Kazuki Shishigami entered the Academy, feeling nostalgic. It wasn't too long ago that he and Pan played around in these halls, rather than doing much of the actual learning. But somehow he managed to pass and move onto becoming a genin. Yet here he was again, back to learn. Pan nudged him in the leg, bringing him back to the present. Kazu smiled to himself and settled in a free space in the grounds. Kazu wanted to limber up before Wazurai showed up so that he'd be ready for his training.

Shizuka stood up afterwards and turned to him, nodding. She had at least some idea of what he was capable of. Although he had obviously been training and learned a few new tricks since she had last seen him fight. Evidenced by his ability to increase his speed and strength like that. She frowned when he flicked the bug, holding her hand out for it to land on. "Don't worry pet. The mean old man can't hurt you now." She looked up at Roku, smirking slightly to show that she was only joking around with him. She flicked her arms outwards, causing a large swarm of her bugs to surround her. She had recently used to cocoon technique and her bugs reproduced faster then usual anyhow. So she could control many more then an Aburame usually could. "Sounds fine to me. Come at me."

°•~ Roku rolled his eyes. "Oh yes. Fine idea. Run right into the swarm of bugs that eat chakra and flesh." He shook his head at her and smiled. He reached into his back and pulled out his spine. His bone manipulation cost no hand signs. So he smiled as he whipped his vine. He swung it at her, whipping at her head first, then quickly spinning to the right and snapping at her legs before he lunged forward to snap at her midsection, where the vine would wrap around her waist and he would attempt to crush her ribs. If it was successful, the vine spine would wrap in the back. The other two were fakes to make her flinch. From this though, he was able to keep his range and maneuver whenever she sent her bugs at him. ~°•

Shizuka listened to his talk of not wanting to come close. As soon as he did she knew that he was about to try something, although she wasn't exactly sure what he was going to try she would not let him do it. She had begun to back track even before he pulled out his spine, moving well out of range even if he did move towards her because a spine only had so far it could reach. She then held her left hand out in his direction and spewed a stream of bugs out at him. They stayed dispersed out, making Tai and Bukijutsu almost impossible to hit them. The only option he would really have as far as far as she knew would be to dodge. Especially considering the fact that her bugs moved faster, able to keep up with most Taijutsu users. Her own bugs followed her back

°•~ Roku was already rolling backwards as he saw her arms move forward. He leaped backwards and as well out of range before the bugs came at him. So he decided it was time to try something else. He put his hands to the ground and bones sprouted out of the ground all over the dojo. One of them directly under Shi. He melted into the bone behind him just as the swarm of bugs were about to hit. Since he could go from one bone to the next, this would give him the advantage. For she wouldn't know this. And that made her bugs useless because as soon as he were to go into the bones, the bugs would fall off because they couldn't meld like he could.

His arm appeared for just a moment as the vine reached out and whipped around her leg. If the attack reached the leg, it would wrap around and drag her directly into the bones toi smash her against them. If not, his arms would whip back inside before her bugs could get to him. His speed was great though. As the bone had popped out of the ground he had come out of it to come after her. And she had no idea he could do that or what the bones did. ~°•

• Sawarabi no Mai is the fifth of five dance forms. After activating the level two cursed seal form, Kimimaro quickly grows a multitude of tall spikes from his body to create a large forest of bone. While in this form he himself can merge into the bone trees to attack his target from whichever spike he wants.

The bugs followed him backwards, hitting the bone as he melded into it. But it was no bother, they ate chakra. And the bones were infused with chakra, and they were also all connected to him and as such his chakra. The bugs would begin to feed upon the the chakra the moment they landed upon the bone. Draining it with every moment they remained on it and by extension him also.

The bones would also start to weaken since they were so strong because of the chakra within them. His only option to negate this would be to leave the bone. She had already rushed away from them the bone that had sprouted from below her, leaving a portion of the bugs that surrounded her upon it for ease of feeding. The moment his arm moved out the bugs would react to the higher concentration of chakra and go for his arm. If he didn't find a way of moving out the way then the bugs would land, feeding upon him directly. She dispersed a few more from within herself, the first time she had done so in a while which would have given her time to produce some more. If he came out from any other bones she would have an advanced warning.

