Vivian nodded to the man. "Very Well. Thank you Sergeant Skelly." The girl would say before bowing for him. The bow felt wrong but, she had to keep playing this charade of being a good UHV girl. Without another word, Vivian would leave to find Katherine waiting outside. "Oh hey Katherine." Vivian would say to the girl with a bright smile. "How's training going?"

Katherine gave the girl her signature wave, a long arc that was almost a circle, and one handed. The beginnings of the smile were playing across her lips when Vivian flashed her own, and to her question Katherine framed her response carefully. "Well, it's good to be able to do things and be out of the hospital. Been too long, as it were. And yourself?" sheasedd her. She would motion for her to follow as she walked away from the guards, keeping shoulder to shoulder with the girl in order to keep her voice low. Pending the girl's response to the pleasantries, Kat would continue. "As a matter of fact, Belamos sent me to let you know that the two of us were planning to go to Takumi. I believe he wanted you to know you could meet us there, but I think since I came all this way you might as well come with. What do you think? Been a while since we enjoyed each other's presence, no?"

Vivian gave a much more conserved wave back to the girl. "I've been good. Just doing my part for the village." The girl would say in response. "We're glad that you're finally out of the hospital though. It was getting lonesome with just Belamos being around." Vivian would smile and nudge Katherine's shoulder playfully with her own. "I'd be happy to go with you." Vivian would reply to the question of going to Takumi. "Lead the way."

Katherine did finally let out a smile when she was nudged. She could certainly see how one could be drained of their will to live from being around him too long with no one else to interact with. Katherine, however, actually had an unending well of social energy as a result of choosing not to socialize very often. Vocally anyway. This didn't stop her from responding to Vivian, however. "I'm glad to hear I was missed. I don't think Belamos even noticed." she shrugged. Happy to be with her gal-pal, Katherine would walk on forth, her pace normal which would appear to be a mite slow. "If you need to stop for something, we can."

Chigiri Sonozaki, having graduated the ranks of the academy in Otogakure was now on her way to meet with a superior ranking ninja for the finalization of the beginning of her career in the Sound Village. The diplomatic immigrant of the Land of Iron walked up the stairs of the building slowly, her large black rabbit companion in tow. It was one of her more note-worthy traits, outside of her aptitude for bukijutsu and her skills with animals. It was even the reason for her alias she had received during her training. "Let's hope somebody's home to give me the headband, and some direction, Kuro-bun.", she scoffed to her rabbit, which nodded in response to her mistress's remark.
The rabbit was intelligent, and strangely enough to the point were it seemed to act on a human level of thinking. Kuro was trained and bred from a long line of rabbits by a family in the Land of Iron were it was acquired. Kuro, herself, was about as big as a small dog. Her ears stood at attention as the black bunny hopped along behind Chigiri faithfully.
Upon entering the building, her cool blue eyes gazed about the room as Chigiri looked for signs of inhabitance. "Knock, knock..Pull up your pants, you've got visitors who want their headbands.", she called out with her usual laid back, and care-free demeanor. Most would show more respect, or have some formal aura to their mannerisms, but not Chigiri. She came from a yakuza-style crime family. If anything, she felt it was others who should show her respect, not the other way around.

[Format coming soon] Totoko made her way towards the main office. Within her nervously clutched hands was a cluster of papers which amounted to copies of her graduation from the ninja academy. Still Totoko was terrified that she was going to screw up this meeting and be sent back to the academy or worse. As she entered into the office and found her way to where she had to go, the girl was shocked to find another from her class already there. They hadn't shared any lessons together but she had seen the woman around. "S... sorry if I'm interrupting... did you graduate recently too?" Her voice reflected her overall anxiety and her eyes refused to look into Chigiri's as she spoke. The bunny ears atop the girl's head were also drooping in a way which seemed to minimize her presence.

