Mating? That made it sound more carnal and... bestial. Ewwwww. Gene did not like that term. She squirmed when Frost said it, biting her lower lip. Awkward and gross. This whole thing was just awkward and gross. New topic, she needed a new topic.

The last time West had attended a class taught by their infamous nurse, Bul had been eaten, a pumpkin had exploded, and they had all learned about the joys of mold. As a result, he had also ended up in the pumpkin patch with Riley. None of these things were experiences he wanted to repeat. So, why was he here? To be honest, he didn't really know.

It didn't help that there were so many students here already. Was everyone a glutton for pain, suffering, and mind-numbing embarrassment? Probably. This was Amityville.

He slid into a seat that managed to be both near people he knew and really, really far away from them. It seemed everyone nearby was preoccupied as well. He hoped they stayed that way.

Reluctantly, Riyo peeked her head into the classroom with a loud gulp and fidgeting hands. Sex ed. The feline liked learning, but... This was a little over her head.

Surely they wouldn't talk about... THAT. Surely! Maybe just the subtle things around it, yeah? Yeah. Surely. That had to be it. Oh, thank Jack. Hel was here, and there wasn't a chance the feline was going to sit anywhere somewhere close to her.

The ghoul's head darted back and fourth before she practically ran towards the valkyrie, sliding into a sitting position in a rather fluid motion. Her cheeks... Her cheeks were stained with a subtle red. "Hey Hel." The ghoul mumbled, clearing her voice afterwards. They may not have been sitting at the same table, but it was close enough. She could do this. Heck, if she could stay in this class, she could do anything, right? All about overcoming fears, right?

... Time to put up her hood and hide her face.

"Yeeeah, it was disgusting," Roch said, looking around the room that was getting rapidly crowded. "JackDAMN this place is getting crowded," he said, only to look at TG who was sitting in front of them.

"If this calls for partners, you wanna be mine?" he asked Mitzi, not about to let the perverted little imp steal his desk partner.

Thanatos was, actually rather looking forward to the class - or rather, he was looking forward to seeing what the school had to teach about sex ed, and how some of the students might react to such a lesson. After all, he had been running into ghouls without much experience or knowledge in the area of relationships, and perhaps the boils were the same way?

He paused at the door, taking his time to looking at the students who were present before Biskoto basically decided to direct him to take a seat near two ghouls she was familiar with by leaning forward in a particular direction.

"Levi, Hel! Darlingssss!" The snake looked overjoyed at seeing old friends in class, leaning down from Thanatos' shoulder to give both ghouls an affectionate nuzzle on their cheeks; she also had the feeling that both ghouls would not fall for her reaper's silly boil ways, which was always a bonus, "Levi! You hadn't met my reaper, have you? Thissss is Thanatossss."

The boil took one look at the way Biskoto was behaving, and sort of read her mind about 'these two ghouls will not be fun to tease'. Which was why he poker faced and then grinned, before leaning down a bit to extend out a hand to the ghoul named Levi, "Pleasure to meet you."

Enzo glanced around the room. Look at him, actually attending a class. Again! There weren't many familiar faces, but that was alright... always good to meet new chumps friends, right? Heck yeah. Well, Short-Stack was there but the knee-high demon was really cramping his style lately. Let him tend to himself. He wasn't any good at boxing anyway, with those tiny little skinny arms of his. Let That Guy tend to his own problems today.

The Boss begrudgingly waited out in the hallway as he straightened his suspenders, humming casually under his breath as he made his way into the circle.

Right there, in that seat. She could've just stopped breathing and keeled over when Deacon walked into the room... But that wouldn't have helped. It was Cricket's class, after all.

The feline tried to push her bag into the chair before the boil sat next to her. She knew what he was doing. SHE KNEW. But it was too late. There he was, smirking at her like an idiot. Subconsciously her hands tried to adjust the hood so less and less of her face showed. "I don't want to be your partner." The demoness mumbled, trying to curl into herself as much as she could. What could she do to get out of this class? Absolutely nothing, that's what. Saying she was sick was a piss poor excuse for the school nurse's class. "All you're going to do is harass me." What was with his eyes, anyways? Trouble sleeping or something?

"Uh. Maybe." But why admit it? Yesss. On the fence answers worked. Good gravy not only did he look tired, but he sounded it too. "You should've skipped today, Deacon. You look like you're gonna fall asleep." She didn't sound so much concerned as she did persuasive. "What's wrong? Having nightmares? Guilty conscience? You should drink more." If he even drank at all. She assumed so. He looked like the drinking, screaming, angry drunk kinda guy. "Sooooo, break any good hearts recently? Stomp on any dreams? Destroy any souls?" Maybe she could guilt trip him out. Yeah, she was going there.

Circe gingerly turned her attention from Valentino enough so that she could openly talk to the two new students who had taken up a spot near them, but still allowing conversation between them to be open. A smile almost always written on her face was once more present. "Hello teacher West!" She said, waving her hand slightly. And then she turned her attention to the other student who she did not know, Enzo. "Hello, my name's Circe. Circe Livonia!" The Reaper ghoul said as she extended her hand out to him in greeting. Today was turning out to be quite the friend making day. Or so she hoped.

NIghtmares? That's all he had to say? After lamenting his love for her at Scarentines, she would've assumed he'd be a little more detailed about it. And moreover, it didn't appear he felt particularly guilty about anything she had said. Did that hurt? Oh yeah, but she wouldn't let it show.

Actually, his unresponsive behavior made the ghoul a little nervous... First crying and beating the s**t out of people, now... Nothing. Nothing at all. Except...

"D-dates?" For a moment, and only a moment, Riyo looked baffled that he would even ask such a question. That wasn't any of his business! Moreover... "I don't 'date.'" The ghoul scoffed and looked away from her fellow feline. "There's no reason for me to get close to someone else. I'd have nothing to gain but more baggage." Of course the real reason was different, and now more than ever she was scared. The idea of being that close to somebody was stomach churning... Especially after what Deacon had accomplished in a few weeks. "And I have nothing to offer anyone else."

A moment of silence passed before she added: "And don't you think I'm coming to this class because I'm interested! I'm here to learn, and that's it." Or to face her fears of learning about and hearing things involving intimacy. That could be a valid reason too.

"Yeah, I wasn't expecting nearly this many people." The other class hadn't been nearly as full, and she only knew a few of the people there. She scooted her chair over a bit closer to Roch, to make room in case someone wanted to sit between her and the next table over. Not that it was very effective, the tables were tiny. "Sure, we can be partners. With the two-person tables, it does sort of look like that's the plan."

Aymet picked his way less than carefully through the students, taking a seat next to a random student who had just enough room to drop a chair next to. And stopped. Wait... she seemed... cold...??
