James walked over to Tsukuyomi and gave a nod to Amaterasu before speaking to the young man.
"Hello I'm James, The Senior Medic here. If you don't mind, might I see the palm of your hand as a part of a medical inspection."
James held a hand out softly, but before he could get a response one of the Genin in the room had just finished as dramatic rant, and fainted over.
"Hold on a moment." James said, his hands moving as he walked over to the fainted youth. James biosense let him diagnose the ninja near instantly, perfectly calculating the dose for his weight, metabolism, and tolerance, and with a few ingredients from his pack, he had a syringe ready in less than a minute. James hauled back and slammed the syringe into the genin's heart and depressed the plunger, pouring epinephrine into his heart and veins. It would wake him near instantly, and cause a huge rush of energy as liquid fire poured through his veins.
James would then walk back to his conversation with Tsukuyomi, leaving the syringe in the genin's chest.

__ It would be a while between being summoned out of the ongoing match before Zhi arrived back at the observation stands. A soft thud could be heard as she distractedly walked into the door again. "Agh..." She gasped and rubbed her forehead with one hand while opening the door with the other. The cause for her distraction immediately retook her attention as she started to enter the room, causing her to rub her derriere in a moot attempt to relieve the deep stinging sensation. 'Mama was really mad to find out how I got back into the tournament.' Zhi wiped a small regretful tear from the corners of each eye. It stung more to lose her chance to prove herself to her family and friends, to be honest. However, deep down she knew that she would have more opportunities in the future.
As Zhi took the time to console herself she also took notice of the figures in the room. She didn't currently have the will to cause a big scene like usual, so instead she just wandered over to Taylor. As she walked through the room she also noticed Tetsuhiko laid out on the couch. Maybe he was sleeping? She wouldn't know. Zhi noted that her friend was currently talking to that Nari fellow they met back at the dojo's training grounds before. Obviously she hadn't caught any of their conversation to know exactly what was going on, so she'd just spryly greet her best friend, "Hi Taylor." Sadly, her tone was a little more dull than normal. The young man turned to look at the medic. His ears flicked with irritation as Amaterasu rose up. She looked at the man and stayed where she was. The young man spoke to James. "Do you think these are just for show?" He asked about his ears. "I don't care about your one hundred percent certainty. I don't know you and I don't owe you anything. But don't try to lie to me by omitting the truth." Tsukuyomi said when he turned his attention back to the fight. Watching how the girl with white hair practically made someone give up already.
Taylor appreciated the pragmatic nature of Suna squads. It made sense to assign them based on the situational needs, rather than pigeon hole people without any guarantee that there could be learning done from the partnership. The young boy definitely decided that he could learn further knowledge from Nariomi. "Mister Nariomi. If you would allow it, I would like to be your student." He said confidently. His confidence shattered, however, when he saw Zhi appear somewhat wounded. His eyes went down to the arena where not only did his best friend lose her match already, but Hikaru also fled the battle. Now it was only the two people he had no idea about. Taylor's young mind emptied when he rushed over to the girl. "Zhi!" He said very loudly as he stood in front of her and grabbed both of her hands. "Zhi, Zhi! Are you alright? Did you get hurt? I'm so sorry I don't already know. I got wrapped up talking to Mister Nariomi and..." He paused, his voice reflecting a bit of guilt. All the while, Horus was furiously pecking on the glass since the large bird could not fit into the room. The loud banging sound would be enough for anyone to be aware of, and for sleeping people to be annoyed awake.

Ayame gave a growl at the boy's comment to her mate and turned her eyes from the fight to. "You will watch your tone with a senior ninja. What I said was confirmation for me as all I have to go by is scent and sightwhen it comes to identifying people. But your biology can't change." Her eyes shifted to a brighter blue-green as she got in the boy's face. "Your biology is the same as my grandson's and that girl down there is the same as my granddaughter's. So whether you are family or not I am alpha here and James carries a much higher rank than you genin. Get over yourself." Daichi growled with Ayame although he had accepted the submissiveness of the female wolf, and he had loved Noriko and Tenshi the boy had overstepped.
Bast, in the midst of watching the tournament, raised an eyebrow when she spotted Knives at the edge of the arena. When things took a turn for the worse, her facial expression hardened and her wrist blurred. A moment later a seal hung in the air before her, and she just managed to slap it before the shockwave hit the observation deck. A barrier rose up just behind the glass of the windows, protecting the observers from a spray of glass shards as they were all shattered. She dismissed the barrier as soon as the immediate danger had passed, looked toward Ayame, then stood up.
"Everyone attack! Those who can't attack, defend or support the others! Wear it down so we can seal it again! If we can't seal it, we'll kill the damn thing!"

The xplosion rocked here, but the feeling was familiar. She knew this type of feeling, this demonic chakra; once again they were having a bijuu problem. Sonyo turned on her heel and without missing a beat ran off to make her way to the arena. She would not sit idly by, not this time, not while everyone fought. No she would fight too, fight for her village and her people. She would do her best, and she would win, and she wouldn't let anyone die like they had in the Choumei attack.

Ayame looked back over at the fight trying hard to reel in her anger. Why did some have to act in such a way? Daichi and Ayame both tilted their heads as they saw Knives go to the edge of the arena. She lifted her hand to wave at him before slapping both hands over her ears as Shukaku roared and exploded from Knives. She didn't see the look from Bast. Ayame and Daichi stopped breathing. Tears escaped their eyes as the chord that had been there for years was snapped taut. Daichi let out a pained howl and Ayame wrapped her arms around herself as it felt like her heart shattered. She remembered fighting alongside Knives, how he had cared for her best friend, and how he had rescued her from San's VOID exam. Ayame let out a pained, ear shattering scream, as her bond with Knives was completely shattered and the chord was ripped from her. Those close to them would get a slight shock as she lost control of her chakra. Daichi stumbled towards her and they both fell to the ground. Darkness claimed them as the tears continued to fall. Why did they have to lose so many?

Horus continued to peck on the glass until he noticed something from the arena. With all of his strength the bird took off and flew upward in order to avoid the shockwave. As he soared through the sky the bird had a much more accurate idea of what kind of monster was below. His head turned to Taylor in the observation area. When he saw the child cower from the glass shattering, the bird flew straight forward toward the monster.
Meanwhile, Taylor picked himself up after the initial shockwave destroyed the glass. He was grateful that someone was able to protect him from the glass, and as he rose he noticed he also pulled Zhi down with her, using his body to cover her. "Heh, sorry about that." He said embarrassed. It was more instinct than anything. As he chuckled, however, his mind recalled Horus on the glass. Immediately the boy turned around and saw his friend fly toward the enemy. "HORUS!" He screamed. The boy immediately bolted from the observation area and ran toward the arena. Did Horus really think that he could fight it? Why would he do it alone?

►8 Ring Shattering: Rank: X Description: The Keihatsu's rings can separate themselves from the the staff they are attached to, they then grow up to an incredible size. Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. A Total of 40 Chakra For 8: Rings must be sustained whilst in flight.) The rings are then often intended to place a target in their vacant center and contract immediately to restrict the target. If any of the rings are broken the remains turn into a ball of spiritual light and return to the staff as a normal sized ring and is placed in a temporary recovery period (1 Post). If the Keihatsu is ever disarmed all currently floating rings fall to the ground and return to their normal size. The rings can also be used in conjunction with Shakujou styles if logical. The weaponized rings strength is equivalent to the user's amounted expended for stamina with Formless Style: Shakujou.

As the Mantra progresses a ring will detach itself grow to it's maximum size and then portray the chinese or kanji symbol of an element. When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.
