Leila blushed as well, realizing what James meant by "friendly". She nodded. "All right." To be perfectly honest, she really couldn't wait. As she'd said before, her past masters hadn't really cared what she wore, so buying clothes was something completely new to her.

James tried to finish his papers as quickly as he could, which seemed like it wasn't fast enough. In reality it took only five minutes, but it felt like forever. Doing paperwork always bored him. He was slightly enthusiastic about the trip out of his house when he finished and stood up. "Alright, we can go now." He began to walk towards Leila but then stopped, his eyes dropping to Luscious. They seemed to have been having a staring contest before James sighed and shook his head. "Fine, but don't you claw anything. Let's go."

For a moment, Leila didn't realize what James was actually staring at, and her ears flicked back an forth uncomfortably. Then he spoke and she realized he had been staring at the tiger cub in her arms. She couldn't help it as a tiny sigh of relief escaped her lips.

It was a good thing James didn't realize what his actions may have looked like to Leila. If he had then he would have been depressed and mopey again. He got his jacket and keys and waited for Leila to be out before locking the door. He went over to the car and opened the door for Leila, though he wasn't completely sure if she would dislike him for doing so. He couldn't really help it. Then he went to his side and got in. "When we get there you may get whatever you want."

Leila followed him out and got in on the passenger side of his car. "Thank you," she said softly. "But I don't really know what...erm...what I'll want..."
