Kiri smiled "here are you choices take the scroll and train further into your style of combat or choose to spar with me to see how far along you are in your training" she said as he spoke to her about the seven swordsmen as she smiled "So far the Mizukage has locked the swords under house and key no one can get them right now but soon I am sure she will allow the use of the weapons" she said with a smile

Breath thought it over a moment. "Give me the scroll. Once I have trained farther in my style, I would love to spar, and put the skills to use."

"Don't think. Breathe."

Breath took the scroll, and nodded. "Thanks." He said before turning, and walking over to the side, to train.
_____________
Sadai Shinpuku

Breath began by reading over the scroll for the technique. It seemed simple enough, but at the same time, it would be easy to mess up. He studied the form of it intently.
[1/7]

Breath then started. He began the way it was written to be, to understand the move. he placed the tip of his staff on the ground, and put his hands ni the center for a good hold, and started slow. He swung the staff upwards, careful to account for the leftover momentum. in his thought process.

[2/7]

Breath then started moving faster. He still wasn't up to speed, but the momentum had him concerned. Breath placed the weapon on the ground, and swung it up with force. He put forth effort to slow it down at the end before it carried him away. He nodded, then continued.

[3/7]

Breath finally swung at full force. He put his staff to the ground, and swung with all his might. As the move claimed, some rocks and dirt shot up into the air, but weren't a problem for Breath. His problem was that he swung too hard. He stumbled backwards a few steps from the force of it, then stopped himself.

[4/7]

Breath adjusted it for his staff, trying different things. He put one hand on each of the grips, put the staff on the ground, and swung. He could pull with his left hand and push with his right hand, which got him a lot of force. By reversing those, he stopped the staff very easily. He noted this, then moved on.

[5/7]

Breath moved into hind stance, to practice. He first just swung the weapon around from his back, but it was too long. It just bounced off the ground, swinging weakly in front of him. Breath readjusted.

[6/7]

Breath tried a second time. He brought his staff around more diagonally than intended, but it still worked. The pressure kicked some dirt off the ground, and the hit would have shattered anything in range. Satisfied, Breath moved on to the next move.

"Don't think. Breathe."

Breath decided to skip Hiki. It wasn't required to graduate from the style, and the next techniques seemed like a better use of the style. Considering how thin his weapon of choice was, the defensive techniques also were not useful. He moved on.

__________________________
Taikutsuna Sutoraiki (Dull Blade)

Breath began by reading over this move a few times. He wanted to know the finer things of this move before he could continue.

[1/10]

Breath began by practicing the Soin, as this was just a variation. He put both hands on his staff, holding it in hind stance. He bent his knees a bit, twisted, and swung his staff about powerfully. It whistled against the air in front of him. But he had gotten stronger since he last trained. He didn't stop, sending him stumbling a bit.

[2/10]

Breath started again. He swung slowly, correctly accounting for starting force, ending force, and the weight. His staff remained a constant weight, but his starting and ending force got stronger. He had to readjust. He made a couple of slow swings, focusing on stopping exactly strong enough.

[3/10]

Breath began again. After swinging a couple of times, he found a good balance. The swing was fast enough to be hard to dodge, powerful enough to crush bones, but still stopped before it threw him off balance. He knew he'd have to do this without thinking, since he'd be focusing on chakra.

[4/10]

Breath sat down, holding his weapon in his lap. He put both hands on it, and moved into the State of control. He felt through his chakra, and in his heightened state, it flowed very easily.

[5/10]

Breath pushed the chakra into his staff, then pulled it back out. He wanted to make his staff a part of him - as much as his arms, legs, and his own beating heart.

[6/10]

Breath stood up and took the hind stance. He flowed chakra into his weapon, then moved very slowly through the move. He took slow, deliberate steps to turn around, then brought the staff slowly in front of him. At this point, he barely noticed its weight.

[7/10]

Breath went again. He took hind stance, put his chakra into Jibu, then swung at full force. He didn't release any chakra, not yet doing the move. But he was able to keep the chakra in the weapon throughout the swing.

