Of course, what was a bored merchant to do but read the expensive, rare books in the back of the wagon when there was nothing to do? Win began, "Yes. And according to the latest physics findings, if we shoot now, he won't have the reflexes to do anything since bullets travel faster than we can react to them. So shall we?" She snickered a little, steadying her finger on the trigger.

Shepard grinned "Sorry but that's all you're getting from me." he said taking another step back "are you sure you want to risk coming at me, or shooing" he said turning to Win "now tell me, what If you do decide to shoot, and you miss?" he said as he positioned Poz in front of him.
Cedric took the bag and grinned "well I guess there's no changing your mind. I appreciate this sir" he turned on his heals and walked off. He exited the ship and ruffled through the bag, it was a good amount of gold to keep him on his feet for a while.

"Impossible", Win said, steadying her aim on Gacamo's head. "I've been shooting moving targets for years. Do you realize how hard it is to catch food in Hannon? But I don't know. Maybe we should see what happens", she said to taunt him. She glanced to Ruby without moving, looking at what the woman would do before eyeing Shepard once again.
"Well, that one gave up so fast. No perseverance whatsoever... Who needs him?", Gacamo said, pulling his cap back over his face to doze off once more.

As Win and Shepard were talking, Ruby was inching closer and closer to Shepard, when suddenly, she lept forward, whacking the soft side of his elbow with the barrel of her gun to free Poz from his grasp. "Run!" She told Poz.

Poz, frightened and skittish, jotted to the other side of the room where Win was like a frightened baby deer.

As soon as Poz was free, Win took no hesitation and shot Shepard, aiming for his knee, to demobilize him. "Ruby, now!", Win gestured to Ruby, hoping she would knock him unconscious somehow.

Shepard grunted with pain and fell on his good knee, he clenched his teeth trying to ignore the pain. He looked up seeing Ruby was still close. He lunged forward, his hand balled up in a fist, he struck Ruby across the face using his full body force.
Cedric went back into Ander, he wanted to get out of this place, who knows what Hannon would do next...
He had enough gold to buy a bit of fuel, but it wouldn't be enough to get him across the sea...

Venge woke up startled by the gunshot, he stood up and ran to the it's origin. He opened the door in time to see Shepard strike Ruby.

Ruby was taken by surprise when the blow hit her face, and she twisted and silently fell to the floor, panting for air.

Pozlaceny darted forward, near a crate, where she used it to get herself back up and balanced before whipping her head around, her eyes landing back on Ruby to Win and then to Shepard. She swallowed, knowing well what the man was on the ship for. Surely, Pozlaceny's bounty had gotten around. She didn't know how Shepard had gotten on her trail, but the least of her worries were wondering the whats and hows but the situation that displayed itself now.
She licked her lips, before speaking, whether Ruby had time to hear or not. "He wants to turn me back into Hannon authorities. We don't know if he is free lance or if he's from my father. I want to ask a couple questions, so don't kill him yet!" She had a lump in her throat as she said this, shaking a little in fright. She couldn't go back to Hannon yet, no, not yet. Not without Ren.
Ren had heard commotion. He was in a small corner in the ship, laying down napping until a gun shot was heard. He, a light sleeper, sprang up, grabbing his hand gun and running in the direction of the shot upon finding the girls and an unknown man. He quickly went to Pozlaceny's side, where he put his hand on her shoulder. He then looked to Shepard, watching as he struck Ruby before pointing his own gun at Shepard. He eyed Venge, who also seemed available for help, and eyed Shepard. "You're certainly out numbered, now, so what point would there be in fighting back? Put your hands up," he threatened. He was protective when around Pozlaceny, and didn't want Shepard to try and pull anything.

Shepard stood up and stared at the two men "outnumbered, but not outmatched" he said with a grin. Of course he knew it was over but he wasn't going to give up. "now I'm probably going to have to kill all of you...starting with you" his finger slowly moved up and landed on Win.
Venge gritted his teeth and lunged at Shepard "no you won't!" he yelled. He spun around, his leg flying up heading straight at Shepard.
Shepard easly stopped Venge's leg "take it easy my friend" he whispered. He took a strong grip on Venge's leg, he turned on his heels and then flipped Venge over him. Venge hit the ground with a loud thud.

Ruby slowly started to get up, shaking. "What... the hell..." She muttered to herself. All she could hope for is that they distracted him long enough for Danny to get them to Ander.

He watched as Venge was thrown to the floor before Ren shot a single bullet, aimed at Shepard's right shoulder, hoping he'd just slow down. Pozlaceny didn't want him dead, which would prove difficult just to keep him down, but Ren would follow Pozlaceny's orders to the period. He didn't know who Shepard was or what he was doing on the ship, and being clueless and slightly dumbfounded did no good. The ex-soldier shot again, aimed at Shepard's arm. He didn't know if either of his shots hit Shepard but Ren intended to finish this quickly.
He shot again, aimed at one of his knees, before dropping the gun. There were only three bullets in it anyways; Ren couldn't afford anything more. He then readied himself, prepared to put up a fight to make Shepard submit.

Shepard flinched when two bullets hit him, one of which hit him in his already wounded knee. He fell to the ground again but forced hinself to stand. This wasn't good, he'd bleed out soon. He turned and faced Ren "now you're first" he said under his breath. He ran up to Ren, unfortunately his movements were a lot slower now.
Venge cringed on the floor, he landed painfully on his back and wouldn't get up soon.

[ Ah, I'm such a pacifist; Rest assured, Cookies, I feel bad for shooting Shepard, even though it's only a story. Oh, and I'll be right back. I'm going to get something to eat. ]
Ren bent to pick up the gun, quick on his feet before darting forward. He turned his body, using shoulder to try and ram Shepard to the floor. He pointed the gun towards Shepard after that, taking a deep breath to refocus. "Just give up. It's not like I'll kill you right away. If you just put your hands up calmly, then this will all go smoothly and you'll likely die less painfully. Of course, I can't say the same for the rest of these people."
His eyes darted to Ruby, who was likely pissed that someone snuck on her ship and caused a lot of ruckus.

Win was easily infuriated when Shepard hurt Venge. "Screw this!", she yelled, stomping over to the man without hesitation and hitting him over the head with the butt of her rifle, with the intent of knocking him out. Not even caring if Shepard was still alive or conscious, she dropped her gun and rushed over to Venge. "Venge!", she cried out, letting him rest his head on her lap when she stooped down to aid him.
