Shiro of course yelped a bit when he was picked up, but seeing -who- picked him up immediately made him strangely quiet, but the literal 'Death Glare' like aura around his body would've been a dead giveaway he did -NOT- want to see Gold, much less be touched by him "who the hell do you think you are, touching me you jerk!" and in two deft moves, he quickly leaned forward enough to Bite Gold, right on the nose, quite hard... and then quickly and instinctively blasted him in the face with a Sand Attack as well, before squirming out of his grip and quickly moving to hide behind Crystal with his death-glare still on Gold while his stress was slowly being forgotten, so long as Gold was in the area said person would be in danger of being mauled the moment he tried anything with him.
Nightblade just sweat-dropped at Shiro's actions while shaking his head a bit ~well that's one way to distract Shiro, how long it'll last will depend on how long gold intends to harass Shiro.~

"Gah! It bit me!" Gold yelped audibly when Shiro bit him on the nose and then sputtered from the subsequent face-full of sand.
"It looks to me like you got what you had coming to you," noted Silver with a slight chuckle as Gold continued coughing up sand. For the moment, at least, Gold appeared to be unable to find his voice.
"So, how long you planning on using Crystal as a shield?" Taki asked from behind Shiro. "Because it looks to me like you ought to be able to handle yourself just fine if you would at least try."
"Taki, not right now. I know you mean well, but that's not helping," Crystal told off her Floatzel. "Shiro's got a lot of issues so words of encouragement aren't going to get through to him, not that he's any better at accepting them when he's not scared out of his mind, but still."
"I'm just saying there's a lot he could accomplish if he wasn't so lost inside his own head," Taki added hastily. "Thinking too hard about things doesn't accomplish anything. If it seems impossible, you should go out there and do it anyway. You might surprise yourself. And, who knows, you might be glad you did."
Crystal knew firsthand that it was also a great way to get into all kinds of unnecessary trouble. "I agree that we need to get Shiro's life back on track in some fashion, but the first thing we've got to do is let him figure out how to snap out of being an Eevee so he can at least control the transformation to some extent. Once he's back to normal, then we'll worry about what to do with him."
"Well, if it's all the same to you, I think I'd like to go investigate the Lugia and Rayquaza that escaped from the Ruins of Alph on my own," Silver suggested. "It might also put less pressure on Shiro not having so many people crowded around him right now." He looked to Gold. "You should probably head home and contact Professor Elm to let him know how things stand."
"But what about training here with these guys?" Gold immediately protested.
Silver sighed. "Look at Shiro," he gestured toward the agitated Eevee. "He isn't in any shape to help you with your training and you aren't helping him by being here."
"What about me?" asked Yellow.
"It seems like Shiro is alright having you here, but still, you might want to head back to Kanto to get in touch with Professor Oak to let him know we've gotten things under control," Silver suggested. It would also buy Shiro some time to avoid contacting the professor himself so in that sense it would really be doing him a favor.
"That's not a bad idea," Yellow nodded. "And I can see if Red has made it back home by now."

Shiro of course looked over to Taki, frowning a bit lightly "he can consider it part payback for the Hot-springs prank with his Ambipom and part the fact i heavily -DISLIKE- him that was why i reacted like i did." he said coldly, before listening to Silver, while sighing a bit as well "thanks Silver, i don't mind you guys, but that Jerk i bit seriously gets on my nerves, so it'd be best to get him away from me before i just let my body go wild on him." he said, clearly intoning he was going to Maul Gold if he wasn't out of sight shortly, as Nightblade walked over and paw-poked Shiro "Master, the poor kid doesn't need you to be a rabid Meowth on him." he said with a chuckle, while Shiro looked back to Nightblade, paling under the fur "wait... you're out.. oh no.. Raiden! what if he heard my ranting!?!?!" of course, this got a paw-poke to the head to push the panicking Shiro over with a 'yeep!' and a sigh of exasperation "calm yourself Master.. i put Raiden back in his pokeball when he knocked himself out in the confusion of hearing you become an eevee, and i don't plan on telling him that the Badges are gone. however, it might be best if you switch your active party around big time, so you don't get yourself killed the moment you release one of your strongest members." Shiro gulped, but ndoded, understanding that, and started closing his eyes and trying to take deep breaths, to calm down, before a flash of light occured, and Shiro turned into a Treecko, who was looking a lot calmer than Shiro's raging mind was, but it was being pushed down slowly as he tried to get a handle of his stressed out mind.

