The attack landed a direct hit, or so iron Hide thought. instead the attack landed upon a substitute. a moment later Iron Hide's ears began to ring from the damage of the 'snarl' attack. the large iron Pokemon began to shake its large had back an forth to help heal the ringing, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Takamaru made his way over to Avan. all the while his eyes glued to the battle. "Ne ne, you ok?" asked the rather injured Tk.
After the ringing in Iron Hide's head subsided he again lashed out with Iron Claw, but not at the Liapard, it was the ground he stuck, sending up a cloud of dust surrounding the battling Pokemon. Iron Hide used this distraction to Gather him self once more, preparing himself for the Liapards next attack, if one came.
Right as Iron Hide used Iron Claw again, Tk gave the signal for Spike to attack, and so he did. the small mole Pokemon erupted from directly in-front of the Cat Pokemon, all the while attacking with an Iron Claw himself.

As the family walked back inside, Luka and Gregory left Squirt and Crush to train so that Crush could get rid of his son's mischevious urges which would potentially cost Luka many matches in the future.
Scott bounced around his older brother and his father in an ecstatic glee, "That was awesome! Can you battle again sometime soon? PLEEEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE!"
Gregory smiled gently, "Scott, Luka is going away on his journey so we won't know when he's gonna be home until he's done. I'm sure this time he won't be away for too long, he's just nipping to Striaton for a gym battle and then he's coming right on home before he sets off proper. Right, Luka?"
Luka nodded, "Of course. I need to make sure I'm stocked up and you and Mum know the sort of stuff I'm gonna need."
Gregory nodded, "So, how about when you get home you have a battle against me and your mother. Your first double battle on your own against two experts. How does that sound? You might have to battle with multiple Pokémon at the same time some time in the future, so how about that be our final lesson before you leave properly?"
Scott beamed again, "That would be AWESOME!" He flung his arms wide as if to suggest the battle would be THAT awesome and his shining eyes turned on Luka. "Do it! Do it! Do it! DOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!! PLEASE?"
Luka laughed silently to himself, "Sure."
Zelda had her hands firmly on her hips, "And I get no say in this? Uggggh! Men!"
A sheepish yet mischevious grin was on Gregory's face. "Of course you do, Zelda darling. I just thought you'd want to help out your son with some of your battle accumen."
"Of course I want to help him out, but..."
"Mummy, pleeeeeeease?"
With a defeated scowl, Zelda muttered "Fine" before walking quickly into the house.
Gregory looked sheepishly after her, "Well... I'm in bad books tonight. Looks like I'm sleeping on the sofa."
Luka laughed and shook his head, "Dad..."
Something felt like it had changed in the McFly household. Gregory and Zelda hadn't fought for years. There had just been the few major arguments after Kim's death and then nothing. Luka had no clue what had changed but... Maybe his mother was struggling with the concept of her eldest leaving home to go on his journey. She had readied herself for it when he was ten and maybe now she had gotten used to the expectation that he would be coming home and getting a job and seeing him prepare to go on a journey now was too much. He'd have to ask her in the morning.

Robert knelt down to the Munna there and looked over them while Garnet was providing some light with a sustained flame from her hand. Even though the man healed them with potions, he wanted to see if they were alright. He gently pet the head of one of the Munna there and looked at the herd as a whole. "Are you all alright?" he asked in a calm and concerned tone of voice. Beatrix would use Wish to help fully recover the Munna and Musharna that were there if they needed any extra care.

Xavier was launched right into the soon released Krookodile. He swmirked, finally having a worthy adversary instead of simple trash. While the alligator was down, he quickly launched an ice punch at the pokemon, keeping type advantages in mind. In theory, this fights would be very simple for the sneasel, but anything can happen. Santa quickly flew higher to dodge the iron ball chunk. Instead, it went flying towards the leader of team plasma, and would hit the back of his head, unless he saw it coming and got out of the way. She quickly flew around to her trainer, aiding Xavier in his fight against the Krookodile. She began to dive from her flight, aimed stright for the Krookodile.

The group had fallen down the chasm, so the iron ball had long since been lost long before it was ever conceivably a threat to Albert, the grunt leader. The battle had begun now, right and proper.
Xavier launched, with no real move apparently, right at Krookodile, his Ice Punch coming out as the Krookodile stood tall. From above came Santa and Krookodile would jump backward, letting Xavier's Ice Punch hit Santa unless the two dodged.
Regardless, at the zero distance he'd release an Incinerate at the duo, aiming to torch them.

The Munna, which had already been healed, were still unconscious. Save for the shift of one toward the center. His eyes fluttered open and, instead of the aching pain, he felt alive, refreshed. A blink of the eyes and the Munna floated upward and began to scan the hall.