[8/10]

He went back into hind stance, brought up his weapon, turned around, and swung at full force. Throughout the swing, he let out a burst of chakra during the swing. The chakra flew out in a horizontal line, only going a foot or so in front of him.

[200 - (20/2) = 190ck]
[9/10]

Breath moved back for a final swing. He charged his weapon with chakra, spun, and swung ferociously in front of him. The strike could have shattered an average man's torso, and the wave of chakra sent splinters flying from a few nearby trees. Breath smiled, and moved on.

[190 - (20/2) = 180 ck]
[10/10], Dull Blade Learned
_________
Nibui Sasu

Breath dropped into the state of normality for a minute, while he studied. No reason to exhaust himself while he wasn't doing anything. He looked over this next move, and it seemed quite similar. He still read it intently.

[1/10]

Breath once again began by practicing the move beneath the special technique. He did Sasu. He started in the fore stance, holding both hands towards the bottom of his staff. He stepped back on his right foot, pivoted, then stepped forward, and thrusted Jibu forward as hard as he could. His new found strength made him stumble very slightly, so he stopped.

[2/10]

Breath did Sasu again. He thrust Jibu forward, accounting for his newer strength in doing so. The stab was more powerful than ever, but still controlled.

[3/10]

Breath tried Sasu with his personalized grip. He grabbed the staff at one heavy end and one hand grip, pivoted back, then stepped forward and thrust. It was much easier to control, but still just as powerful. This method, was less ranged, but with the new move, it would be much easier.

[4/10]

Breath sat down, setting Jibu in his lap once more. He went into the state of control, and concentrated on flowing his chakra into Jibu.

[5/10]

Breath stood up, and slowly moved through the motions of the thrust. He brought it back, and thrust it forward, slowly flowing the chakra as though he would do the move, but never releasing it. He recovered the chakra.

[6/10]

Breath brought back his staff a second time, this time, going at full speed. He stabbed forward with his full strength, making sure not to stumble this time. He still kept his chakra.

[7/10]

Now, Breath intended to attempt the move. He grabbed the handle and heavy end of the staff, pivoted back, charged Jibu with chakra, and stabbed. Chakra flew out, traveling a couple of feet before collapsing into a small mist of chakra. It would do no damage.

[180 - (20/2) = 170]
[8/10]

Breath tried once more. He charged Jibu with chakra, pivoted, and stabbed at the empty air. He launched a beam of chakra, but when it hit a tree in front of him, it barely did any damage at all. The beam spread out too much.

[170 - 20/2 = 160]
[9/10]

Breath gave it a third try. He charged Jibu with chakra, brought it back, and stabbed forward. A beam of chakra shot out, slamming into a tree with great force. Breath smiled, and moved on.

[160 - 20/2 = 150]

"Don't think. Breathe."

Breath was excited for this part of the style. It looked incredibly fun. He stayed in the state of control for another minute or so.

___________________________________
Bakuhastu no Ugoki (Explosive Movement)

As usual, Breath started by studying the move intensely. He read carefully how to put chakra into his legs, which was no small feat.

[1/10]

In order to train for this move, Breath started by climbing trees. This move was dependent on charging his legs with chakra, so the art of tree climbing would help this. He jumped over to a tree, which he had recently hit with his earlier training, and began to scale it. However, he was still in the state of control, and without thinking, he simply flung himself off of the tree.

[2/10]
[150 - 10/2 = 145 ck]

Breath got back up, a little embarrassed he messed up a genin move. He focused a little less chakra, though still coming up with more than enough chakra to accomplish the move. He ran, climbed up the tree, and hung upside down from it at the top. He looked down, and got another idea.

[3/10]
[145 - 10/2 = 140ck]

Breath started to walk slowly down the tree. Rather than fighting against gravity, he simply tried to remain perpendicular to the tree, while gravity wanted him to run and fall at full speed down the tree. He took step by step, until he reached the ground slowly.

[4/10]
[140 - 10/2 ck = 135 ck]

Now Breath moved out of the state of control, going into the State of Power. He could feel his muscles surging with energy. Instantly, Breath threw off his weapon and bag, and began running laps around the dojo, going at his regular running speed. All the while, he played with moving chakra into his legs, feelings how it moved about when he ran.