While Shiro, now as a Treecko, worked on trying to calm himself, Silver escorted Gold to the guest room so they could both gather up their belongings. Once that was done, Gold helped himself to some more breakfast as Silver shoved him out the door.
"I'll make sure he's back in New Bark Town before I carry out my investigation," Silver informed the others before taking his leave.
Yellow waited a little while longer before going to gather up her things so she could make the journey back to Kanto. She bid Crystal, Shiro, and the various pokemon that were still out around the cabin farewell, saying if they needed any help not to hesitate to call.
Pretty soon it was just Crystal and Shiro alone with their various pokemon. Of course, for the time being, Shiro was still a Treecko so he hadn't quite snapped back into being human yet. While Nightblade attended to Shiro, Crystal returned Ifrit to his Poké Ball, actually a Great Ball, having decided to swap him out of her team for a recently obtained shiny Zangoose that still needed some training. Crystal began to wonder how that egg she had given to Shiro was doing now that she thought about it. It would probably cheer Shiro up quite a bit once it hatched since even he would be hard pressed to stay depressed when faced with a brand new baby pokemon.

of course, now that the distractions and surplus of people were gone, Shiro was able to get calmer, and push things down, he let out an exasperated sigh before wandering to the nearest wall, and bashed his head against it a few times, to vent his frustration, not using Headbutt or anything like that, simply just the 'insert head slam' here mode that doesn't hurt things except ones' own head, before Shiro finally let his frustration go, and proceeded to close his eyes, letting his instincts guide him, at Night-Blade's request, and soon, after about 5 minutes of focusing, another flash occured, and Shiro was sprawled out on the floor, THANKFULLY still clothed, though he did sit up looking dazed "okay... that was a new experience." he grumbled a bit, while getting to his feet "thanks Nightblade." he got a rumble of a purr that meant nothing speak wise but SHiro did pet the absol also with a smile "sorry i freaked out on everyone... the stress kind-of piled on, with my Badges being gone, Team Rocket catching and experimenting on me.. the scare moment with your Haxorus..." he shook his head "anyway, i think being able to become pokemon will take a bit getting used to."

"Well, we can certainly hit the gyms so you can win new badges," Crystal volunteered. "Sure, your regular pokemon are going to be upset with you about it, but they'll forgive you once you've managed to prove your worth to them. As for Shinigami, well, I know she looks fierce, but she's really very gentle so long as nothing provokes her." She also thought to herself, And turning into a pokemon seems way more fun when you can do it voluntarily.
Now that the others were gone, Taki decided to occupy himself by washing the dishes from breakfast while Dash started napping on the arm of the couch in a narrow beam of sunlight filtering in through the cabin window. And, now that the commotion was over, Fluffy finally made his way through the kitchen to slip outside to bask in the sun on a large flat boulder. Shinigami, meanwhile, had finished chopping down the dead tree into neat, evenly sized logs to be used as future firewood and was now stacking them along the side of the cabin.

