Ichi now moved on to Katon [ Fire ] techniques. "Katon: Ichi [ One ]." he said as he began to generate hit in the tip of his index finger. He used his charka to coat it and control to heat. He seemed to have gotten this simple skill on the first try and was rather happy with results. He than put his finger on some wood and ti began to burn. "Good.." he said as he released the jutsu.

He than moved on the the next technique than interested him. He quickly made the hand sign [ Rat ] while he was standing close to a dummy. He than looked at the dummy while being about three feet away. "Katon: Nenshou Ha: Ichi [ Burning Leaf: One ]!" he shouted as he exhaled a some burning leaves from his mouth at the dummies face. After which ichi wiped his mouth. "Perfectly done!" he said proud of himself at this point.

Moving through the Katon [ Fire ] scroll Ichi saw another skill he wanted to try out and began to make hand signs after setting the scroll down. "Katon:Houka Hira no Jutsu [ Flaming Palm Technique ]!" he said as he as a spark appeared in the palm of his hand. He began to palm thrust a dummy but the flame spark disappeared just before ichi made impact. 'Well I know I can get it..." he said with a slight sigh.

He than attempted the jutsu once more as he concentrated chakra and heat in the the palm of his hand. "Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu [ Flaming Palm Technique ]!" he said. This time his palm made full contacted the spark ignited. The dummy was sent back and upon looking at it. There was a burnt palm mark on the torso of the dummy. "This skill will come in handy..." Ichi said with a smile on his face.

Moving on to the next skill ichi began to focus chakra and heat into his index and middle fingers of his right hand. "Katon: Ni [ Two ]!" he said as he began to burn his fingers through a piece of rope. But only got about half way through. "Hm, this is a bit tougher than I though it would be..." he said as he stopped so that he could replace the rope metal threads. The than got back into position to attempt the jutsu again.

Ichi now attempted the Katon skill a second time. "Katon: Ni [ Two ]!" he said as he focused chakra and heat into his index and middle finger of his right hand. As he put it on the rope and metal threads he could see them burning and melting through. Suddenly a few seconds later he was all the way through. "This will be a great one to use in some certain situations..." he said with another grin on his face.

Now Ichi moved on the the clone technique. He quickly made hand signs and stopped on [ Monkey ]. "Katon: Yojin Bunshin no Jutsu [ Ember Clone Technique ]!". As the clone formed from heated ember. Ichi tried to remain focus but suddenly there was a slight slip in his focus and the clone simply dissolved to the ground into burn or still slightly burning ember. "Hm..." escaped Ichi. But it was not of annoyance, but of a confidence that he will get the next one.

Attempting again, Ichi made hand signs and stopped on [ Monkey ]. "Katon: Yojin Bunshin no Jutsu [ Ember Clone Technique ]!" he shouted as he focused his chakra. Suddenly ember formed an almost solid clone of Ichi and the two seemed to move in synthesis. "Perfect and ready for any battle I can use it in." Ichi said as he seemed to be impressed that it turned out so well. Better than he had first expected it to be.

Shi watched as Roku activated the first of the three gates and began to move much faster and with stronger strikes then he had previously. It was amazing really. All the more reason to catch up with hi,

She read the name of the next one on the list to learn. She was finally starting to get to the really good stuff. She put the scroll away and rubbed her palms together once more as she breathed out heavily in an attempt to get into focus once more. She held her hands out wide, her clothes billowing once more as thousand of the Kikaichū that called her body home flooded out of her and began the process of spinning around her in a quick motion. At first they did not seem to be going quick enough. So she expelled a little bit more chakra as an incentive for them to work harder. And work harder they did, spinning around her at intense speeds that would keep all but the most fierce of blows away from her technique and calling the bugs back into her body.

°•~ Roku was done for the most part. He was sweating and he could tell that the first gate would run out in a few moments. He didn;t want to activate any of the other gates in front of Shi. He wanted it to be more of a surprise for her. He was watching her for some of the time. He had seen her summon up the bugs around her, then pull them back in. Then his gates ended. He sat down, tired from the work out. He went over next to Shi and grabbed some water from his water skin.

He leaned against the wall and watched her closely. He wanted to regain his strength for a bit and allow her to train some more. Under scrutiny she might not do so well. Or she could do better. He was about to find out. ~°•

[Learning: Destruction Bug Drill]
There was one last jutsu on the list to learn. The Destruction Bug drill. This one was listed as a B rank. She sent a female bug to sit somewhere on or in Roku's clothing so that she would know where he was and he wouldn't get hit by this attack. She smiled once she had done that, breathing out softly to relax her muscles. She didn't have anyone to hit with this technique, although she wouldn't even if she could. Getting hit with this technique would eat away a persons chakra very quickly and even tear away at their flesh like it was nothing. So for the purposes of training she would simply imagine an opponent. She held both hands out, aiming straight at her imaginary enemy and firing out two large, two spear-like forms that spun towards the imaginary enemy. Catching it and lifting it into the air at which point the person, if there were one, would have it's chakra eaten really rather brutally as well as it's body if this were a real fight. She called the bugs back to her and thus ended her bloodline training.

