 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Sorry. Work randomly kept getting shuffled and family is in town suddenly.))
Markus smile slightly, relaxing and enjoying the massage. He made a soft humming sound as Akila worked, loosening the muscles of his back and neck. He leaned back against her gently. "Thank you Akila. I needed that." He said softly, turning his head to kiss her cheek.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila smiled and ran a hand through his hair, careful to remain gentle. Soothing. After a moment, she got a sort of devious look about her, and her hands slid down to his sides, barely touching him, until she poked. Was he ticklish?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus closed his eyes to enjoy the touch. He missed the mischievous look that flashed across Akila's face. He jumped suddenly, squeaking in surprise as he was suddenly poked, revealing he was ticklish. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila couldn't help but giggle...kind of. Her body shook a little, and it wasn't actually audible, but small cartiledge crackling. Once again, she grabbed at his sides, smirking.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus squirmed as she tickled him. "H-Hey! Come on now!" He protested playfully, laughing. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila crawled around so she was in front of him again. Smiling widely, she tickled his sides with gentle fingers. Her tail swished from side to side. She hadn't played like this since the yarnball.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus pushed at her, gently enough that she would know he didn't really mean it. "You're torturing me!" He said, laughing. Years seemed to fade from his face and he looked more like himself than the strong leader he had to be for everyone else. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila nodded energetically, and stayed close, tickling at his sides and flicked her ears under his chin. Her soft fur barely touching his skin.
She loved seeing that youth come back to him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus was breathless with laughter. Finally he reached out and caught Akila's hands, flipping and pinning her to the bed. He smirked at her playfully. "Ha! Can't tickle me now!" He said, panting lightly, his dark eyes alight with laughter. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila was trying to look innocent, but she couldn't keep the guilty smile off her face. This little reminder of his strength was very attractive to her. That, and the fact that he could still laugh after everything that'd happened so far. She arched her back a little, freeing her tail from beneath her, and it flicked at his stomach once. She was teasing him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hey! That's cheating!" Markus protested playfully. He arched his back, trying to get out of reach of her tail without freeing Akila. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila settled back, 'giving up' and her tail came back to curl once under her chin, while she gave him her best pout

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Markus chuckled, kissing her mouth softly. "No need to pout." He shifted to lay beside Akila, no longer pinning her. He kept his arm across her though, holding her close. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Akila's cheeks flushed lightly and she grinned, wrapping her small arms around his waist. She bowed her head a little slowly to hide her eyes, embarrassed, and cuddled against him. One of the quirks of being a neko; she positively adored the contact.