Shiro ndoded as he went back to his room to swipe his backpack and the Charmander egg, before quietly sitting down to pull out his laptop and such, proceeding to work on switching his team out, Raiden and Stratos especially, and pondered a bit "true, but as it is, Ra would simply refuse to fight, Redhawk (Blaziken) would probably be alright, but i'm not risking it, Raiden and Stratos BOTH are out because if i let them out and tell them... they'd kill me. plain and simple." he shuddered, sighing "so until i can hide the fact i lost the Badges by winning back what i lost in Johto league, maybe even get the other two i never got, i might appease those two enough to not get killed." he chuckled nervously, while looking through his various bozes on his storage account "though i don't know who i should use... i'm always with Stratos, and Raiden.. well.." he just shook his head and idly sighed, before looking to Night Blade, who nodded "well, Nightblade is one pokemon i can use and count on, this pokemon in the egg is a second.. hmm..." he mumbled a bit, before thinking, and proceeded to check his Unova batch, before selecting Axew from the list "Yomikaru would work too, due to having not been trained much and i can work him up slowly.. any ideas?" he asked, given he handed a printed copy of his pokemon list to Crystal, what their strengths were, so on, though they did have nicknames, Crystal didn't need to tell him, as he pondered "maybe i should keep Stratos with me, so i can take him to the daycare... i've been wanting to train a second Riolu... same with a Ditto."
Nightblade chuckled a bit lightly "why not catch some of the pokemon you've yet to catch, like getting an Eevee?" Shiro looked to the Absol as he hopped onto the couch to lounge next to Shiro as he thought quietly about it "hmmm.. not a bad idea, but i wouldn't know what pokemon to evolve it to, plus i'm more likely to breed it so i can have all the Eevee-lutions." he chuckled lightly "hmm... i think i should look into a Deino as well one day, well.. not just it, but Larvitar, Dratini, Bagon... all of the dragon Pseudo-legendaries."

Snowy climbed up the back of Shiro's shirt to perch up on his shoulder. "You know, if there's any kind of pokemon you've really wanted to meet, I know Crystal can take you to the right place to find them. She really knows a lot about where to find different kinds of pokemon in their native habitats."
"Well, you're definitely going to want a flying type with you down the line unless you're planning on keeping Ra with you," Crystal pointed out. "Otherwise, just stick with your more easy going or low leveled pokemon that are less likely to turn against you. Beyond that, I'd say to wait to see what we encounter along the way just in case we run into something that might make a good addition to your team." Then, without really acknowledging Snowy's comment, Crystal added, "And if you want to find a Larvitar for yourself, they live here on Mt. Silver so we could definitely go out and find you one before we leave for the first gym."
"See, what did I tell you? Is she good or what?" Snowy chimed in.
"They're kind of rare, but if we look around hard enough we'll be sure to find some," Crystal finished. She looked at Snowy. "Riolu, Gible, Bagon, Dratini, and Trapinch can all be found at the Cianwood City Safari Zone fairly easily."
"Now you're just showing off," Snowy snorted with a slight chuckle.

Shiro had pulled out his egg-servicing kit, lightly polishing the Pokemon egg while listening to the comments from Snowy as Crystal explained things "hmm.. in that case Cucco would be deadly, given Fearows..." he shuddered a bit, before calling out that Pokeball, while looking over his lists "low leveled, well, all of them i train pretty well, and pretty evenly... the only ones that aren't as well trained would be the Unova caught Pokemon, given while i did train them to be Gym Battle worthy, i never pushed them like i had Sinnoh on down." he then blushed, remembering something, another reason why he didn't exactly want to face the championships in Sinnoh... he had a bit of a fanboy Crush on the champion. either way, he shook his head "so far i have Nightblade here, Yomikaru the Axew, this little guy.." he said, shining the egg a bit and taking care of it, while typing with one hand "my flying type can be Kazekiri, my Pidgeot, so that's fine there.." he then paused a bit, looking between Snowy and Crystal ".... Crystal, before we continue planning... can you honestly understand pokemon like i can? and snowy, no need to be snarky to your trainer." he said in a light manner, getting a rumble of a chuckle from his Absol who was watching with mild amusement.

"I wasn't being snarky. I was being honest. There's a difference," Snowy hopped down from Shiro's shoulder and onto the back of the sofa.
"It's a little hard to explain, but there was an incident a little while back in the Sinnoh Region," Crystal answered slowly while scratching behind her ear. "A terrible storm was raging above Mt. Coronet while Arceus clashed with Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. No one knew the cause of the horrific storm so I decided to scale the mountain to investigate the cause and when I made it up to the Spear Pillar I was caught up in one of Arceus's Judgement attacks. I thought it would have killed me, but instead I woke up on a strange beach having been transformed into a Cyndaquil in the aftermath. I spent a lot of time in that other world searching for a way to return to this world and regain my human form, but first I had to prove my worth to Arceus so it wasn't easy. Anyway, by the time I did make it back it was as though no time had passed at all. No one else seemed to remember that dreadful storm as if none of it had ever happened. I guess after all that time I spent living as a pokemon myself the language must have stuck when I returned to being human because I've been able to understand them ever since. Of course, there was no proof that any of it had happened so I've kept it mainly to myself and my pokemon since then, although that's also where I met Taki. He decided to come with me when I came back since he thought that other world wouldn't be so interesting without me around."
"What she's saying is that she's actually been able to understand pokemon speech for quite awhile now," Taki finished for her. "But it didn't happen the same way that it happened to you."

