this Gankoomon, since i don't know if we can try to hack into the dark area to release the Royal Knights from there."
Roveth... was sleeping ,and Jake was just watching Lucia and Lemina beat down Hi-Chaosdramon with long range attacks in amusement.

Considering all the punishment Crystal's Hi Chaosdramon had taken from Gene it probably wasn't going to be inclined to mouth off again for quite some time.
Crystal brought out some containers of Digi Noir from her Xros Loader to give to Gene now that he was finished venting his frustration on Hi Chaosdramon. The other digimon inside Crystal's Xros Loader were able to help themselves so she didn't have to worry too much about making sure they all got fed, particularly so long as Zeromon was preferring to sleep off her fatigue rather than stuff her face to speed up her evolution back into Zapmon. Frankly, she'd done more than enough pigging out at the wish granting shop the night before so she wasn't especially hungry right now anyway.
"We'd have to find Gankoomon anyway since only the Royal Knights are given access to Yggdrasil's domain and he's the only one we know for sure hasn't been imprisoned," noted Crystal. "Our own digimon won't be able to take us there since they weren't chosen by this world's Yggdrasil."
That said, Crystal brought up the holographic display on her watch to bring out some camping supplies, specifically a stack of sleeping bags, one for herself and the rest for anyone else who wanted one. "Once we get caught up on rest, we can start searching for Gankoomon. I'm gonna try to get some sleep since I need to keep my stamina up to continue empowering my digimon when we get attacked again."
Kiriha, meanwhile, had taken Nene, Akari, and Zenjirou aside for a more serious discussion.
"I'm not sure how much we're really helping by being here," he spoke with obvious frustration. "Even fighting the Bagra Empire, we've never dealt with these kinds of enemy numbers before. And traveling with such a large group is going to make sneaking around unnoticed difficult."
"Are you suggesting we split up?" asked Akari.
"Are you insane?" added Zenjirou.
"I'm saying, maybe we should reconsider our role in all of this," Kiriha tried to explain. "It might be better for us to return to the human world to keep an eye on things there in case Skull Knightmon decides to send more forces to attack the city."
"You know you're only saying that because you're concerned about Taiki," noted Nene. "And he's going to be fine once he gets some rest."
"But still, how long do you really think we'll be able to keep this up?" Kiriha persisted. "The situation here is a whole lot worse than we anticipated. And it'll only get worse the closer we get to Skull Graildramon."
"Don't worry about it Kiriha," Taiki had regained consciousness. "I'm sure we'll manage to figure something out."

Shiro nodded a bit as he also took out a can of Digi-Noir himself, not as hungry, but he knew he needed something at the moment while pondering their options as he nodded "i figured our digimon that are capable of being knights can't help, and yes i did entertain the notion of actually trying to Gate Hack into the Dark Area to get the other Royal Knights out, but without the proper address to this world's Dark Area and the proper virus cores that's a nil cause." he said while watching as Gene came out, still Black Magnamon but looking a lot more tired, as his fur was halfway from it's red rage state back to normal black and diminishing.
Gene accepted the digi-Noir in thanks as he sat down to eat, sighing "well, on the Gankoomon thing.... i guess our best guess is for someone who has tracking capabilities to lock onto his trail somehow and we follow that, otherwise we'd probably have to wander the world until we find him or Skull Graildramon makes his next move."
dracmon had spoken up since he had reappeared from Roveth's loader and all, while Impmon went to go search for something that he had seen amongst the piles of data "ne... i'd look for Gankoomon if i could, but Aniki's currently still out of it due to using as much energy as he did, so i can't evolve into Sangloupmon just yet..." he seemed distracted though when he saw Impmon digging into a crater near where the chaos generals had finally fallen, and stuck a hand out holding the Darkness Loader Crimson had "Ah-hah! found it!" he called, while slowly pulling himself out to get himself back to the others, leading to Dracmon's sweatdrop despite the little manic giggle.
Jake just finally recalled Hi Chaosdramon while Lucia and Lemina brought it in and returned back to human forms feeling better in making the Hi-Chaosdramon 'sit' in a sense while he spoke up "in that case, we should rest a bit longer before we wake Roveth up and get moving, as long as we're a moving target, we'll probably make it easier for us to get more time to recouperate."