"Y-yeah..." Avan managed to reply to the boy who had pretty much just saved his a**; but at that, the question if Avan was ok was quite a strange one, especially from someone who was clearly more beat up than the brown-haired boy; who had only sustained a punch to the face, which was bleeding, swelling, all that good stuff, and a bruise or two to his butt from falling like a complete idiot...twice, and over his own feet non-the-less.
"But aren't you hurt?" Avan asked the boy, who was now doing battle with the Liepard, whose eyes reminded him of a certain gym leader. There wasn't, and couldn't be, any denying that. As long as Avan had eyes to see the injured intervener. "Shouldn't you-"
He was interupted by Kali pulling on his pant leg. She pointed at the lady to make sure Avan was still aware. The boy nodded. Back to silver-haired boy, "Are you sure you can fight?" He half-hoped the answer would be a yes, and was half-cursing himself for being so selfish. After all, Avan wasn't doing so great by himself.

The lady, Becca, who was pointed out, lay in a hump, foaming at the mouth with a thousand mile stare.
As for her partner, Liepard? She was caught in a bind. She didn't know about the dig, though. So, as she jumped over the claw and came down toward Iron Hide the other Pokemon would explode from the ground with a Dig.
The Drilbur's claws stuck in her side and she, instead of crying out, used a Snarl point blank range. It was all she could do. The attack, of course, would explode downward, aimed to hit Drilbur before he could escape and then carry on down to slam into Iron Hide, who, by the way, is still paralyzed.

"o-of course!" came his reply, as solid as steel itself. "if my Pokemon can still fight then why shouldn't I?" he asked, though his body fought him with every move he made. he then took to the note of the concern in the Brown haired boys tone, "don't worry about me, honestly. i can rest later. right now we have to worry about getting the other people outta here" his own voice thick with concern for the others safety, after all, he had already seen first hand how strong, and with-out mercy these opponents were.
that was it, after taking a direct hit from a fire fang from a sandile earlier in the day plus the point blank range snarl combined with the impact damage from colliding with his own comrade was enough to knock out the mole Pokemon. Turning his attention away from the one named Avan Tk withdrew Spike with a flash of red light as he was recalled into his pokeball to regain strength, "you did great spike" whispered the trainer as he went right into his next attack.
"Iron Hide, Shock wave!" he called, and Iron Hide complied, attacking with a swift shocking attack during a momentary laps in his paralysis. the high speed lightning attack would hopefully make contact seeing as how the Liepard would have little time to recover after being struck directly from Spikes claws.

If the boy said he was fine, then Avan wouldn't hold himself responsible for anything the other boy continued to endure. He could 'rest later' as he put it. However, ending it now would be in both their best options.
"Kali," The ghost pokemon at his leg perked up. "We'll help." She nodded and jumped bavk into battle, firing another Night Shade at the Liepard.
"Others?" Avan asked quietly; the question mostly being to himself.

Unable to dodge in mid air, the attacks crashed into Liepard, sending her flying away and to the ground hard, unconscious, bringing an end to Avan's battle.

After coming back to consciousness at the EMT's main office Kijin had been given a recap as to the events that had evaded him apparently a piece of the building had landed on his head knocking him out cold and the only reason he wasn't fried in the fire was because of his Blitzle that was with him. Then short after the firefighters and paramedics had arrived and addressed the situation having put all his pokemon back in their pokeballs and finding out why the buidling was the way it was from some of the people at the scene they got him up and brought him back to the main office to rest and recover. But it wasn't long that after getting told about what had happened he was chewed out hard for the actions he had done and how reckless he was with this idea let alone trying to do it on his own.
This chewing out went on for a good portion of time before he was let go and sent on his way. Kijin slowly exits the building rubbing his head a little before feeling the bandages and stitches that were put there to let the wound heal but better or worse he was ok and he still has all his pokemon."Well I guess that teaches me to jump on any situation or at least without thinking it through completely." He says to himself a little feeling a little beat up he looks around a little and sighs,"Well might as well head to the next town not much else for me here now since the pokemon center is gone anyway."

"Stop the Roggenrola," Jeffery said as he jumped at Henrietta. He pulled the girl off his Sandile easily, tackling her to the ground. The sandile quickly twisted and dashed at Frate - whether he made it in time to stop the Poke ball from being opened or not would be determined in the next post, but he did attempt to Crunch down on the rock pokemon anyway with his mighty jaws.

Eunmi's arms, held up for blocking, swiftly moved to catch the woman's head in one palm and the other to catch the woman's wrist. She pulled the arm down (pulling Leonarda's body forward) while pushing her other arm up and out (against Leonarda's face), while at the same time wrestling her leg free.
