	Looking around, there's actually several of those 'trap' locked boxes. Yo teach, this isn't advanced lockpicking class you know... sighed Mahlan inwardly, searching for a 'normal' lock to open. Hrmm, this box will do. Doing the same thing with the another box, Mahlan picked the key carefully and patiently-clack, and she was rewarded with a small, purple-colored sto...wait. It looked like a precious stone, but Mahlan, being a plant at heart can differentiate the mineral composition of things-this isn't a true gemstone but rather an imitation one, made from staining glass. But still it's pretty! Lockpicking Picking Attempt: 9(success!) Treasure Gained: 6 Total Treasure: 12

	Now that she's mastered the basic lockpicking technique, the locked boxes scattered at her feet looks like a garden of (fake)treasures! Of course, she can get REAL treasures if there's a chance to do.... "Hmm, this box looks promising-" click-click-Clak! Aaand there it goes. Inside the box was a small white stone with glitter...was this supposed to be a diamond? The degree of fakeness can't be worse than this, she grumbled. Well, this should be enough for practice. Lockpicking Picking Attempt: 10(success!) Treasure Gained: 6 Total Treasure: 18

	Candlejack! Ignatius heard the click of another of Arrakis' boxes opening, and stared down at his box, still not opening for him because he was absolutely terrible at this whole lockpicking thing. He would get this thing open! Glaring over at Arrakis, though there was clearly no actual malice to the expression, Ignatius attacked his lock with a furor! It finally popped open, revealing two of the same thing. "Finally!" He went to grab a new box. Amasis Ignatius has _7_ treasure so far.

	He did duck his head a bit in playful guiltiness when he saw the not-actually-a glare that Ignatius threw his way for getting his box open. However, Arrakis grinned when he saw Ignatius manage to open his box. Alright! Ignatius was catching up! He went and snagged another box for himself, giving it a go, but somehow unsurprised when this one also failed to pop open on the first try. Okay, take the lockpicking tools... feel for the pins... He could do this... Seiana_ZI Arrakis has _9+0=9_ treasure so far.

	Perhaps he could keep up the momentum. Ignatius plopped his box down, not really caring about the fragility of anything inside of it. Mostly, he just wanted to get it open. A tool was grabbed and shoved into the lock. He could have swore he heard something, but the lock didn't budge. Candlejack... Amasis Ignatius has _7_ treasure so far.

	Ignatius wasn't the only one having trouble; Arrakis got the pick in, felt it tap against the pins, almost got it to unlock.... Only for it to sit there as if mocking him for thinking he could have opened it this time. He took a deep breath. Okay. He'd gotten really close that time. Surely he could get it the next time, right? ... Right? Well, only one way to find out. Seiana_ZI Arrakis I am disappoint Arrakis has _9+0=9_ treasure so far.

	The little yipping sound was cute in a way Tavi remembered himself doing it to several of his older brothers. Then again the kitsunes responses reminded him of self and Tavi winced at the verbal response that made no sense. Was this how his elder siblings felt? Heh. Fluffy red ears flicked and teals narrowed gently as his tails were snuggled into more. Strange kit. The thought was automatic, not meant in a bad way in the least and in fact even with how strange it was to be cuddled so soon in meeting Tavi didn't mind. He was a touchy boil, but it did warrant some teasing. "Ya like cuddlin or is it just me?" Grinning a hand went down and tweaked the tip of a large white ear to draw the smaller boils attention. 	Shiki's own fluffy tails wagged a bit as he sighed in happiness. Softness.. so warm... Oh.. uh.. He felt his ear tweaked and his silver eyes opened slowly. After a few blinks the boil gave a small but warm smile. "Soft..." He crooned nuzzling the tail again. Okay he sounded pretty simple minded now. Say something smart. "I like soft.." Yeah.. rocket scientist level there. "'m Aoe Shiki." His voice was a little muffled by the tail he was still nuzzling. He must look like a real freak. The pale kitsune finally lifted his head from the tail and blinked a few times as if finally realizing something was attached to the tail. "S-sorry.." He pet the tails gently, his large ears slowly folding back in fear. Fear or not though, he was still holding those soft tails. Cheekiebirdiee Shiki is a fluff nut, if it is soft and fluffy he will fall in love with it. ^^; He kind of claimed Tavi's tails.

	As Crimson kept poking around, their familiar kept getting his hopes up that Crimson's first box had just been a lucky break. Nothing to worry over, the blood mage was inept at this as they were for anything else and in general. This seemed to be proven true with another box, only this time, the reaper was left looking slightly forlorn at the box, muttering how close they were and how if only they had a bit better tools and could use magic they'd have gotten it open. The familiar didn't bother telling the blood mage that technically, they could, it just wasn't a very practical use of blood magic.

	Another box, a new box shiny and black and sounding like it had something very nice inside, was switched out, because it clearly was not the tools or Crimson that was having issues, it was the box and the lock that was broken.

	Crimson chose, as they failed on that box as well, to not get a new box, but rather, to keep working on the same one. Just with a highly different method. Which included asking they familiar to try and hold it while they attempted to pry it open. The familiar told them no, but they tried anyway. Still didn't work of course.
