The Suzu no Oto was annoying, so the Kazekage set bits of her ringing out of phase, thereby canceling the sound's effects on her.

It seemed they were finally on a level playing field, and true to her nature, Bast had been quite literal in her interpretation of that phrase. Now that her blatant disregard for the meanings of structures had been made apparent and some kid had been scared senseless, she felt like doing some landscaping. All of this, and she had only been on the job for a few hours. She hadn't even said hello to the schoolchildren yet! In her anger at the poor timing of terrorists, the woman punched the ground and swore. At the same time, she activated Oukashou and caused rock and debris to fly upward around her. The damage caused by those would likely pop the Akane-clone like a balloon and trip up the Chakra Monster.

It occurred to the Kazekage that they might need a backboard for their fight, so while her hand was down near the ground, she felt compelled to grab a fistful of dirt. When she lifted upward, a square wall 15 inches thick and 25 feet to a side peeled upward off the ground. The wall rose and separated the fighting Shinobi from the Village. Of course, it would have the added bonus of exposing anything just underground, which was nice.

San moved in perfect harmony with Bast sensei, already knowing that she would aim to handle the chakra monster. Reaching out with his right hand to the wall, the masked Satetsu quickly clinched his hand, compressing the iron sand in a ballistic manner, aiming to crush the feet and ankles of Akane. He wasnt so worried about his body parts, as if they could make Akane "not" insane then those wounds were simply healed by the resident medicine man James.

Floating above the massive explosion that Bast created, San noticed the use of shadow clone from akane as well as the lack of puppets. With his eyes already closed, the Sannin activated his Kagura shingan, just to search the village to see if their was any other activity.

Akane felt it, the feeling of his ankles and feet being crushed, he yelled aloud and like a balloon poofed into smoke. Most Shadow Clones could take an equivalent amount of pain as much as half the orignal could take, so the clone had met his match. The chakra monster on the other hand was destroyed completely. It was quiet for a second, but just as it felt it was safe a puppet jumped out of the ground, it was Kakusu, the concealer puppet. the Camouflager puppet that Akane created and had only been seen by Manfread. It's mesh face had the look of a demon and its cloak dark and ragged. The hands were huge, and each finger was a blade while chains much like the Kirigakure brother's interlocked gauntlets. The puppet was right beside San and the claws moved at great speed's as it went to swipe at him. the edges of the weapon dripping with purple poison. No strings were located on the puppet, not even chakra strings, this was a phenomenon puppet.

"Meet us at the Shopping district if you want to save your precious village." said the voice, the chains shot out at aimed for the newcomer, Satori, he was now a package that could be valuable and if he died, the morale of Bast and San would take yet another blow of despair and failure.

Chains were something that Bast could handle. San was not paying attention, though, so she had to thoroughly take care of the puppet before it could do any damage. Her ankles blurred for a moment before she appeared in the chain's path. She grabbed the chain and yanked, hopefully dragging the puppet away from San. Satori was gone before she knew it, but that did not mean the danger was gone. If the puppet was incoming, she would use another Oukashou to destroy it. If it wasn't, she would summon Mononoke.

San's kagura shingan confirmed the arriving puppets claim, as he found the chakra signature surely sitting there. Not being one to be taken by surprise, but thankful Bast was on the ball, San had his own method of dealing with attacks like this. With a quick surge of chakra, a puff of white smoke appeared behind San, which was quickly disrupted by movement. It was Millenius, San's body guard and sheer bad a** golem, that was in motion now, taking its huge sword and aimed a single downward cut to take the arm of the puppet aiming for San. Quickly changing gears, the golem then aimed a powerful round kick in the form of a Leaf Strong whirlwind, aiming to cause some damage and send the puppet flying in the direction of Bast...adding force to her collision. San allowed his iron sand to mold with the chains and move the chains in the direction of bast, to add even more power to her impact. If this didnt help, then he had other ways of helping.

As Bast gripped the chain she would feel a p***k on her skin, Kakusu let out a hissing sound as the two went in to attack, but as Bast yanked on the chains Kakusu shifted to the side and put his arm out that the chain was connected to, the sword of Millenius chopped off the wooden arm and Kakusu, as fast as the slice happened, The Puppet performed the movement Kugutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu and appeared ear the broken body of Ereni. The one arm left and gripped Ereni's opposite arm, putting it's foot on Ereni's broken chest ripped off the arm of Ereni and held it up to the empty socket the now decapped arm used to stay. Threads came out of the puppet and stabbed into the arm, holding it in place.

