The moment that Fukumi heard the electromancer break out into a mad laughter, she begun a slight retreat. He had insight of something that she didn't, and that could be dangerous. As his eyes glowed, she pushed off the ground and distanced herself even more. Landing in a tree, with the grace of a sloth, her body doubled over on the branch was far enough away to avoid the attack. Hair on end from all the static dispersal, her eyes averted from the light.
Once the charge had dissipated, she propped herself up into a sitting position so she could see the damage. Had paranoia not been a common part of a ninja's skills, she would have been caught up in the destruction as well. "Idiot. Laugh at the last moment, when it's too late."
Fukumi's hands began to glow with a blue aura as she focused her chakra into them. Touching her different wounds, they began healing up. Thank goodness for no broken bones. Waste too much energy to fix up. Pulling out banage wraps too, she reinforced her leg and arm. The battle wasn't over yet, and who knew how many more had yet to be taken care of.
Dropping to the ground, she thought that Katan would be happy to have the skies clear to fly in again. Taking no chances that the electromancer could possibly be revived, she removed his head from his body. Fukumi began her run back to the village, and picked up the pace once she saw what Aitai brought out.
=====
Katan stabbed the necromancer when they came in to their nose-to-nose range. His target was to leave a long, gaping wound across the abdomen, given the split second to change trajectories. The illusion spell took hold after he threw in two swipes of his swords.
Suddenly finding himself all alone, the pirate was a little confused but ever diligently alert. It would have been one thing if only the necromancer and Nakhti had vanished from sight, but not everyone. Hell's Gate wasn't something that you could easily hide, yet even it was missing from the scene.
The ground began to tremble. Soon enough, the entire horizon was falling apart, and everything was being sucked into a void.
Katan managed to move his wings and took to the sky. His face showed the signs of fear.
As the world was being vanquished, Katan tried to get the winds blowing. They heeded not his beckoning. Magic wasn't working and it seemed that he was at the very nexus of the destruction. In every direction the void was drawing closer, and there wasn't a thing that Katan could do about it. Well, there was one thing.
In the air, Katan began moving a hand towards his eye patch. All captains had them, regardless of if they were missing an eye. Switching the patch over, a blood-red, beastial eye now gazed out on the world, while his other became covered up. The slit eye glanced downward, spotting the necromancer fighting Nakhti. Foul trickery!
Within a clenched fist, air began to gather and form a spear.
=====
The girl watched as the boulders were being flung up at her, and all she did was smile like a cocky child. She wasn't afraid, and certainly showed it. As the first boulder exploded, the skull mantle re-shaped into a protective barrier. It did this out of it's own accord, without command. "Shame, shame. That trick won't be working again."
Against the weight of the golems, the door began to crack open anyways. Fire spewed forth in four short bursts. Then came the chattering. Legions of demons were anxiously awaiting for the door to open more. The chains and padlock were still in place, though it wouldn't prevent a partial opening.
Aitai began to mutter and casting a spell. One chain began glow omniously. It bubbled, but did not break.
With only a crack of the door open, gremlins, imps, and pixies began pouring out.
The gremlins had their pitchforks, which they used against the beasts of earth. Individually, they could not do significant damage. But they climbed, rising up and massing like another skin over the earth. Spear and claw, claw and spear, they tore into the beasts, breaking away entire sections. Those that fell were quickly replaced as the fallen recovered and formed rank to climb up once again.
The imps were vile creatures, their tannish skin stank of sulfer. With disregard of the village, they began hurling their fireballs at everything in their sight. Any building that may have had a chance of survival was now going to be seeing it's end to the fel energies.
Pixies were a unique species in their variety. Some were winged, some earthly, others were miniature people with very sharp teeth. They took after the geomancer, whom they saw as defiling the natural order of the lands. Those that had to travel upon the ground rained a barrage of arrows and spears, which was the equivilent of raining spines upon a person. The flyers used their magic of a variety of elements and began casting bolts of water, fire, and ice at the mage. One stray group of pixies planted a seed and begun casting their magic on that.

(EDIT: But I needed some sleep. Woke up with a keyboard impression on my face today. xd )
The first chain broke, and a roar exploded from behind the door. In the crack that had been opened, a glowing red orb of an eye appeared. The doors inched wider out against the strength of the golems as four clawed fingers emerged. Whatever was inside, it was pushing out.
With a larger space now cleared, a new batch of demons began to pour out. Hellhounds, Satyrs, and Kobolds joined in the escape of their entrapment. As they exited the door into the bloody rain of rocks, the Satyrs lifted up their shields in defense as they navigated through the spiked terrain.
Aitai smiled from behind the skull shielding. She didn't need to see the hordes coming out of the gate to savour the masses. Laughing for a moment, a new spell was now being cast, and another chain began to glow. It was illuminated only, with the hint of bubbling like the chain before it.
Some of the skulls were breaking from the barrage of exploding stones. For each one that was destroyed, another would roll up and fill it's place, renewing the defense.
The Satyrs charged the wall the geomancer was hiding behind, sword and shield in hand. As they reached it, they lept up atop of it before descending the other side. Bloodstained, and battered from surviving their great exit, they made their way to attack the mage.
Some of the Kobolds and Hellhounds were surviving, but many were being killed in the spiky field. Two golems were not being attacked, and the kobolds set to work on them. They were suiciders, carrying their explosives. Digging them into the feet of the golems, they detonated the charges.
=====
Fukumi made a quick stop before reaching the village. She had exhausted some of her supplies in the battle against the electromancer. Moving aside a small rock that was perfectly in it's place, there was a crate hidden beneath. It was a despot of kunai and explosive notes.
After restocking her puches, she replaced the rock and made headway to the village again. Taking note of what fights were still going on, she had to decide which one she'd join in the battle. Many mercenaries were already dead, the village was aflame, and she was the only one not in combat.
=====
Katan finished forming the spear of air. Without the cyclone encompassing the village anymore, he couldn't make them enmass. It didn't seem like the necromancer had yet realized that his spell was broken.
Gliding swiftly down, he threw the spear at the mage's back, aiming for the heart. Without waiting to see the effect of his attack, Katan soared overhead and away from that particular fight. I can't work with that brat anymore. No coordination. As he was flying away in search for another to attack, he was searching his mind for any previous fights against necromancers. Nothing. At least, not anything where the dark mage would get into physical combat.
