West's eyes brightened as the trashbots burst into the room. Yes. This was why he had come to this school... well, no, it wasn't. Still, seemingly pointless violence was definitely a perk. He waited for one of the machines to approach, finally hopping forward and tossing a lemon at one of the robots' metal heads when none did. The fruit burst into flames, smacking into the trashbot's useless jaw and popping it back in West's face.

West grappled with the stupid machine, catching a claw to the stomach but dealing no damage at all. Why was he not winning? >:[

The wrath demon stayed close, smacking the machine every chance he got, even growling at it until one of its shoulders began to spark. That was more like it.

West bit the trashbot. Not only did it taste like an undead's armpit, it also barely dented the thing.

Without a word, West pulled the remaining fruit from his basket and tossed it at the bot's wheeled feet-substitutes. Nothing happened.

He stood back, trying to catch his breath without looking like he was doing so, both eyes trained on the robot. It rolled forward a bit, but couldn't get very far at all on account of the prickly pear caught in its gears. West kicked it, leaving a good sized dent in its base, but dislodging the pear in the process.

West punched. West didn't connect. After his short stretch of victory, he was back to square one.

The trashbot socked West in the jaw, forcing the demon back a couple of steps as the stars swimming through his vision faded. He tried to return the punch, but his fist missed completely.

"Jackin' piece a'—" West muttered, running forward and slamming his body into the trashbot, trying to knock it to the ground. It didn't budge, but at least the thing looked almost as bad as he felt.

It smacked him again, grazing his cheek, then with a whir and a couple of clanks, the trashbot ground to a halt.

West stared at it in disbelief, his frown growing more and more petulant the longer it was allowed to remain on his face. What happened?

Laying flat on the floor breathing deeply only barely clutching onto her head she lay clenching her fists feeling her head pound. Not surprising since one move she used her own head as an attack. Her body sat up a bit and she twisted her head around to view Mei, looking quite beat up as she was. "I faired better then expected but that altered fruit was no help to me at all." Looking down at her damaged basket and sighing.

Sitting up all the way now and sneaking a few booberries, since they were useless anyway, scooted over so Mei had more room. "That's good. A school Yearbook you say? Well if the opportunity should ever arrise I shall stop by indefinitely. Is there a good number of students in the committee?" Perking up slightly, oh how enthralling it would be to join a group. It might get her a chance to meet others who aren't too busy fighting bots.

Darcy's eye widened as Mei discussed about painting coming to life. Cupping her hand to Mei's ear and lifting her head in place she whispered. "If you don't mind me asking, what were you trying to paint?" Leaning back now as she heard cussing coming from one of her other classmates fighting a bot. They probably have been forgotten about by now since they lost.

"I wonder what we'll be doing now that our baskets are all empty...." It was a rhetorical question. Mei was sure they'd figure out soon enough what would be next in this class once everyone was done fighting their bots.

Her ears wiggled slightly to the soft sounds of a guitar, turning her head just slightly to catch a glance of the guitar wielding Reaper. A small smile came to her lips before her attention was back on Darcy.

Mei wrapped a piece of Darcy's hair around her finger idly, hopefully the other ghoul wouldn't mind too much. "Yea yea! You most certainly should stop by the booth. Its open right now if you wanna head over later. That's probably where I'll be. I'm not sure how many are on the committee at the moment, but those I've met so far are really nice. Amrita is the one who's running it mostly or at least the one in charge. She's another Undead and really really nice too."

She began to braid the strand of Darcy's hair now. "We were painting beasties. Though mine was more of a blob beastie." The ghoul laughed. "Then the next day we got sucked into the painting with our beastie and had to fight other ink beasties. It was certainly interesting to say the least."

Welp she'd known that a class of no actual fighting was to good to be true and lo and behold now she had to fight a trashbot - at least it was only a practice fight and while she might get banged up and bruised a bit she doubted that she was in danger of being you know..seriously..hurt. Hopefully.

Might as well start off with a bang though and snatching the pineapple out of her fruit basket she threw it at the trashbot before it could come close enough to do much. Pineapples however are kind of shark and she managed to cut her hand as she threw it. Figures.

When the pineapple bounced off the trashbot with a satisfying clang and made it list to the side a little bit Zurine rushed forward to try and take advantage of her momentary upper hand. Sadly her first strike did not do much since the bot managed to right itself with a whir just as her fist lashed out and she merely grazed it's side...while it whacked her pretty good with its scoop like arm causing her to stagger back with an omph sound.
