Avan saw Baku get slammed down. While he tried to move to his Pokemon, he heard the footstep of the knight-like grunt; after all...knight armor wasn't exactly the most quiet thing in the word. Avan turned, just in time to see the fist being swung at him. Out of startlement (<--word? I dunno. being startled), the boy yelped and 'jumped' backwards, narrowly avoid the punch; the fist being felt anyways on his face. "What the hell?" He called out as he scrambled to his feet. That woman just took a swing at me!

Then he thought of Baku. He reached into his pocket for the Pokeball, but couldn't find it. He must have left with his bag; and honestly he couldn't remember where his bag was. Avan had to get the hurt Pokemon, so that's what he tried to do. The boy attempted to his pick up Baku and get away.

Big nope. Average weight for Munnas is 50 lbs, so Avan, in his attempt, would find himself under melee assault by Becca the Plasma Grunt in a combination of blows primarily aimed for his face, with a nut cracking finisher kick.

Since Baku wasn't awake to help lesson it's weight, using the same tactic to levitate at all times, the weight thing was plausible.
The sound once again gave her away. Avan wasn't the most alert, butclangy noises were a dead give away, but this time he wouldn't be so lucky to avoid a hit. Turning to see her coming, the first blow connected and immediately floored the boy. The pain was immediate. Never before had he been beat up so bad on the first hit.

"Ahhh...."

Not having another choice, and quite quick thinking on his part, Avan pulled Kali's ball from his pocket and called her out. "Night Shade! Blast her away!" At the attack command, the Yamask shot a Night Shade, point blank, at the woman, allowing the boy to get and move. And as he did, noticed his bag and jacket, forgetting he wrapped the bag in the jacket before and that's why he was carrying it.

WHAM! Becca was thrown away by the attack which had taken the form of a Jewish man(randomly chosen phobia courtesy of Phobialist.com). Becca hit the floor and rolled to her feet before falling again, stunned by the attack. Had a Jewish man just tackled her. Shaking her head quickly, she got up to her feet and took off after Avan.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow! Son of a biiiiitch," Wayne whined as he held his arm. It hurt before, but it was killing now. Hitmonlee released his trainer, setting him down on the walkway that cut an X between the tall grass of the courtyard.

Hitmonlee turned quickly when the dull metal clunk signalled Chuck's arrival. He was tired from taking K-Rok's snarls but he wasn't out of it. But even if this man was the enemy, was it even right to attack him? He'd never gone and assaulted a human before. He was pretty confident that his kicks could cream steel as well.

Wayne stopped him with his one good arm held out at the side. Hitmonlee glanced over and saw his trainer on one knee, wincing in pain but forcing a grin.

"Dad always said it should be people against people, pokémon against pokémon."

Hitmonlee stayed quiet.

"You got that?" Wayne grunted as he forced his way back onto his feet. Today had been too damn tiring, dammit. "You ready to kick that croc's a**? I'll coach you... if you want."

Hitmonlee stepped up, waiting for K-Rok to appear. He waved his hand over his head nonchalantly; whatever anxiety he'd gained in the underground skirmish was quickly draining away.

"Alright. Here we go."

Climbing up the debris sort of pseudo-stairs came K-Rok. He was bleeding with his snout courtesy of the kicks he'd received early but he wasn't out of it yet. A giant bruise lay on his throat that made Snarling painful, but he'd still managed his rap. He was luckier that his throat hadn't been crushed.

Either way, topside with the sun setting in the backdrop, the final battle had begun.

Chuck slowly climbed to his feet, tired, face a bloody mess. He looked at Wayne and sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Jeeze this is a lot of trouble," he said.

K-Rok grinned a sharp toothed grin. [Yo, yo, don't just stand around,] said K-Rok as he kicked the dirt, kicking sand toward Hitmonlee's eyes in the form of Sand Attack.

[No,] Hitmonlee said sharply as the sand flew; not sticking around for it to blind him, he shot off to the side. The pokémon's leg-springing agility was back in play now that he was no longer scared of K-Rok.

The fight type vanished into the woodwork. Or more accurately into the ridiculously tall grass that grew either side of the walkway that they were battling on. Since it was so tall and thick, it provided adequate cover. Cover enough for Hitmonlee's attack.