Chigiri caught sound of the approach of Totoko's foot-steps as she entered behind her. Kuro-bun's normally laid back ears perked up at the words spoken. The two were generally in synch on things regarding social interactions and people approaching. In this life, one could not afford to be less than too careful. The black rabbit companion then hopped up on Chigiri's left shoulder and then draped herself across it, using the vantage point to observe the newcomer. "I'm not sure if there's much to interrupt. Just here to get what's ours, right, Kuro-bun?", she said in response before nodding to the large lapin companion who seemed to be watching Totoko with a strange intensity, unlike a normal animal, it seemed to be evaluating her on an intellectual level... with almost human-like intelligence. "Since Kuro hasn't attacked, I guess it's safe to say you're good company... Chigiri Sonozaki, and my friend, Kuro. Pleasure to meet you, miss.", she said in introduction, bowing carefully, and slightly, so as not to disrupt the black rabbit's shoulder perch.
While the two likely had not encounter Totoko before, Chigiri and Kuro, were known about the academy as more of the quiet sorts who rarely felt the need to interact with many outside of themselves. The buki-user, and her companion, were outsiders to these lands. They were familiar with few, and kept it that way due to the fact that Chigiri was the daughter of a crime boss in Iron Country. Not too many people wanted to get in too close with a person linked to a yakuza family. The general fear was that, one wrong move, piss off the wrong person, and you wound up dead. It was this fear that Chi and Kuro used to their advantage in social dealings, even if it was a general detriment to befriending anyone who might know of her familial connections.

Receiving a polite introduction raised the girl's spirits slightly. The pink ears atop her head seemed to perk up a little as her purplish red eyes glanced up to see the cute bunny upon the other girl's shoulder. "Thank you for being so gracious Chigiri, my name is Totoko of the Kurena clan. It is a pleasure to meet you and Kuro-bun both." Her head dipped into a low bow as she showed her respect to the other woman. Upon rising from it she had a nervous smile upon her face. Perhaps the two of them could become friends or would even be serving together? It was an interesting thing to consider and on some level she was actually excited about the prospect.
As they waited for their graduation to be handled Totoko couldn't help but smile at Kuro-bun, she'd always liked rabbits and in many ways identified with them. It was of course hard not to when she had a big pair of ears atop her head. "So um Chigiri... what kind of assignment are you hoping for?" Despite the warming of Totoko's personality, and the amount to which she had left her shell the girl's voice still demonstrated a large degree of uncertainty. Clearly she did not feel at ease though why would be rather unclear given how little they knew of each other.
Horace was still out, but in his place was the calm, cool demeanor of Sergeant Skelly. Aside from the mountains of paperwork, a small bowl of noodles, veggies, and pork floated in a thick ramen broth. The earthy smells drifted down the stairs from the desk he sat at, filling the office door's immediate area with a lunch's buffet of flavors. The right stationed Anbu took an almost imperceptible whiff, and motioned for the two recent grads to enter, assuming that all weapons were left at the door.
Sergeant J. Skelly:
"You Shall Be Assimilated."

