From the Ashes

In which the floating island that the students, horsemen, and hunters had all been battling on falls to the water below, and all of the horsemen Isles become destroyed as they sink into the ocean. A large phoenix, made up of all of the dead, insanity ridden horsemen, rises from the destruction and attacks everyone on the island.

There and Back Again

In which the students all finally get to return to Halloween and Amityville, though when they make their way through the portal they are surrounded by boogeymen and put into quarantine. When they awoke, they found out that the horsemen would be setting up camp not far from the walls of Amityville. Alex found that he had been inflicted with insanity (temporary, four days), and when Yin did not sound happy to have Alex accompany him back to his room, felt like the weremantis no longer wanted him and went back to his own room, alone and upset.

I Became Insane, With Long Intervals of Horrible Sanity

In which Yin comes to see Alex in his dorm room the day after they get back from the horsemen Isles. Alex is still suffering from insanity and so asks Yin to leave, because he is afraid of hurting him, and tells him that he will seek him out when he is feeling better, if he ever feels better.

In which Alex, still holed away in his room, receives text messages from Mitzi to see how he is doing. She asks if he needs somebody to talk to, but he, not wishing to have any company, tells her no.