He'd move around K-Rok's side, putting him diagonally behind the ground type, before kicking out. His body twisted in the air as he went, so it was a Rolling Kick, but the direction of the attack was a horizontal sweep that sliced the upper halves of the grass off in a semicircle around Hitmonlee.

K-Rok was in the middle of the attack zone and grass on the other side of the walkway to Hitmonlee would be in range. The pokémon was aiming to catch K-Rok by surprise and strike him before he could react when the foot would suddenly appear in sight. If he hit him, then the intent would be to send the ground type flying into Chuck and knock the pair back down the hole they came out of.

Of course, for such accuracy, that would mean that K-Rok hadn't moved. If he had moved location but still been hit then he'd end up somewhere else. At the same time as his attack affording him cover, Hitmonlee would also be unable to see his enemy. To make sure he wouldn't fall prey to a maoneuver like Dig or whatever, Hitmonlee would spring back once he completed his Rolling Kick and landed on the ground, leg whipping back into position, and slip back into the tall grass and out of sight.

Wayne felt a bead of sweat drain down his temple. Now he just had to hope that these weren't those 'use lethal force against the trainer' kind of a*****e villains his Dad had warned him about.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 12, 2011 9:05 pm

The moment Hitmonlee moved the two went back to back, like pros. Or just bros. Partners, friends, however you wanted to define the comrade in arms. When the leg came Chuck ducked with a "be-

K-Rok was already moving before the word was finished, the leg snapping out suddenly. He didn't have much time to think about his move but he knew what to use. Hitmonlee had some powerful kicks, at the contact point it was god damn devastating. So, K-Rok would slam his hands into the kick at an angle that would divert the kick back, roughly, the way it'd come. This move was, of course, Foul Play. Using the owner's strength against them.

If all went well, Hitmonlee would end up kicking himself, but one couldn't rely on that with the way K-Rok had managed to do things. In other words, because it was hastily done with no visible point to strike, there was no guarantee that he'd even hit, or that this would be anything more than a parry or a hasty return of Hitmonlee's leg.

Either way, K-Rok couldn't give Hitmonlee the chance to hide himself. He smashed his own powerful kick into the ground. While it wasn't anything like Hitmonlee's, able to create Earthquakes, it was strong enough to break the ground and send them large rocks flying upward, which K-Rok would then push in the direction of the rebounding leg, aimed to bury Hitmonlee in Rock Tomb.

His leg sent flying back at him, Hitmonlee's body continued to twist with the Rolling Kick roll. Instead of striking him, his foot would come crashing down just past him and hit the floor. His coil-like leg would then compress and Hitmonlee gained some potential energy.

He angled himself sideways, the grass he'd sliced through with his kick falling down and revealing his location. Rock Tomb was heading his way and Hitmonlee released the compression in his leg to shoot away from K-Rok's attack, once again delving into the grass - only this time on the other side of the walkway.

Wayne remembered his battle against Melty using Petilil, how his commands seemed to reach her in the heat of battle while he barely had to raise his voice. He hoped his intent would be as clear to Hitmonlee. So he could help him aim his blind strikes.

But no, the intent failed to reach the fight type. Hitmonlee had to see. He burst out of the edge of the grass next to K-Rok, his speed once again boosted by his leg power. He hoped to catch the pokémon off guard, landing just outside of K-Rok's reach and swiftly aiming his foot at its chest.

His leg would rapidly spring out and retract; a first attempt at using Brick Break. If it missed, it would still retract quickly, however the foot would ride past K-Rok's location and Hitmonlee would have a harder time slowing its incredible speed in order to bring it back. If he hit a target, then Hitmonlee's foot would bounce back his way almost as quickly as he had kicked out.

Once again he intended to send trainer and pokémon tumbling into the ruined underground.

"You almost fricken' hit me!" shouted Chuck who had been right next to the exploding ground when K-Rok had stomped it for his Rock Tomb. K-Rok, however, ignored him. Talking hurt, to be frank. He'd taken two super effective critical blows and as good as he looked - and the ladies thought that was damn good - he wasn't going to be able to withstand another blow.

Hitmonlee was faster than him and that was a big problem. The enemy had dodged his Rock Tomb and was escaping into the grass. Silence overtook the field as K-Rok tried to figure out his next move.

