Robby nodded at the victory of the girl. She had won against that thing, and looked a little surprised at it. When she looked towards him, the obese youth gave a sort of thumbs up, but when she said hello to someone, he turned around in surprise.
And there was another person. Had he made eye contact? Hopefully not. That would mean he'd have to deal with a battle or something, right? Well, maybe not really wanting to be a pokemon trainer would mean he didn't have to? "Hello. Nice, er, whatever-that-is." He tried not to point at the Oshawatt.

It'sanadventurethough, you have to take things in life in stride.
Could he discard such an exception to the plan from the equation? The more N thought about it, the more sense it made. Humans weren’t the only ones that could get fooled by being given something that they wanted. Pokemon were just as susceptible. Darumi hadn’t turned himself into an unwanted variable after all. He slid right into the formula perfectly, and it only strengthened the equation at the end-
“Cool Rubic’s cube.”
N looked up at the girl staring down at him with a big smile on her face. She had a happy looking Pansage next to her. Now that he thought about it, N hadn’t ever met a girl his age before. He didn’t know what to say, except for:
“It’s not a Rubic’s Cube. It’s a Menger Sponge,” he corrected before looking back down at the figure. Salieri rolled her eyes. “Cube, sponge, whatever. What’s it for?” she asked as she sat down next to N on the bench, a little too close for comfort. Nevertheless, he remained seated. “Nothing. I just like math,” he mumbled. “Huh. Do you like pokemon, too?”
N’s ears perked up and he sat up to attention, his gaze narrowing at hers, which didn’t falter in the slightest. “I’m sorry, do I know you?” “What? Oh, no, we’ve never met. I just wanted to know what you thought of that Team Plasma.” Salieri paused, darting her eyes away while rubbing the back of her head. “If you saw it, I mean.”
N didn’t answer right away. Instead, he looked past Salieri and out at the forest, his eyes becoming glassy as he became lost in thought. “Did you know the statistical highest average of trainers beginning their journey in Unova is today, the beginning of spring? They’ll all be given a Pokedex so they can collect pokemon and fill up the computer with information. Do you have a pokedex?”
Salieri grinned and took out her pokedex, which was the standard red. She flipped it open so N could see her Trainer ID as she grinned to match the small headshot on the screen. “The Pokedex, eh? So... You're going to confine many, many Pokémon in pokeballs for that, then. I'm a trainer, too, but I can't help wondering... Are Pokémon really happy that way?”
Salieri leaned back a little on the bench, raising her eyebrow at N. Now she could see why Eunmi gave him a 7. He was kind of weird. “What do you mean?” Chen Zhen scoffed, then jabbed his thumb into his chest. [I’m definitely happy with Salieri! She plays with me all the time, and we always go on adventures together! Of course I’m happy!]
N’s face froze as he looked down at Chen Zhen. He couldn’t help but think back to before, with Darumi. “Your pokemon…just now, it was saying…” “Whoa, hold the phone dude.” Sal stood up quickly in surprise. “You can understand what Chen Zhen was saying?”
N was also surprised, though not as much as Salieri was. “Of course, he was just talking-“ The surprise quickly transformed, and Salieri noted that he suddenly became far more confident, as if he knew something no one else did. “So you can’t hear it, then. How sad. So, Salieri, is it?” The green haired teen took a pokeball off of his belt and held it up for Salieri to see.
“My name is N. How about you let me hear the voice of your pokemon once more, in battle?” Salieri and Chen Zhen looked to each other, then back at N. “…what kind of name is N?” For the first time since they had started talking, a tiny smile creeped onto N's face. “What kind of name is Salieri?” Salieri nodded back, accepting the response. “Okay, fine. N, you’ve got yourself a match!” she yelled as she jumped back, throwing a pokeball up into the air. Liuye Dao came out, landing with a thud onto the side of the street.
N looked down at his pokeball and then held it up to his forehead, letting the top lightly touch his skin. My friend…I’m so sorry. It will only be this one time, I promise.
And then he tossed the pokeball into the air.

"Hi!" she waved happily. Two trainers, traveling together, more or less. It sounded like a good system.
"Sorry to randomly butt-in, but that's a... er," she paused and pointed to the shinai, "training sword, right?"
She gestured to her Oshawott.
"This is Dali. Oh, I forgot, sorry." She took a step back, stuck out her tongue and winked. "I'm Eunmi. Anyway, the Pokédex said that Oshawott use their shell like a sword. You have a sword. Any chance you have any beginner's tips I could solicit?"
She looked down at Dali.
"I know it's a bit intrusive to ask, but it seems he just learned to use something called 'Shell Blade', and I don't know what it does," she laughed.