Kazuki was dutifully stretching, one leg up against the wall while he pushed his body against it when he finally noticed a little battle raging on. He wasn't about to stop stretching just to watch, so instead decided to multi-task. Kazu planted his feet on the floor and then bent forward, putting his palms on the ground as well. Kaz proceeded to lift his legs into the air and hold himself up. Pan laid down next to him, her head resting on her paws as she observed the battle. The girl was clearly an Aburame, which was evident due to her use of the little black bugs. Then Kazu cast his eyes over to the redheaded guy, who pulled out his spine. Kazuki was so caught off guard his hand slipped and he came plummeting to the ground face first. He quickly flipped over to his bottom and held his nose as he watched the battle, momentarily groaning in pain.

°•~ Roku felt the bugs on him immediately. He retracted his hand, the bugs falling off against the bone. He appeared in a bone far from the bugs and Shi and jumped out breathing heavily. he smiled as he felt some of his chakra gone. Not bad. He knew he was no match for her. With her bugs she was pretty much untouchable for a close ranged fighter like himself. He nodded to her and retracted everything. He smiled to her. She learned quickly. He was better then he was.

He looked to her and smiled faintly. "That was quite good." He went over to his stuff and sat down. With how the bugs ate chakra, he was pretty tired now. He was glad she was on his team. He grabbed some food and water. He took a single sip and ate a bit. He leaned back after he was done and sighed deeply. He was glad he got what he wanted. ~°•

Shi landed gracefully upon the ground, calling her bugs back to her and allowing them to crawl back under her skin before looking back over to him. She tilted her head slightly in confusion. "....Nani?" She got up and walked over to him. If she had pockets then she would stuff her hands into them right about now. She sat down next to him and looked at him, wondering whether she had done something wrong. "Did I...Do something wrong?"

XXXIt wouldn't be long before the image of both her cousin and his animal partner faded into the background of the increasing crowd. Hands clutching tightly onto the front fabrics of her dress, Ayaka couldn't help but feel nervous at the fact she was wondering down the streets alone. All her life, Aya had spent it sheltered and protected. To suddenly be left to fend for herself...it never did sit well with Aya. Freedom was her dream, it was within her grasp but her natural fear of being alone, created through years and years of strict protection, was becoming a wedge. Picking up her pace, Ayaka did her best to maneuver through the crowds and toward the all to familiar academy.

She arrived just in time to see a battle going on between a male and female. The female would appear to be controlling many tiny black insects and the male would somehow manage to use a weapon similar to a whip. The sight of the bone whip frazzled her but in her current condition that was not important. Easily locating her cousin and Pan just as Kazuki flipped himself back over onto his but, Aya would dash across the field and drop to her knees before Pan. Petite hands instantly wrapping around the young cheetah's neck, Ayaka would then nuzzle her face into her warm, comforting fur. "Too fast...you two were too fast for me...." Continuing to take comfort in Pan's warmth, Ayaka forgot all thoughts of ties as what she needed right now was a chance to regain her composure after being exposed to such large crowds alone.

Shi sighed softly and listened as a girl came up from somewhere, she hadn't noticed the direction, too busy talking to her friend. She didn't really trust people. But she would have to start trying eventually. She stood up and thought about how to do this. Shrugging slightly. "We just finished a friendly sparring match. I don't think I've seen you around before. I'm Shi, this is Roku. And you are...?"

Shi got the feeling that this girl had the same sort of relationship with animals as she did. Of couse, this suspicion wasn't confirmed in the slightest. It was merely a feeling. But it was a feeling that made her aware that she could at least try to trust this girl. "Well, if you need someone to spar with then I could always help you? My friend here is resting because he's been training all day. But I'm still ready to go. I think." She smiled softly, the bugs under her skin had recently eaten and were full of energy, ready to go.