A moment later Hitmonlee sprung into action and Hitmonlee came out at his side. K-Rok swiftly turned to meet the kick but he wasn't going to be able to dodge or deflect this one. He could, however, trade a blow at the moment of contact. Payback, powered by his will to pay Hitmonlee back for the blow, both claws came down on the spring leg as the foot, power of diamond, struck his chest.

The result was that K-Rok was flung away and Chuck, who had the safety of being on the ground, was safe. K-Rok hit the ground hard.

[Bitches.... and hos....]

Chuck looked up at Hitmonlee, the enemy way too close. He'd thought about his options then. Regretting not beating up Wayne, taking his Pokeball and recalling the damn Pokemon. Now they'd lost this one, bad. At least they'd lost together, right?

Right?

Chuck turned to look at K-Rok to see him being taken away on the backs of several Sandile.

Wait, what?

This was, of course, his bitches and hos. K-Rok, barely conscious, managed to lift his hand to give Chuck a thumbs up as he departed swiftly into the tall grass meanwhile a swam of Sandile that hadn't been carrying K-Rok snapped at Hitmonlee, talkin' 'bout how bad he was fer hittin' K-Rok so hawd when he didn hav t' go dat far 'n s**t, snapping jaws snapping in attitude(like this))

But as Hitmonlee's foot was retracting so quickly, the moment it made contact with K-Rok, it was already on its way back. He would, at most, strike the diamond-hard foot ineffectually and send it grinding into the metal walkway, where sparks would fly and the metal would warp around the leg that had been forced down into a standing position.

"Phew," Wayne sighed in relief. Then he put on his game face. Hitmonlee stood over the downed knight called Chuck, his eyes narrowed menacingly. Truth be told, he was getting tired, but any sign of exhaustion would just serve to make him look even more pissed off.

Wayne arrived on the scene, his ruined arm pinned against his chest by his other. "Tell me," he said with laboured breaths, "Tell me where Plasma's base is."

He swallowed, tasted blood from his dry throat, "Tell me and I'll let you live."
PostPosted: Tue Jul 12, 2011 9:46 pm

[How he gonna release an album if you all hittin' hit droat? wachu gonna do 'bout dat? eh? EH!?] shouted the Sandile in their retreat into the grass after K-Rok and Chuck watched them go.

b*****d...

Chuck then looked to Wayne. Both of them looked like s**t. Chuck's face all busted up, Wayne's arm busted up, his hair and face and clothes covered in dirt like he'd been trapped on a conveyor belt that almost killed him.

"Let me live? Look, kid you aren't a murderer, or you would've targeted me from the start with both Pokemon," he said. Way he saw it, if Wayne wanted to kill him he would've used Solosis on him and Hitmonlee on K-Rok. While he technically did, he didn't do it at the same time.

"Go ask my leader," he said and he gestured back toward another entrance into the underground facility. "He talks, I don't get in trouble, I talk and they'll do a hell of a lot worse to me than you can." Especially if you think death threats are like, scary. Kids never read a torture story.

"Just you an' me?" Eunmi asked, glancing at Dali.

[Flashback]
"Emi, wait up." Sam ran towards Eunmi as she left the front gates to their high school.

"Leave me alone," she mumbled.

"C'mon, you know we can still practice. After school and stuff - you don't need the club-"

"I'm- I was president, Sam," Eunmi said, turning her head slightly to glance at him. "No offense, but you're not going to be able to save the day on this one."

"Maybe we can do something about it," he said, reaching for her arm. "Appeal the... case or whatever. If your grades improve-"

Eunmi pulled her arm away.

"Don't you think I already tried to find a way around it?" Eunmi adjusted the strap to her backpack. "Let's just cut our losses and be done with it. You take over the club. I'm going home."

"So you're just going to stop taekwon-do? That's not you at all."

Eunmi paused, lightly shaking her head.

"I have better things to do," Eunmi said, twisting to look at him. "If you can't handle that, then maybe..."

"Maybe, what? We should break up?" Sam frowned.

"...tch," Eunmi ruffled her hair. "Maybe, yeah."

[/Flashback]

Eunmi smirked.

"I'll take that."

Eunmi unclipped Dali's poke ball, returning him as she darted forward. She went the opposite direction from where the Scraggy and her Oshawott had been fighting, in case the woman didn't keep her end of the deal. She twisted, her leg lifting off the ground quickly to slam into the woman's mid-section. If it landed, she'd pull her leg in and jab out again at what would probably be exposed ribs if the woman shifted her arms to block the initial attack. If it didn't, well, we'll get to that.