Shiro nodded at the explanation as he typed on the laptop while going through his pokemon "i see... now i know to avoid asking if you want to go on a trip to Mt. Coronet." he said while smiling a bit as he got paw-whapped on his leg by nightblade "be nice, master! besides, you also have your own hesitation to Legendaries in general." Shiro winced, looking aside "well, true, but there are a few i wouldn't mind seeing, or seeing again, Latias and Latios being two of them." he said while the Absol just rolled it's eyes, before looking over to the laptop screen lightly "what do you plan on calling the little one you're carrying?" he asked, pointing out the egg on his lap while he was rubbing and shining it up and all "hmm? this one? well, it depends on the pokemon that comes out, but i have a good name in mind, but i'm not telling until the egg hatches."

Shiro of course gave off a snort while shrugging a bit lightly "i guess i've been lucky, the only times i had to deal with legendaries was that time with Latias and Latios, though i've had a few sightings of some of them, Reshiram, Zekrom, and i think Kyurem as well, flying overhead, but i didn't pay it much mind given they werent' stopping, or coming near me. that was in the Unova league... as for Sinnoh.." he looked to Nightblade, with the absol shrugging lightly "Master saw the spiritual outlines of the Emotion Trio, but that was about itit spooked him enough to stay away from the lakes in case he got dragged into something by the local team or by the legendaries themselves." he chuckled a bit while Shiro stroked his fur lightly "gee thanks Nightblade." he said sarcastically, while getting a cheeky smile from his absol, and sighed a bit, before tending to the egg "maybe i should get Yukihara for having an ice pokemon.." he pondered a bit while having that pokeball come from his storage, that left him with Pidgeot (Kazekiri), Nightblade (Absol), Yomi (Axew), the egg, and Yukihara (Cubchoo) as his team, sure he could use one more, but he could also catch something later if he wanted. of course, he closed his laptop at that point, and gently resumed workign on grooming the egg directly in various ways, as well as putting his ear to it out of curiosity.

"From what little I saw of those three, they seemed fairly harmless," Crystal said in response to Nightblade's mentioning of the Emotion Trio. Mesprit was a little bit mischievous, luring unsuspecting trainers into chasing it all across the Sinnoh Region, eventually retreating back to its cave on Lake Verity to start the whole thing over again. Azelf and Uxie were more reclusive, but aside from that they were friendly enough and didn't cause her any trouble when she saw them.
Glancing out the cabin window Crystal could see that Suicune seemed to have finished his morning run across the lake and had departed for parts unknown. It was reassuring to see Suicune again after that little skirmish with Rayquaza in Ecruteak City. It seemed like Suicune was always having to put himself out to defend the general populace, always moving on before anyone could get close enough to thank him. The same could be said about Raikou and Entei, but the two of them weren't sighted nearly so frequently.
"At least we won't have to worry about the real Rayquaza for awhile," she nodded to herself. The fact that Suicune could still roam freely meant that the ice was holding the legendary dragon for the time being. Of course, it would still pose a problem once it broke free since, by that point, it was just going to be all the more angry at having been imprisoned. Nevertheless, it was better not to let Rayquaza rampage in populated areas.
Since Shiro was busy tending to the egg she had given him and getting his team sorted out, Crystal decided they probably weren't in any hurry to leave and could allow her pokemon to remain out a little while longer. As such, she also let out her recently obtained shiny Zangoose, nicknamed Zelkova, to get some fresh air while they were still at the cabin. Zelkova flicked her ears and tail upon being sent out, peering around at her surroundings before gradually venturing over to the stove to pick at some of the leftover food from breakfast.