Seeming a bit tired Ichi decided that he would take a bit of a break. As he did so he finally noticed the two other Genin in the academy. one seemed to be a bit scary looking and seemed to be really unapproachable. The Aburame girl seemed to look shy and distance. Not only that she also was busy training so bothering her was a no go. "Man..." was the only word that escaped his mouth as he scratched the back of his head. It was like that was nothing to do in here but train. Besides those two over there seemed to be close and he didn't want to ruin anything that may become a moment for them.

"Guess I will be back to training..." Ichi said with a sigh as he began to set up dummies again and get the into position to start his training again.

Ichi now began to work on the fireball technique. He began to make the need hand signs and stopped on [ Tiger ]. "Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ]! he shouted before inhale and than exhaling a large amount of flames from his mouth. It was a sudden burst of flames that made Ichi fall back a bit. He was not expecting something so large to come out of his mouth in the matter of seconds. It took his by shock at the power of the jutsu. But he was not going to let it happen again. He now knew that it was not a jutsu to use carelessly in training, sparring, or battle.

Ichi stood to his feet and once again began to make the needed hand signs before stopping on [ Tiger ]. "Goukakyuu no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ]!" Ichi shouted before inhaling a large amount of air. When he exhaled he released the powerful and large fireball from his mouth. The flames continued for a few minutes before they died down in an instant. Ichi was still blowing until the last bit of flames where gone from his mouth. He than took a relaxing breath in and than exhaled. "Powerful..." he said as he looked at his clenched fist.

Ichi now started to work on the next one. He began to work his hand signs before stopping on [ Bird ]. "Katon: San [ Three ]." he said as heat and charka flowed into the middle and index fingers of both his hands. They where just a bit hotter than Ni [ Two ]. Ichi's chakra control with the skill was greatly growing and seemed to be getting much better as time passed while training. 'It's getting better and better..." Ichi said to himself as he was getting a bit excited and couldn't wait to reach the max level of this skill. But just as it was getting started the technique stopped due to lack of chakra focus.

Ichi began to skill once more. He once again did the hand signs and stopped at [ Bird ]. "Katon San [ Three ]!" he said as the flow of heat and chakra into the index and middle fingers of both his hands where much stronger and more focused then the first time. "Now I got it..." he said to himself as he grinned abit. It was really starting to get exciting. He was getting a bit proud of himself to working so quickly in learning these jutsu.

Not wanting to waste any time he moved onto the next stage of the flaming hand skill. Ichi performed the needed hand signs and stopped at [ Boar ] this time. "Katon Shi [ Four ]!" he said. This time all his fingers on his right hand began to have heat and chakra flow. He quickly moved at a Dummy and gripped it. The dummies cloth like material began to burn and than ignite. But it only lasted a bit before Ichi's hand stopped generating the heat and the flow suddenly returned to normal. He hand to yank his hand from the burning dummy to keep himself from getting burn. "That was a close call..." he said shaking his warm hand.

Now with a relaxed posture, Ichi attempted once more. He did the needed hand signs and stopped at [ Boar ]. "Katon: Shi [ Four ]!" he than dashed at another dummy and appeared right in front of it. He hand his right hand flowing with heat and chakra already on the dummy's head. "I got you..." he said as he seemed to be wishing it was a really opponent so that he could use the skill more seriously. But he was more than excited to be using it in the first place at all.

Having learned everything from her Kekkei Genkai that she could for now, she decided to take a rest and do a little bit of meditation training.

She placed her hands together, breathing out and then in deeply once more. Once she was properly ralaxed she closed her eyes, focusing first upon the small shifts in chakra, shifting it one way and then back the other. The Kikkaichu beneath her skin weren't making it easy with their constant distractions. But either way she was managing just fine in her mind. She then began to work on increasing her chakra, flaring it and moving it in other directions quicker, more violently almost but also more refined, sharper almost. She made it dim and then flare several times over, gaining more and more control with every time she did it. Soon she was content that she had done it enough times. She allowed her chakra to rest once more, opening her eyes.

Shizuka continued her meditation training. She made a few hand signs to limber her hands up for the training that would come after. Clasping them together she focused intently, really going for gold this time. She started off by flaring her chakra as far as it would go, maintaining it that way until the Kikkaichu began to get restless from the massive wave of chakra. She lowered it as low as it would possibly before allowing it to regain it's natural level, feeling it flow through her body in that way that it did when she was feeling peaceful, at rest. She would occasionally speed it up before slow it down. She could swear that she could actually feel it running through the chakra network itself. She allowed it to gently flow, form, mold into shapes and then flow freely away once again almost as if nothing had ever happened.