Henrietta listened to Emi talk. She looked at the shinai at her side and took it from her belt. "A shinai," she said.
She then looked at Dali. It was, needless to say, adorable.
Henrietta shook her head. Emi had just started the conversation and went through three different things without Henrietta really able to get a word in. Perhaps it was a contrast between an outgoing person and a shy person? Was this pace normal?
"I'm Henrietta," she introduced herself as she looked down at the Dali.
"H-hum, sure," she said once she went over the conversation again in her head. "I'll try my best.." she said nervously.
And Darumi came running up to the group. He skidded to a halt at Dali.
[Ohmygoddoesyournosedetachtoo?] he said as he began to hop from one side to the other, inspecting Dali's face to detachable pieces.

[N-no,] Dali said, covering his nose behind his paw. He was a bit sensitive about his nose.
Eunmi tilted her head and smiled.
"Hey, if you don't have time or something, it's okay," she said. Eunmi noticed that the girl was a bit soft-spoken and her mannerisms immediately gave her the impression she was a shy girl.
"You don't have to say 'yes' just 'cause I asked," Eunmi said, lifting her hands in the air and placing them intertwined on the back of her neck. "Do you actually know how to use it? The shin...ey?"

[Awwwmanthat'sboring, we could have totally played ball.] Darumi said with a 'frown', which was just a grin but his lips weren't as turned up.
Henrietta shook her head. "No, it's just that I'm not used to being asked about it. Hum... I have plenty of time. I can show you the basics if you want. H-hum..."
She looked over to Robby. Was he waiting on them? He probably wouldn't, they weren't traveling together after all, she'd just started following him out of fear. Now that she wasn't as afraid of the wilds she didn't need to.
Was saying bye okay, then? What if he didn't want to leave? Should she say something in case he did?
"Thanks," she said and then she realized what she had said and looked back toward Emi.
Thanks? For letting me follow you, right?
Still sounds weird, dumby.

Robby blinked in confusion at the two. He'd zoned out for a moment, then realized that he didn't need to really need to stick around. And now? Now he'd just been thanked, for some reason or another that he didn't really get. Not that it really mattered. It was polite to reply, right?
"Er, no problem, I guess." The confusion was evident in the obese lad's voice. "Bye." He then began his amazing waddling journey of truth. Back home... Greeaaat.

"Yeah!" Eunmi cheered, and then bent down to look at Oshawott. "You're gonna be super cool!"
She looked up and watched Robby stagger off.
"Oh hey, you wanna watch? This is gonna be neat, don't you think?" she called out, though he hadn't gotten far enough for it to warrant her shouting.
"How often do you get to see an artist at work?" she said waiving a hand at Henrietta. "Sword fighting is an art, right?"

"H-hum, yeah. It's the way of the sword."
Henrietta, first and foremost, fixed her posture. Back straight, chin raised, heels together. Taking the Shinai in both hands she held it upward but outward.
"Always keep your sword up. It's not just something for attacking, you can parry with it, too," she explained.
But that's obvious, say something impressive.
"This is Sonkyo," she said and she'd demonstrate. Moving her left foot, it would point off sort of diagonally while her right foot faced forward. From this position her knees would bend and she'd look to be someplace between squatting and sitting.
"H-hum, I guess this part isn't too important to you, though, sorry." she lowered her head to Dali.
"Chudan," she said as she stood up, her feet parting from one another. Her right foot would end up slightly ahead of her left foot, the toes with her left lining up with the center of the arch of her right. Her sword still held calmly she said, "stance is important because it covers where you can initially defend from and how you can initially attack. The more versatile and the more cover, the more important."
And now she'd talked more than she usually did.
What if she was wrong? What if, somehow, everything she had learned was wrong and Emi knew what was right? Would she look stupid? Would she be corrected?
Be confident.
"Kote is a strike of the right wrist. Certain techniques allow for you to strike the left, but in most cases you hit the right, which is more likely the dominant hand," she said and she gave an example of the motion as if striking at an invisible opponent in the same stance.
"Men is a strike to the head. You can strike either side, too, Migi-Men for the right and Hidari-men for the left, hum, their right and left.
"Do is a strike to the right of the person's torso. It's generally the preferred area, a strike to the left side is only sometimes allowed.
"And finally, Tsuki. A strike to the throat. It's a higher level strike, so I'm no good for showing you."
"Hum, never lower your sword too much, not to strike the legs or anything, it opens you up too much. You want to be able to see your opponent at all times, too. And.."
She lifted her sword above her head, the blade tilted backward, basically she just raised her arms, "it's okay to bring your sword up. It's a different stance. It gives you a full view, h-hum, I think it leaves your sides a bit more open personally though.
"That's a lot already," she said and she looked over to Emi. "Do you want me to keep going? I don't want to overwhelm your Pokemon."