Strabimon let himself out of Crystal's Xros Loader while Gene and Dracmon were discussing how they were supposed to track down Gankoomon. "We could always send the Renamonz to scout for him. You know, when they aren't acting all lovesick and fawning over Shiro, Renamonz are some of the stealthiest digimon around since they can travel undetected through the shadows with ease."
When Crystal woke up from her nap an hour so later, Zeromon had managed to regain enough energy to evolve into her baby 2 form of Psycmon. She quickly took advantage of her newly regained limbs to start pigging out on containers of Digi Noir now that she was feeling more awake again. It was still going to take some time for Psycmon to recover enough to evolve back into Zapmon, but she felt much better actually having arms and legs, not to mention hands and feet. In the meantime, Crystal would have to rely on her other digimon in battle, but since she was feeling reasonably well rested, given the circumstances, she was fairly confident they would be able to manage just fine.
Taiki had been urged by the rest of Xros Heart as well as Kiriha to get some more rest in the meantime since none of them wanted to risk him collapsing again, although Taiki insisted he was fine, especially when there was no telling what else they would be going up against once they left the relative safety of Shiro's Reality Marble. Unlike the chosen children, they had never encountered any incarnation of Yggdrasil so none of their group, with the possible exception of Wisemon, knew anything about the mythical god of the digital world's host computer. From the sound of it, though, they were probably going to be in for a fight if and when they found it. And, even before that, there was going to be the issue of tracking down Gankoomon to get them there. Gankoomon had already helped them once before, but finding him while avoiding Skull Graildramon's forces wasn't going to be easy.
"We should probably get a move on since we don't know how much time we'll have before we have to contend with another wave of enemies," Crystal spoke up as she started putting away her camping supplies. They probably wouldn't be able to find Gankoomon without fighting off another ambush, but it would be nice if they could. Depending on its programming, Yggdrasil was either going to be totally benign or it might be an even bigger pain to contend with than any of Skull Graildramon's forces. If they ended up having to fight Yggdrasil, they were going to want plenty of energy so they could beat him.

Shiro just blinked at the mention of the Renamonz, and then slowly filled up till he was redder than a tomato, and sputtering a bit coughing "uhm... right... good idea! uh... i think i'll.. do that over here..." he of course then went behind a nearby rock formation to quickly do that, but also after that and quickly getting them out and such to start searching, with one staying behind in the Xros Loader for the moment, it took Shiro a few minutes to 'calm himself' down from his embarrassment reminder of his own thrice-damned memories "right! now then.. ano..." of course, he started twiddling his figers and poking them together a bit while his fox ears had actually shown up from his lack of illusion concentration, and they were wibbling about cutely.
Roveth meanwhile was slapped awake by Impmon, grunting a bit as he woke up "ugh... so what--" Impmon filled him in with a few sentences, and proceeded to get him into a sitting position on Behemoth before he handed the Darkness Loader he found to him ,and disappeared into Roveth's regular Xros Loader, Dracmon doing the same as he blinked a bit, before looking at the Darkness Loader "... the heck? isn't this that weird Xros Loader that Crimson had?" he just shrugged, and put it in his pack for now, he'll figure it out later when they were on the move.
Jake of course nodded, and summoned Duftmon Leopard mode for his method of travel, so Lucia and Lemina wouldn't get worn out flying in their Perfect or Ultimate forms. "oi, Shiro, don't forget to get your ride." Shiro blinked, and started going red again, before quietly getting Dorulumon to be his ride too as Jake shook his head, and proceeded to look over to Gene, who seemed to be much more charged at least.
Gene nodded a bit and floated up lightly "i can carry you if need be Crystal, otherwise i think i'll be a low flier just in case to keep an eye out from above." he said in amusement, apparently his anger and rage completely left behind him, well, more like on Hi-chaosdramon's head after the beating he gave him within the Xros Loader.

Shiro raised an eyebrow when he heard the news, ignoring the rising blush on his face while nodding a bit, and proceeding to tell the Renamonz to stay nearby and following, while he had the one how gave him the report stay atop Dorulumon with him to point out the direction, granted, when said Renamon did so and snuggled against Shiro's back his blush went into nitro boost while sputtering and such in incoherent babbles a bit, causing Jake and Roveth to laugh at his reactions.
Gene just shook his head and such while readying himself for another fight, granted this was against ultimate levels, he'd rather stick to his current form if there was any cannon fodder., though he had to sweatdrop at Shiro's actions about his female digimon and all. granted he was thankful for not being a part of that crazy mess.
Roveth was currently trying not to laugh his head off at Shiro's predicaments as he shook his head and followed everyone via Behemoth, given he had recalled his digimon and all. granted he was more distracted in a way of having a serious look on his face while pondering the Darkness Loader in his posession, given he wondered what he could do with it, and if he could tinker with it a bit if he needed to.
Jake? well, he was chuckling while riding on Duftmon Leopard Mode as he shook his head in amusement at Shiro's problems, before looking over to Crystal "i feel sorry for Shiro some days, i think that whole mess at Banchou Hitsuzenmon's place has left him unable to handle his own feelings for his harem and all." he said with a chuckle, while Lucia and Lemina both giggle as well from within Jake's Xros Loader.

