Ophelia smirked and rolled her eyes at Balthazar's teasing. She still found their bickering somewhat amusing. Before she could comment on it, though, the food was delivered to their room.

"Gods, could you imagine the hate mail we'd get from the other guild members if they knew how much we got to live it up like this?" Balthazar said pouring himself a glass of wine. "It's good to be the favorite. Er, one of the favorites."

"That's why I've gone through such great pains to keep them unaware." Ophelia could only imagine the outrage and disbelief. "It's not like it's undeserved, though, seeing as how you both do the important and more difficult missions. In a day you both make some of the senior members' entire careers look like nothing more than a shoddy greenhorn's work."

"Being married to the boss certainly helps too." Kaistern said pouring a glass for Ophelia before doing the same to himself. "A toast!"
"To finally crossing our mental issues off our increasingly long list of problems, personal or otherwise!" Balthazar finished the toast as the pair raised their glasses.

Ophelia was more than happy to toast to that! She raised her glass as well, her lips taking on an ever so broad grin once more. "Cheers!" Now, here's hoping they're all careful when drinking their wine. It seems like every other time they've done it they've proven to be chatty, goofy lightweights when drinking.

Of course they were both lightweights when it came to booze. The only difference being that Kaistern was a woozy, quiet drunk, while Balthazar was a loud party drunk. He was the one that, by the end of the night once all the food was gone, was rooting for Ophelia to "WOOOO!!! TAKE IT OFF~!!!"

Ophelia was incredibly giggly and talkative, not to mention easilly persuaded at this point. It didn't take very long at all for her clothes to end up scattered across the floor as she did whatever stupid and silly stunt that she fancied for the moment being. Had she known what she was doing, Ophelia would be all the more thankful that no one outside their room ever saw her that drunk.

Sure enough, Ophelia wasn't the only one to lose their clothes. Balthazar was quick to strip down, raise his hands to the air with a wine bottle in one hand, and proudly proclaim that he was the 'Rogue King of No Pants'. Kaistern was getting into an excessively sappy mood, and, sure enough, stripped down as well. The threesome that followed was only inevitable.

Ophelia woke up late the next day, a throbbing headache from all the wine she drank the previous night. She snuggled herself to the nearest body and refused to get up, letting out a soft groan before trying and failing to fall back asleep.

Surprise surprise, she was sandwiched between Balthazar and Kaistern. Balthazar was more sprawled out despite the shared space, while Kaistern seemed huddled up in a little ball, and seemed more than happy to reciprocate the snuggling.

Ophelia, after awhile, came to the reality that she needed to get up for the day. So after slowly slipping away as to not wake either, she went on to begin getting dressed and ready to face the day. As much as she'd love to sleep it all away for once, as much as she'd love to use her hangover as an excuse not to work, she simply couldn't. So she had to settle for some faulty hangover 'cure' and begin with the paperwork for the day.

Balthazar rolled over and, thinking the body his hand came in contact with to be Ophelia's, snuggled closer with a smile. Kaistern did the same, and....Well needless to say the obvious happened. Both males had been hoping to wake up to the face of their lovely wife. Not each other.
"Well that certainly helped kill the ol' morning wood...." Balthazar groaned as he sat up.
"...I stand corrected; maybe letting you blow through your work isn't such a bad idea. At least once we get the castle back you'll have no reason to get up early..." Kaistern buried his face in his hands, even the dim candlelight hurting his eyes. Certain other parts were rather achey, but the author is sparing such details. Remember kids, drink responsibly!

Were Ophelia free of her hangover, she would have let out a bit of hearty laughter at the scene. For the moment, all she could muster was a weak snicker. "Sorry, boys. I promise I won't be half as boggled with paperwork once this is all over and done with. We'll spend our mornings together in peaceful blissn'allthat.." It was a wonder she could even manage to smile as she did with the headache that plagued her so.

"What do we have for medicine around here...?" Kaistern groaned as he pulled on some pants before getting up to relieve his headache. Balthazar was...less than courteous.

"Crappy tonic that doesn't work 75% of the time." Ophelia snarked, motioning towards the bottle of it that was currently on her desk. "Then again, it might just affect me differently because I'm human. You never know.."
