Edward of course, was fully oblivious to the darker side of things going on in Xenotime at the moment, he was currently resting asleep against Al within the Jeep as Kuukyo had driven it into town. it made him look cute and peaceful sleeping like that, but eh, he's the 'pipsqueak' for a reason, to some people. in either case with his mind in lala-land, it was easy to see he'd need to be woken up soon.
Kuukyo meanwhile had been driving at a methodical pace, once they got to Xenotime, before moving to where they could find a place to park hidden by the masses, so he could usher the group out and transmute the jeep into his briefcase once more. "ara... seems we're here everyone." he said in a slightly chipper despite being bored, tone of voice, trying to snap people out of their sleep if they were.

Edward of course woke up after the shifting, nothing against the gentleness, it was more the combo of Kuukyo's voice and Al's moving that made edward yawn and sit up more, rubbing an eye lightly "mmnh... we're here?" he said tairedly, apparently not much of a 'morning/early riser' type of sleeper, as Kuukyo chuckled a bit "yes, edward, we're here in Xenotime." he said, having already switched to his travelling clothes once again while everyone was out of it, instead of his military uniform. Edward of course nodded, now starting to wake up a bit and got out of the jeep while proceeding to help get the luggage that wasn't Kuukyo's, he could get his own.

Alphonse, of course, grabbed his own overly large suitcase out of the jeep once he had climbed out himself. The contents of his suitcase was mainly just more luggage space for his brother, but it helped them to keep up appearances if he at least acting like a regular person traveling the countryside if he appeared to be carrying luggage along with him. Of course, most of what he carried were books and alchemical researching equipment since Alphonse didn't mind having to carry the extra weight.
Crystal, however, only grabbed her messenger bag to sling it over her shoulder as she climbed out of the jeep. She could just as well have carried her own suitcase, but seeing as Edward had volunteered to help out with the luggage as long as it didn't have Kuukyo's name tagged on it, Crystal wasn't really inclined to stop him.
"So, I guess if we really do find information on the Philosopher's Stone here in Xenotime, then we'll probably be wanting to stay awhile," Crystal realized as she waited for Edward and Kuukyo to finish unpacking the jeep.
"We should probably start by finding some living accommodations for while we're here," Alphonse readily agreed. He was glad to be traveling with someone sensible as worrying about finding a place to stay was often the last thing on his brother's mind where the Philosopher's Stone might be concerned. Some days the older Elric would simply collapse on the trail from exhaustion rather than stop to take a rest in a more appropriate setting.