Sandile was knocked hard by the Head Butt attack, but he barely winced as he skidded back a few feet. He changed position, quickly burrowing into the ground. When or where he would come up? No one knew.

Until it suddenly burst up in front of Henrietta, teeth bared and snarling, placing itself between the girl and the poke belt.

"We're not stupid," Jeffery replied, glancing back at the Roggenrola. He wasn't concerned about it recovering - not that much, at least. It was a rock type, after all.

Maybe Wayne Lee was a little naive. But it's hard to feel like yourself when you're in the middle of a coordinated attack by modern day equal rights knights. He wasn't going to run off chasing some unknown leader in the condition he was in. Not when he was just told that the man in front of him had the answers he was searching for.

"Sorry, I got a little ahead of myself," Wayne broke a bloodied grin. The guy was right, he was no killer. He knew killers though. "I was only talking endgame. You'll die. Sure."

Hitmonlee watched quietly, secretly feeling bad for potentially wrecking K-Rok's career.

"See, I'm a pokémon trainer. One of my pokémon, you've met, Solosis? He's the one who lifted you into the air like a little b***h. I train his psychic power lifting weights. 'Course power isn't everything; he needs finesse. Needs to learn to target; to make things hurt. You get what I'm saying?"

His heart was pounding.

Hitmonlee [Oh god, what have I done...?]

"You'll be a rag doll. He'll learn to pull you apart, strand, fibre, bone at a time. Reduce you in a living mass of flesh. Agony. Then put you back together, keep you alive. It'll be fun! Training!" Wayne coughed, spitting blood and saliva onto the walkway, "You'll understand pain on levels you'd never thought possible. But y'know, since Solosis is inexperienced, he may make a few mistakes in reattaching you, but what the hell? Gotta start somewhere."

Wayne took out a pokéball, feeling the fire of anger rise inside. This guy was Plasma. He. He deserved everything he got. Solosis materialised next to his trainer.

"Say hi. Remember this guy?" Wayne said and Solosis looked a little confused about what was going on. "Solosis. Telekinesis this sack of s**t."

And Solosis would blast purple telekinetic waves at Chuck once again, aiming to lift him out of reach; no amount of kicking or flailing would ever reach Wayne or his pokémon.

Leonarda wore a bored expression as she returned Scraggy and the new battle began. Eunmi could definitely fight and, well, Leonarda simply couldn't. She wasn't relying on her armor or some cool skills to win the fight. Rather, she had simply taken the quickest path to success.

The kick came and she'd curl an arm around the leg before Eunmi could escape. Not that the teen seemed to intend to do that, instead Leonarda would receive a blow to her ribs but that didn't stop her, in the same motion that Eunmi made that blow Leonardo would do two things.

First, she'd make a grab for Dali's ball with her free arm and second she'd aim to headbutt Eunmi in the nose.

***

Henrietta wasn't that stupid either. "Frate, get Melty!" Henrietta cried. Frate, who was closer to the ball than Sandile or Henrietta, dashed for the ball and Henrietta, who had to stall the Sandile lunged at it.

Okay, so I'm that stupid.

It wasn't anything dramatic, just tackle the opposing Pokemon, keep it from stopping Frate. She was confident that Melty's arrival would herald the end to this battle, she just had to get to that point and, frankly, she was desperate.

***

Chuck chuckled. "Seriously, kid?" he asked. Sure, he had the intimidating villain thing down stat, but still. "Take the vibrating c**k out of your a** and listen. Unless we murdered your parents or something - which I doubt - you don't really have an excuse for killing a man. I'll wager a bet we jacked your Pokemon off of you.

"You really think killing me gets them back? Nope, you just get hauled off to jail, your Solosis is put into restraints for the rest of its life and your Pokemon serve Plasma. Actually, do that, I'd love to see you locked up. You're the reason we jack punks like you. Unstable monsters raising their Pokemon to kill to get back, what, Pokemon you lost?"

Chuck smirked, "do it, kid, just remember murder is worse than kidnapping, and murderers definitely don't deserve their Pokemon. For their safety I'm not telling you a god damn thing."