[5/10]

After a few laps, Breath began sprinting. He ran as fast as he thought he could, which was pretty fast in his heightened physical state. While running, he also had to focus on how to put chakra in his legs, and how to account for this rapid movement.

[6/10]

Something was missing. Breath skidded to a stop, then saw it. He didn't have Jibu on him! He was missing 100 lbs of weight in his training. He went over, picked up the staff, and held it in hind stance. The new weight threw off his balance. Breath resumed sprinting, going in laps around the dojo.

[7/10]

Breath slowed to a stop, getting a little bit tired. But he pressed on. He tried the actual move. He charged up his legs with chakra, and dashed forward. It wasn't much faster than his regular speed, though. He needed to go almost 20 meters at blinding speed, though he knew he wouldn't get that. Still, he seemed to be missing something.

[8/10]

Breath tried it again, but with the leap. This time, it worked perfectly fine. He leapt over 10 meters at an incredible speed, having to take a few steps at the end to slow down. He panted, then turned around to try again.

[9/10]

Breath started to move out of the State of Power, not wanting it to affect his training. Instead, he moved into the State of Healing. His muscles were getting sore again, and this would cure the aches. He knew the tearing was good, it was making him strong. But no reason for it to hurt. This time, when Breath sprinted, he took longer steps, not just faster ones. Now his steps, which he thought would be weak, sented him forward at blinding speeds, thanks to the fortification of his legs.

[10/10]
__________________________________
Seishin no Shutsugen (Ghost Apparition)

Breath began again by reading the move. intently again, trying to discover what made it work.

[1/10]

Breath started training for the Ghost Apparition move. It wasn't nearly as Ghostly as he thought, but it also expended no chakra, which was a plus. He would need it for later. Breath began by jumping. He dropped Jibu, ran over, and jumped in between the trees. He just jumped from one gap to another, playing with the things he learned in Explosive Movement.

[2/10]

Breath then leaped down, picked up Jibu, and resumed. Holding Jibu while jumping set him off balance, and he had to adjust for this.

[3/10]

Breath continued studying his jumping. This time, during each jump, Breath swung his staff, seeing how that threw him off weight. He did this 10 or so times, then landed on the ground. While normally he'd be tired, the State of Healing helped a lot.

[4/10]

Breath needed to study one more thing. He leaped up into the tree, then simply held Jibu out, and jumped. Just holding Jibu out, the tip of it pulled him downward very rapidly. He just had to angle himself, and his weapon, to cause massive damage.

[5/10]

Breath tried one more thing. He jumped up into the tree, then did a flip before bringing Jibu down. This didn't seem to affect his jump, but it looked totally badass. He made a mental note of that.

[6/10]

Breath was ready to try the actual move. He first set Jibu down, and just practiced the leap. He charged up his legs with chakra, like he was going to do Explosive Movement, but looked up, and leaped high up into the air. He did a slight flip, then landed on the ground.

[7/10]

Breath picked up Jibu, and tried it again. He didn't swing, he just leaped high up into the air, holding his weapon behind his back, then landing harmlessly.

[8/10]

Breath was ready to actually attack. He held Jibu in Hind Stance, leaped into the air, pulled Jibu around, and landed. A hundred pounds of staff hit the ground, causing incredible damage to... nothing.

[9/10]

Breath tried one more variation. He held Jibu in fore stance, jumped high up, did a front flip, and slammed Jibu into the ground with enough force to crush bones.

[10/10]

________________________
Katai Ugoki (Otto Movement)

Breath stopped, and took a minute to study the upcoming move. He needed to look it over, knowing the exact footing of the move to get around someone. Meanwhile, his legs rapidly healed from the beating from the last move.

[1/10]

Breath took his stuff, and went into the dojo to find something human-sized. Satisfied by a large dummmy, Breath walked up in front of it, and walked around it very slowly, looking at the spacing surrounding the average person. He hadn't really examined personal space ever, so this was quite interesting to him.

[2/10]

Breath began by setting down his staff, and taking slow long steps around the dummy. He was trying to judge the spacing of his steps.

