She liked to give Shukenja a hard time and vice versa, but it seemed that the observations that they had found, put them more in the serious mindset. Once they got to the gates, she spotted an ANBU; "Hey!" She shouted up. She watched him or her turned around and leaned a bit, a sign they were listening, "Where's the Raikage? I need to meet him immediately!" THey conversed for a bit and the ANBU replied; "Dojo." "Thank you, ANBU-san." With that, both Hakanai and Shukenja ran towards the Dojo.

With a bit of a bounce to her step, Mizuki made her way to the gates. Upon her forehead was the pair of goggles she'd purchased and he steps were shockingly damn near silent. It seemed as if she was the first to arrive though that did little to bother her.

___Kaneo sauntered up with a yawn an a stretch a few moments later, much more clothed now than the last time they saw each other at the dojo. Ooo, and she had some new gear. "Diggin' the goggles, Zuki." For now he'd dispense with their more playful banter. It was much more fun to fall into it organically than try to kick start it at the outset of every new conversation. Instead he fiddled with left side of the fleece lined collar on his jacket. "Hey, I know Shiro told us to get these, but the lady at the shop just stuck it on my jacket and didn't exactly explain how it worked." He wondered allowed as he flipped the piece of his garment up and revealed the little pouch holding the tech sown into the underside of it. The man was hardly inept when it came to technology, but also didn't have enough to snag a backup he could test the setup with.
Kaneo had freshened up since she last saw the man. That was good at least. "You just gotta touch it in the right places Kane-kun~" One of her slender fingers reached up and gently rubbed a hidden switch on her goggles to turn them on. Some static crackled to life in the ear piece that connected to the radio set, in effect letting her know that she was live on Kumo's field ops frequency. "Once you do that you can hear can my whispers♪" She of course meant that their words could be shared right in each other's ears. Though as it was Mizuki, her words were rather sexual. But then Mizuki's form of language was rather contextual in general rather than substantive so things that sounded sexual were used in entirely mundane ways. The channel was left open long enough for Kaneo to test his equipment. Once that was finished she turned it off. Wouldn't want to waste the batteries after all.
Emerald eyes glanced around with curiosity, keeping an eye out for their appointed leader. Truth be told she was rather excited for her first combat mission. The wounded at the hospital had done little to deter that notion. "Is it surprising that bloop-nin got all tied up? He seemed kinda thick in the wrong sorta way." Partly what she said was for small talk, but it was also partly because at least two chuunin were on the mission they were reinforcing. Mizuki knew the blooper was one, and the Unki that Shiro had mention was one as well according to the duty assignments she'd seen. That made her rather curious as to the threat level of this mission. ___The Genin reached up and clicked his radio on, testing that he could indeed hear Mizuki's voice coming through once he got the frequency set. Nifty. He also arched an eyebrow in the woman's direction as she mused about the nature of their mission. "I suppose not. I'm honestly surprised they got into trouble so fast. It hasn't even been that long since we were chatting with the Raikage and he was blooping his way through a briefing." Naturally, Kaneo's critique was a bit more reserved than Mizuki's withering condemnation, but he couldn't say he didn't agree with her assessment. While his partner had indeed gained strength, Kaneo lagged considerably further behind; and though she definitely held back in their spar, the swordsman wondered if she'd spent enough of her time on offensive techniques to make the pair of them a significant force multiplier in any way. Then again, they had a leader with at least a passing semblance of competency, so hopefully that wouldn't be an issue. "So much for doing this mission without screwing up, I guess." Kaneo added, reusing the Raikage's words from back at the bar they'd all stopped at upon their arrival.

The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, assuming the user has seen the bloodline before, and approximately how large their chakra pool is.
● Resolution 2: Members of the Resolution discipline have three-quarters the range, instead of half.
● Skill: Multitasking While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost.
● Skill: Manipulation Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. Reduces the Stamina cost of bow-related Bukijutsu techniques (including Formless Styles) by 10 Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina.
● Manipulating Line An addition to the technique Calling Cord. By laying a good amount of additional chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to fully control the length, direction, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for incredibly diverse attacks from all angles. Automatically applied after learning.
● Kemuri no Shikaku [ Sight through Smoke ] The practitioner grows accustomed to the way smoke flows around them and others. The practitioner's vision is no longer adversely affected by their smoke bombs.
● Offensive Style: Knife Stances The user becomes more accustomed to upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions. Speed of all Bukijutsu employing small arms is mildly increased.
● Offensive Style: Simple Play With this training, the user is able to more comfortably switch between upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions in a pinch. The user's reflexes are mildly increased.
● Trick Style: Knife Toss The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. Confers a slight reflex bonus to the practitioner.
● Offensive Style: Artless Draw The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash. Slightly increases the speed of strikes made when drawing a small weapon.
● Offensive Style: Two-fer-One The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives. Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique from this Style without paying the cost.
● Trick Style: Retreating Feet The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.
● Trick Style: Blade’s Edge The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip. Confers a slight increase to the user's reflexes.

It was weird watching the duo leaping from rock to rock. At this point, the two of them were even more playful than they were. The anbu at the gates were skeptical when they arrived, seeing how they changed but there was no reason to keep them from entering.

Reaching the village gates, Hachiro sighed with relief. The expedition had gone almost completely flawless. Finally, he had delivered his escort back to the village. The convoy of logging carts and transports trailed in slowly through the gates. Being satisfied with his efforts, Hachiro would move towards the Raikage's office to turn in his mission report.

___Kaneo stopped at the gates a moment to stretch, giving Mizuki time to catch up if she felt so inclined. He couldn't blame her for just blowing through and going to find a bath and a nap if that's what she so chose, but they did have a report to file and big plans to set in motion now that they were no longer directly positioned under a boot. Or, perhaps, now that Mizuki was likely to receive a promotion. The Mugen did not expect the same, despite playing a successful role in the operation. He was well aware how easily overlooked the secondary character's actions so often were. Didn't mean they weren't important, though.
Slowly walking up behind Kaneo Mizuki yawned lightly. She still felt stiff from being cramped up inside that ship. Even though they'd been walking for some time now. Never was one for just sitting around and doing nothing. "I could go for getting wet after that mission... You wanna join me in the springs after we report in Kane-kun~" Knowing that Shiro was probably rather busy, Mizuki intended to simply drop off her report at the office. Perhaps she'd go to see Shiro personally later but for now she wanted to rest up first. ""

Plus, I've never been one to turn down a little extra freedom when you're around." He added nonchalantly, as if it were the simplest of sentiments. He had some other reports he needed to drop off anyways, since there wasn't really time to report in on missions prior to being pressganged into their somewhat messy rescue mission. He wondered what the repercussions of said trial would be, but ultimately the bath was calling, and he grandiosely gestured for Mizuki to take the lead on their journey to the office.