"I think Shiro just needs time to let it all sink in," Crystal responded as she switched on her Mechanorimon's boosters to launch into the air while using the control sticks inside the cockpit to stabilize its flight path, making sure to stick reasonably close to the others. Shiro wasn't the only one who still felt awkward about certain aspects of his personal life, although his antics with his harem were certainly a bit more over the top than Crystal's confusing relationship with Taiki. Unfortunately, we don't really have that luxury right now so Shiro is just going to have to tough it out and not let all that blood rushing to his face at the slightest mention of his Renamonz slow him down in battle too much.
Tailing the trio of Cherubimon (Vice), War Greymon X, and Metal Garurumon X was actually fairly easy as even if Metal Garurumon X did pick the group up on his sensors, they weren't his intended targets so he made no mention of that they were being followed. When the three digimon got within range of where they could actually see Gankoomon, who was simply waiting idly in an open field at the edge of a shallow lake, Metal Garurumon X took the lead position and opened fire with all of his weapons at once using his Garuru Burst technique to ensure at least a few solid hits. War Greymon X took the opportunity to gather atmospheric energy into a giant molten fireball between his Dramon Killer gauntlets and then launched his Gaia Force into the center of Metal Garurumon X's bombardment zone to increase his own likelihood of actually landing a direct hit. Cherubimon (Vice) used Heaven's Judgement to call down a multitude of red, demonic looking lightning bolts to rain down on Gankoomon as well.
The whole thing started so fast that Xros Heart and Blue Flare had barely even started to react while Crystal had landed her Mechanorimon so she could pull out one of her recently acquired Device Cards to give Gene's Black Magnamon form a decent power boost while holding up her Xros Loader to swipe it through. "Looks like we're running interference. Card Slash! Bishop Device!" Then, while she was at it, she spun the dial to highlight the Fan Beemonz. "Black Magnamon, Fan Beemonz, Digi Xros!" The Fan Beemonz would give Gene all the power of Tiger Vespamon to transform him into his X Antibody variant.

Gene had let out a roar as he launched up into the sky with the fanbeemonz flanking him, spiraling around the armored digimon until they cried out "Black Magnamon! Fanbeemonz! Digi-Xros!" when the coalescing orb came together, it was shown to have Black Magnamon in his X varient alright, but he didn't seem too happy, in fact, his black parts of his body was slowly starting to go red as he roared out "Black Magnamon X!" he then tore off some of the spikes as his black fur finished turning red, and energy launched out of them to form around the claws to become a cannon on his right arm "Plasma Blaze Cannon!" and begun firing a rapid blast of black fire white plasma shots at MetalGarurumon X while also sending a few to try and fry the payloads from the Garuru Burst technique.
Shiro himself had let his eyes become fully focused and slitted before nodding to Dorulumon who returned to the Xros Loader, letting himself skid as Renamon had landed as well in a tumble and joining the other eight that appeared around shiro, making him blush ,but he kept his mind on other things "reload, Gabumon! Tactimon!" with that the two appeared, as Gabumon began to glow, and Shiro's Xros Loader showed the infinity symbol within it "Gabumon! Chou Shinka!" he called out, creating the symbol out of the rings. Gabumon launched up as he was enveloped by the rings and his form being reconfigured rather quickly "Chou Shinka! Z'd Garurumon!" was called out as the metallic varient of Garurumon showed himself, and unleashed a massive "Z'd HOU!!!" as per the shout, and blasted at the Gaia Force directly since he knew he wouldn't have enough time to go for the final attack, and Shiro was not capable of blocking Cherubimon easily.
Jake and Roveth noticed the battle lines drawn, but they both looked at Cherubimon and shook their heads, given they had nothing to go against -that-, well, Jake -did-, but he wasn't so keen on sending Lucemon out to try and blast the b*****d with the fact that he didn't trust Lucemon should things go to hell. granted, Roveth did have an idea, but he shot it down immediately and looked to jake, the two nodded, before Roveth and jake jumped up and off their respective rides, before unleashing forceful kicks to Cherubimon to distract the angel from Gankoomon as roveth spoke up "oi, big purple and ugly, come get us if ya can, otherwise we'll keep annoying ya!" he called out while they landed on their rides, and drove away to get Cherubimon away from the others and allow Crystal to fight it separately since they had -no- desires to try and fight Cherubimon themselves, they just wanted to play distraction.