[3/10]

Breath got confident. He was sure he knew it. He took one step to the side of the dummy, then took his other step to get behind it. But he only got half way there. Breath was too far away, and wasn't nearly fast enough.

[4/10]

Breath took another step back, and examined again. He grabbed Jibu, and moved in to try the move again. He got up way close, and started to step around. However, he was too close. Jibu glanced off of the dummy, sending Breath off balance. He righted himself, then started over.

[5/10]

Breath went over to the tight group of dummies over on the side. He decided this would be a good way to practice. He just walked his way around them, making sure to go fairly fast. Every time he reached a dummy, he stepped around it, then turned to the next closest dummy. He just dodged his way around this "crowd" as much as he could.

[6/10]

Breath finally had a good feel for it, so he isolated one dummy. He stepped around this dummy over and over. He got a little closer and a little farther away, feeling for the exact spot.

[7/10]

Finally, Breath started using his chakra. He fortified his lower body with chakra, and tried again. With the increased speed, he had to adjust, but he quickly got up to his old speed, and faster. It's not good enough...

[8/10]

Breath got anxious. He started going faster and faster. He was pushing the limits of the State of Healing with his impatience. Faster... He went faster and faster, just dashing circles around this dummy. He began to go at blinding fast speeds that would be incredibly hard to act against. It can be better!

[9/10]

Breath did it again. FASTER! To an onlooker, he finally reached the level the move called for. He appeared to be teleporting from the front to the back of the dummy over and over again. Every couple of times, he would punch the dummy, just to mix it up. It was very unpredictable.

[10/10]

_________________________
Yugen no Ken (Unseen Blade)

Breath started with the next move. He would need to redo all the other moves in relation to this new context. He began by reading over the move intently.

[1/13]

Breath finally relaxed, letting his chakra flow easily again. He continued studying the move, he needed to consider all the possible combinations of the move. He placed a single dummy into the middle of the dojo, and examined it from every point of view.

[2/13]

Breath continued to survey this dummy, because nobody reads these, and I'm unoriginal at 1 in the morning, and it would actually make sense in context, since that is the majority of the move.

[3/13]

Breath started trying combinations. He walked up to the dummy, did the Otto Movement around it, then Ghost Apparition-ed backwards, and swung his staff at the empty field. He shrugged. It was a decent move.

[4/13]

Breath tried another one. This time, instead of the Otto Movement, he used Explosive Movement to step around the dummy, then slashed at it. "That's useful."

[5/13]

Breath tried a different one. He did Ghost Apparition, clearing the dummy completely. At the peak of his jump he thrust his staff at him, as though he would use Blunt Stab. He flipped over, then acted as though he would use Dull Blade on the whole way back, down.

[6/13]

Breath tried the next idea he had. It was simple. He feigned a Dull Blade, then leaped over the dummy, stabbing out fake Blunt Stabs the whole way over, even as he turned over. When he landed, he did another Dull Blade, causing chakra to cover the front, back, and both sides of the dummy, while beams of chakra rained down on it.

[7/13]

Breath tried one more idea. He used Explosive Movement four times, making a large diamond around the dummy. At each spot, he faked a Dull Blade, as though he would just rain things down on it.

[8/13]

Breath started trying to go at full speed. By combining the Otto Movement and the Explosive Movement, he teleported all around the dummy, while still staying 10 meters away at each spot.

[9/13]

Breath took a moment to catch his breath, think, and kill time as my originality dies down. He planned out what he would actually do for Unseen Blade, wanting to have several options.

[10/13]

Breath went into the state of control, and started actually trying the move. He started teleporting all around the dummy, using Blunt Stab over and over again. Chakra rained down in beams all over the dummy, tearing it to shreds in seconds. Breath got a new dummy, and tried again.

[11/13]
[145 - 40/2 = 125 chakra]

Breath began a second time. This time, each time he appeared in a new spot, he used a Dull Blade. He sent horizontal waves of chakra raining down from all directions. It was almost unavoidable, because each slash seemed to cover the gaps of the last slash. The dummy took longer to destroy, but it was still obliterated easily.