'The Black Rabbit' and her companion shrugged as the ANBU operatives motioned for them to step forward into the presence of Sergeant Skelly. Keeping careful mind not to step on any toes, Chigiri left her katana in it's scabbard, outside the door as she approached with Kuro draped over her shoulder. "Pleasure, sir. Chigiri Sonozaki, recent graduate, reporting in alongside Kuro.", the raven haired genin-prospective said with a slight, and respective bow of her head.
The large black rabbit was menacing enough to men, as it hated them, apparently due to some form of abuse in it's earlier training. The eerie lapin companion simply glared at Skelly the entire time, keeping a careful watch on the man, even if he was an allied personnel operative. One might spot an occasional twitch of the ear or a vibration of a whisker as she pawed and cleaned her face idly during her watchful demeanor of the sergeant.
Before she could continue her conversation with Chigiri they were called forth to no doubt receive their headbands. It was unfortunate that they didn't get more time to chat before things got all official and scary. Being well aware of the rules around the village, Totoko was quick to remove her sword and sheath from her supporting belt, as well as all of her thrown weapons. These would be given to the ANBU for safe keeping while she spoke with Kelly. A wave of excitement washed over the girl as she stepped beyond the threshold and into the man's office. This was it, she was finally going to be a real ninja of the UHV.
Ears perking up a bit, though still quite cautious, she would step up alongside Chigiri and give her own introduction. "Totoko of the Kurena, graduate of class B." The end of her words was punctuated by a rather respectful bow. Hopefully she would receive a good assignment after obtaining her mark of being a full ninja. More training would also suit her fine though. The art of genjutsu was difficult and she still had a lot to learn on that front. The other thing she was hoping for was that if she received assignment to a team, that her comrades were nice people. The idea of getting paired with a bunch of meanies was definitely scary.
Two young ladies approached as Skelly consumed his lunch. Placing his chopsticks across the lip of the bowl, due to no proper holder, the large man reached for his napkin. Listening to Chigiri and Totoko, as well as taking note of the large rabbit, the Sergeant quickly retrieved the headbands and patches. "The headband is standard issue for shinobi of Otogakure, while the 'Company 7b' patch is issued from inductance into the U.H.V. forces. Both must be worn for proper identification." Sliding two sets to the far edge of the desk, Skelly kept a third available if Chigiri asked for one for her animal companion. "Chuunin Belamos will be your guide for training, but if you wish for a tough mission, seek me out. Any questions?"
Sergeant J. Skelly:
"You Shall Be Assimilated."

Kuro made a grunting sound as Chigiri retrieved her headband and patch, tying the first around her head and the patch placed on her left shoulder. "Seems that Kuro would like her own as well, sir.", she remarked, motioning to the rabbit which seemed to affirm this by giving a nod to Sergeant Skelly. "As far as your offer for a tough mission, maybe after some training and refining of skills."
Once Kuro would likely be given her own village identification and U.H.V. badge, the two would step back and bow formally. The rabbit folding her ears back and lowering her head, which was entertaining to say the least. It was all apart of the fact that the companion did not like Skelly, and was doing all it could to appease the process and move it along swiftly.

"Power resides where men believe it resides....
Icy grey eyes scanned the room around him as the boy walked past two women that were leaving the building. Akura was an immigrant from the land of wind, but had lived his entire life in the village of sound, he had an okay life, nothing to complain about other than the general instability the village had experienced in the recent years. He was neither a believer not a critic of the current regime, he was just a soldier, and would do what he was told, not because he believed in those above him, regardless of who it was, not out of an ideological imperative, but out of a sense of loyalty, not to the person, but to the institution. He was loyal to the village hidden in the sound, not to the otokage, the president or the lord of the land. He would fight for the side that would bring prosperity to his land, regardless of who that was. And for the time being, it was the UHV. Reaching the office, he had been directed to, his pasty white hand hit the door three times, and entered only once he was called in. Once inside, he bowed and said: “My name is Akura Bashirou, I was sent here to receive my military credentials and orders, sir.” Before he began talking, he straightened, and stood in attention until the president told him to go at ease.
Totoko's eyes beamed with the excitement of a youth enraptured by the powers that be. Her dull crimson purple eyes looked over the symbols of her new position for a moment before she hesitantly took the two from Skelly. Her touch was gentle and reserved, almost as if she believed that using too much force or moving too quickly would cause the dream to shatter. The patch was pocketed for later as she would have to sow it on at home, but the headband was eagerly applied to her forehead. Though it was hidden by her thick pink hair the girl was proud to represent the shinobi of the UHV. She bowed deeply before looking to Chigiri. "Training is probably in my own best interests as well. Perhaps later we could do a mission together Chigiri and Kuro-bun?"
She waited a moment for the other girl's answer before she turned to leave. However as she began walking without looking where she was going, the girl ran straight into the newcomer. With the great difference in size between the two of them and her own rather fragile physique, Totoko was knocked straight onto her a** in front of everyone. She looked skyward from the ground with ears that seemed rather frightened as she gazed up the man. "S.. s.. My apologies!" she blurted out before her cheeks turned red. Without waiting for an answer she scrambled to her feet and hurried out of the office. [exit]