Bacon took the invitation for his trainer to stay as an invitation to get in on this pokemon talk that had been going on before. The Tepig got in close to Daruma to make sure it knew he was talking to it. [Yoooou taaalk waaaaay tooooo faaaast, yoooou knnnnoooow thhhhaaat?] His voice was slow in comparison, as though he was procrastinating pushing each word out fully and the result was that they elongated in sound where possible. It also sounded like he was chewing on each word before letting the sound out.
Robby blinked at the shouting and turned around slowly. Was she just sort of inviting a stranger to... whatever this was? Well, she seemed to be asking a stranger to teach her something, but he wasn't sure whether her including him was out of courtesy, because she wanted him there, or for some prank or another. You couldn't really tell how someone would treat you when it was easy to throw insults...
Still, the obese youth nodded with a sigh, accepting the invitation. "Alright. I'm not in a real big hurry or nothing."

"No no, that's good," Emi nodded, silent since the demonstration began. Her eyes narrowed as she analyzed the steps. They were precise - Henrietta was definitely trained well. It was out of her expertise to use weapons, but she understood certain mechanics of weaponry defense. But anymore information would be overwhelming for the Oshawott - someone without an eye for martial arts would have trouble with that. In fact...
"That was hard to follow," Emi laughed. "But that was impressive. What do you think, Dali? And... oh, sorry, what's your name?"
Eunmi looked to Robby.
"You have same type of fire Pokémon Professor Juniper had at her lab," Eunmi knelt down and extended her hand to pet it. "I was worried that I might have made the wrong choice when I couldn't do anything but run away from Pokémon on Route 1 - but then Dali learned Shell Blade, and I think we'll be okay. I bet this lil' guys fire attacks keep you pretty safe.
"Ah, I didn't mean to offend you, Dali," she said, glancing at Oshawott.
"Osha osha," the Oshawott rubbed the back of its head and waved. It was just as much at fault as she was for having to run away from the wild Pokémon. But it was glad she chose him over a Tepig.
"Would either of you let Dali practice some of that against one of your Pokémon?"

Jumping up and down from pure excitement Takamaru Took a couple jumps back to give there pokemon the much needed room to battle, "Awesome, this is going to be my first challenges since starting here in Unova, i hope you make it interesting" He all but yelled jubilantly readying his stance.
With out further ado Takamaru Lifted his pokeball to the sky and with a click of its button, enlarging it, he let it loose into the air. From the ball burst a pearly white light reforming into a Drilbur, His Drilbur, 'Spike'.
"Dril dril Buuur!" Spike exclaimed After being released from its ball, it immediately took its battle stance ready for Hitmonlee...

"Hah, guess we're making the first move," Wayne balled up his fists, grinning away, "fine by me! Hitmonlee, take it down!"
Hitmonlee pushed his weight forward, holding it on a single foot. A moment later, his leg extended from its coiled state, propelling him forward far faster than running would allow.
"Rolling Kick!"
He struck the ground sideways with his other foot, kicking up a flurry of dirt upon tearing through the grass battlefield. He twisted around, half on the ground, the rest of the way while he was in the air. Hitmonlee completed a full body rotation slightly above Spike's height and slightly out of its range as well. As soon as the attack window opened, Hitmonlee's leg shot out with the same power that propelled him forward in the first place.
The Fight type hoped to catch Ground type off guard and slam the base of his foot into its face, knocking it down.

Haveing little to no time to usher a command Spike Acted on impulse throwing its clawed Hands in front of its face to negate the majority of the damage. the the kicks damage was lessened, but Spike was still sent through the air some 8 Feet, though as he landed Takamaru yelled his first command, "Spike, catch your claws in the ground to lessen the slide," Spike Did So.
"Now Assault Hitmonlee with your rapid Spin!" Takamaru yelled. Spike Used his claws that where implanted into the ground to propel him self towards The spring legged pokemon, though not as fast as he would have liked, mid Rush Spikes body began to rotate 386 Degrees continuously, thus hoping to ram into the Fighting type with a force equal to that of his previously used attack.