[12/13]
[125 - 40/2 = 105ck]

Breath finished off another dummy, and this move. This time, he mixed up the Dull Blades and Blunt Stabs. Each Dull Blade was only avoidable in that it put someone into a Blunt Stab. Breath's incredible focus let him plan this out geometrically, and there were no good options for the dummy, if it could move. It was systematically annihilated.

[13/13]
[105 - 40/2 = 85ck]

________________________________
San-Ten Tokko (Three Point Execution)

Breath took a moment to look over this next move. It would be deadly, if he could do it. But he would need to look at it, and catch his breath.

[1/13]

Breath took more time to catch his breath and spend another required post to learn this move, because fourteen is kind of repetitive.

[2/13]

Breath rummaged through his sack, and pulled out both of the optional ends that contained daggers. He drew out both of them, in addition to setting out a dummy. He examined it, looking exactly at the spots he would stab.

[3/13]

Breath started with what the first clone would do. He stood about 10 meters away from the dummy. He focused his chakra, and charged forward with Explosive Movement. He slashed at the dummy's "legs", leaving a satisfying gash in the wood.

[4/13]

Breath jumped backwards to his former spot, then stepped a few steps to his left. He leaped forward this time, also slashing at the legs, but coming at it from the left side, rather than the right. It might be necessary, depending on the enemy. It seemed simple enough.

[5/13]

Breath had to be faster. He charged his legs with chakra, and disappeared. He reappeared in front of the dummy, while slashing its legs. That's more like it.

[6/13]

Breath switched to what the second clone would do. He started by just dashing forward, and stabbing the dummy in the chest. It was quite simple, but it would probably impede into the first clone. He stepped back, and started over.

[7/13]

Breath began again. This time, he dashed in front of the dummy, then used Otto Movement to get around it, and stabbed his back forcefully.

[8/13]

Breath finished off the idea for what the move would do. He disappeared, and reappeared behind the dummy, stabbing its back. He panted a bit in exhaustion, then checked the front. It was slashed, though the move itself was never seen. He smiled.

[9/13]

Breath went ahead and practiced his move, just for rote. He switched out for Jibu, leaving his daggers aside. He dashed forward, and used Sweep to bring Jibu around, slamming it into the dummy's head. The dummy was flung aside, bouncing off the walls. Breath righted the dummy, then went again.

[10/13]

Breath tried a second go at it, customizing it for himself. He dashed forward, then brought his 100lb staff overhead, slamming the dummy against the ground strong enough to tear it to pieces. he got another, then practiced the actual move.

[11/13]

Breath charged up with chakra, and tried the move. He took a single step forward, and two clones appeared beside him, holding the two daggers. All three took the next step, and dashed forward. One of them slashed at the legs. The other was stepping around, and Breath was bringing his weapon overhead. The other clone stabbed the dummy in the back, as Jibu got closer and closer. Finally, the staff slammed the dummy, destroying it.

[85 - 40/2 ck = 65 ck]
[12/13]

Breath did it one more time, for good measure. This time, without bothering to make new clones, Breath and the two vanished. Instantly, they all appeared next to the dummy, slashing, stabbing, and crushing it simultaneously.

"Don't think. Breathe."

((Training Over. This post actually matters to you guys.))

Breath was thrilled, and feeling a bit devious. He looked at his two clones he had out. In a second, he was behind the first, and bashed it aside with his staff. It vanished. He threw his staff at the second, but used Explosive Movement to reach it first. He slammed the bottom end of his staff into the clone, killing it.

Breath sighed, then picked up all his stuff, and went back to Kiri. "Here's your scroll back. Thank you for teaching me so much." He was breathing a little heavy. "But before we do anything else... I would like to go sleep. I'm almost out of chakra, and trying to train more could kill me." He bowed a bit to Kiri, his... sensei? They hadn't ever established whether he was a student or not. He didn't want to offend, so he simply avoided the question. "I will be back eventually, I still need to spar with you, no?"

Breath returned, passing Zane on the way. He nodded to him, then went on to Kiri. Breath got a couple of hours of sleep and some food, and he felt fine. After all, he was still in the state of healing. His body was constantly being repaired, including his need to be tired. (Time paradox ftw) He approached Kiri. "What is next, ma'am?"