Ichi now about to nearly finish up his Katon [ Fire ] Jutsu did not want to stop. He began to make more hand signs before stopping at [ Ram ]. "Katon: Goryuuka no Jutsu [ Great Dragon Fire Technique ]!" he said just before inhaling a large amount of air. He than suddenly while still holding the hand sings exhaled one large fireball in the shape of a dragons head. He attempted a second but burnt his mouth in the attempt. "Damn it..." he said as he rubbed his burn chin a bit.

He than went to his second try. It was still as hard as the first. He did the need hand signs and stopped at [ Ram ]. "Katon: Goryuuka no Jutsu [ Great Dragon Fire Technique ]." he said before inhaling air. He than exhaled and released a massive fireball in the shape of a dragons head again. This time he was able to get two to three off before he burnt his lips and chin again. "Tsk..." was the only sound Ichi made as he burnt himself. But he knew he was getting closer to getting the skill down.

Ichi continued to push forward with his learning of the technique. He wasted no time setting up again. He made his hand signs and stopped at [ Ram ]. "Katon: Goryuuka no Jutsu [ Great Dragon Fire Technique ]!" he shouted just before inhaling a large quantity of air in his lungs. He than exhaled in large burst releasing large. condensed fireballs in the shape of dragon heads at dummies. This time the skill worked out as he was able to release four -to- six fire balls. "Now to make sure I really got it down..." he said meaning one more time.

Ichi now geared up for his final make sure at the jutsu. He quickly made hand signs as he inhaled a large quantity of air in his lungs before stopping on [ Ram ]. "Katon: Goryuuka no Jutsu [ Great Dragon Fire Technique ]!" he shouted as he exhaled in large burst, large dragon head shaped fireballs. He seemed to have learned and nearly mastered the skill now. When the fire ended Ichi inhaled and exhaled to relax his lungs, throat, and mouth.

Shizuka moved onto the next part of her training. She figured that she had done enough with basic chakra training. Now it was time for some performance training. She held her hands out and shook them a few times. Relaxing and readying the muscles and then placing her hands together once she had done so. She began slowly at first, making hand signs one after the other, muttering the named of the hand sign, one after the other again and again. Every now and then she would up the speed, being a ninjutsu user this would mean that she would probably be better at this then most and it showed. She released small bursts of chakra with every hand sign she made in an attempt to imitate actually using jutsu.

Shizuka continued with her hands signs without stopping, in fact she was actually getting faster. Since this training was simply the practice of using chakra in actual every day combat situations and things along those lines, it seemed only right that she use them in her practice too. She used her chakra to order the useful little insects to fly out, using the insect jar technique to fly in a dome formation around her. All the while continuing her hand signs. Doing two things at once proved to be difficult, but it wasn't anything that this young Kunoichi could not handle. The bugs flew faster, her hand signs increased in speed to until she got to the point that she could go no faster and she finally stopped, her hands resting in her lap and the dome of flying insects dissipating and returning back to her body with a soft sigh.

Ichi seemed to now be on his last Katon [ Fire ] jutsu. He quickly made hand signs and stopped at [ Horse ] before shifting his right hand to a gripping like position as if he was going to use [ Chidori ]. Suddenly his right hand erupted in flames. Ichi than launched at a dummy and was about to strike it. But just before his strike he made a fist and the jutsu stopped and it was just a decently strong punch. "Crap..." was the only word out of his mouth.

Ichi went back to read the scroll again and understood what he did wrong. He had closed his fist ending the jutsu. He hand to perform the skill just like the [ Chidori ]. So ichi simple took the time this time rather than working through, decided to read a bit more first.

Feeling a bit more prepared, Ichi stood to his feet and began to make the needed hand signs before stopping at [ Horse ]. He had his right hand down towards the ground as if he was gripping something and he used his left hand to keep his right steady. "Katon: Go [ Five ]!" he said as he right hand was surround in flames and chakra. Ichi than dashed at a dummy and struck it with the technique. The dummy was struck and began to burn and Ichi launch it backwards with force of both his strike the release of the flames. Ichi's hand had ripped right through the torso of the dummy.

Now feeling that he had gotten the skill, Ichi turned to a different dummy in the training area. He followed the same steps like last time. He began to make the needed hand signs before stopping at [ Horse ]. He had his right hand down towards the ground as if he was gripping something and he used his left hand to keep his right steady. "Katon: Go [ Five ]!" he said as he right hand was surround in flames and chakra. He quickly dashed at the dummy and struck it. Ichi's flaming hand ripped right through the dummy. It was now just hanging on his arm where it now had a hole in it's chest. "This will work great for my close combat and my last resort..." he said as he pulled his arm out of the dummy.

Ichi seemingly done with his Jutsu training for now decided that he would head to a place where he could training in his chakra control alone rather than around others. He quickly gathered his things and headed out.