The puppet paused and looked in the direction of Bast, she probably had noticed by now, the chains were not ordinary chains... the had small prongs and blades, coated in the purple liquid which made even the stronger fall to the ground. Kakusu's main purpose was to silently assassinate with pricks and jabs, but he could also be used in the ways of a tool, he would carve his opponents. Kakusu moved his bladed fingers to one side, his index finger blade, which was about two feet long, pointed out, while the rest made a fist. His stance resembled that of a Shunkan no Hagane style user. The other arm went into his cloak and gripped a scroll. The puppet then used the Shunshin again appearing in front of Bast, through the mesh of the face a grin of sharp teeth could be vaguely traced. If Bast did not act now, she would get a Sword Drawing Technique from the Shunkan no Hagane style, as the poison dripping index blade began to rise in great speed to slash at her chest.

Bast felt nothing as the barbs met her steel body and found no purchase on her. The poisonous liquid coated her hands, but never entered her body. Mononoke, freshly summoned, disappeared almost immediately to parts unknown but well outside the containment area. In the golem's place was a small, black marble that Bast put a foot on while performing hand seals. A small flame leaped up from the orb just as the puppet appeared next to her, but it was time for her to do what she did best: Cause a massive firestorm.

She flew upward like a rocket as Assassin's Rush activated. The poison rolled off of her body because of the friction with the air, but that was merely a bonus on the flaming cake of death that was the secondary effect: All of the wind that had launched her upward not only kick up sand and dirt, but also burst into a raging inferno due to the marble. At the very least, the ground would be reduced to ash and molten sand. San would have to be careful in dealing with the technique, but at least he had seen the strategy before in his spars with Bast and probably knew that she had a little too much fun whenever fire appeared on the battlefield.

San mearly sighed as Bast created a fire storm...again...and knew what his part of the collaborative plan was to get rid of the nasty creation of the now Crazy akane. Millenius and San descended to the ground away from the forming fire storm on his iron sand cloud, with Millenius in front and the iron sand forming a barrier to protect the Sannin ninja. Part of his particle technique began to clump and breeze around the puppet, allowing him to use his Iron sand Clog technique. After this, the protected jiton user began to form a few quick hand seals, using the doton technique "arijigoku." The ground beneath the hopefully stuck puppet would become quick sand holding it in place, allowing Basts epic blaze of glory to cook and destroy the puppet

The Puppet had fail Hardcore, it was burnt to a blaze, only leaving small charred peices, in the flames as it burnt, a small poof of smoke was seen, this was the clone inside the puppet dispersing into death. All that was left was... the Shopping District.

Bast came to the same conclusion about the puppet, but did not voice it. She landed in a mound of sand several seconds later, waited for Mamoru's barrier to drop, and then retrieved her variable marble.

"Thanks!" she called over to the helpful people.

Mononoke appeared once more and pulled her bow out of her fur cloak. With a nod toward San, the woman and her golem disappeared toward the shopping district, a thin trail of metal dust following them.

After the Mamoru's went into action, San allowed a small smile to creep across his tanned blindfolded face. He had a small flashback to the last time Suna's now "legendary Sannin" went into action to defend their beloved village. Adding in a small nod of thanks to the help, San pulled Millenius aboard his cloud of Iron sand and took off in the direction of the Shopping district once Mamoru dropped his barrier.

A human-sized figure would plummet from the sky, creating an impact crater upon landing into the ground. If one got close enough to examine said crater, they'd find a deep pit of sand, soft enough to cushion a huge fall. Suddenly, a small tremor would spread from the pit of sand, before all of the sand shot upwards as if it were a geyser, revealing once it began to fall back down a very familiar figure... to some. Ganchou Omake, supposedly deceased former ANBU of the village, floated gently in the air on a small cloud of sand. Wrapped in the robes of the Kazekage, similar yet slightly different to that of Mamoru's, his arms were crossed and head down as the sand began to settle. In an instant, his head would snap up and focus on the closest Avatar, revealing instead of the normal deep blue eyes, a ferocious blood-colored iris.

If one listened carefully, they could hear the barest whisper of a word, one simple word:

"Freedom"
