『XXXXXKansuke let a wide smile cross his lips, feeling his blade slice through Masaru's arm and stomach. It was more than enough to kill the boy over time, something that he was aiming for. Even if a medic was on hand the wound was far too deep to actually heal back up, considering a large part of his torso was sliced by the blade, though not so deep that it was pouring blood. His smile turned cold when Masaru dissapeared in a bolt of lightning through his body. He knew what was coming next; his thoughts were affirmed when he felt the lightning from the Chidori scalding his back before piercing through the side of his torso, ripping through flesh and bone with ease. With that done the life left seemed to leave his eyes, his body falling to it's knees before falling forward on his face with a dull thud, though if anyone looked they'd notice it was simply him passing out. Due to the thought of killing his only remaining family his eyes slowly morphed into the shape of the Mangekyō Sharingain before deactivating into his normal crimson eyes. "--"--

Satemy who had been evacuated with the rest of his graduating class to the Hokage's monument had watched the scene unfold right in front of his eyes. He couldnt comprehend what had happened right away. It was all to fast. Still his feet were moving before his mind had caught up. He ran to the hokage reaching the man and tearing his cloak at the bottom. He hadnt had any real medical supplies on hand but he could at the very least buy some time to help the man. Without really thinking about it Satemy pushed the cloth against the mans wound. Before paling quite a bit when he realized the sheer damage that had been done."Hokage-sama...." he stuttered Not knowing what to do exactly.
Ibara stood there, in complete shock. His sensory jutsu detected someone but he figured it was just a curious kid. The Uchiha had complete obliterated eachother in a matter of seconds Ibara didn't have a chance to even react, and what was this? Over the loud speaker he heard the clone the hokage made speaking, " It is my duty to appoint a new leader to carry the Will of Fire. An thus.. with much thought and consideration after some time of sitting here.. I appoint Ibara Yamamaka as the new Hokage." Was he hearing things? Hokage? Ibaras head was spinning. He hardly noticed the genin run past him to the downed hokage as he walked toward the rapidly cooling body for Kansuke. Ibara reeled his foot back and brought it forward kicking the body hard. "b*****d!" Ibara could feel the tears welling up in his eyes, it wasn't very Hokage but he couldn't help it. After a few moments Ibara would kneel down over the dead body and roll it over, not being very gentle about it. He would peel the mans eye-lids back before inserting his fingers into the mans eyesockets and ripping not one but both of his eyes out and placing them in a small vial Ibara kept on him at all times being a medical-nin.
Then he turned his attention to the former-hokage's body. There was a young genin standing over his body tearing at the former hokage's clothing trying to save him it appeared. Ibara knelt down knowing that this genin had probably saw mutiple Hokage changes just as Ibara had and probably didn't want yet another new Hokage but it was the nature of the job, it was dangerous and all shinobi knew this. Ibara would place his hand on the genin's shoulder. "Go inside please. Go to safety I will take care of him. Ibara reached down again lifting the eye lids. As he did so a single tear would roll down Ibara's cheek. He gently placed his fingers in and in a grotesque but he felt necessary for the village's safety task he removed both of the former hokage's eyes before closing the man's eye lids again. Ibara slowly stood with the Hokage's limp body in his arms. Turning with the body he'd go in a secret passage in the monument concealing the former-hokage's body, stripping him clean of all the items he may have had. He then turned out of the dimly lit room clinching his teeth in anger as he stared out over the village.
Satemy looked up to the the man who had touched him. It seemed that he was looking after the body. Satemy was about to nod and do just what the man said before he looked at his own shoulder. There was blood there now. But it couldnt be his blood.Could it? No he was sure he hadnt been injured at all. An as if to answer his questions the man removed the eyes of the Hokage. What in the world was the man thinking. Satemy was about to object before he realized who this man was. He was the new Hokage. So it wasnt Satemy's place to intervene but still. it was a terrible thing to do to a recently fallen man. Satemy watched the man leave and then come back. Satemy had been to struck by what he had seen to actully move.
Ibara walked to the edge of the cliff. Standing on the head of the hokage who had just passed and was now growing cold in a concealed room. He took his right hand and rubbed the bridge of his nose as he thought. Ibara beckoned Satemy over to him. "I'm sorry, I'm new to this, I don't know everyone's name yet, but I know most." Ibara stated as beckoning. "You must be one of the newer Genin." Ibara paused, "What you just saw, me removing the eyes of the two Uchiha here? That was to protect the village. Those eyes are a terrible thing, Uchiha kill each other attempting to make their own eyes even more powerful. Its a shame really." Ibara would sigh. The village was under attack he almost forgot in all the mess that was going on up here. "If you insist on staying outside, would you like to make yourself useful? I don't want you to get too close, I want you to stay a safe distance but I need you to go to the gate... when I touched your shoulder I extended my telepathy you to you'll be able to speak to me just as you think. I want you to tell me if you see a young girl with black hair there, then return immediately."

Satemy followed Ibara as beckoned. He listened to the new Hokage patiently as he explained his actions. This put Satemy at ease. Uchiha huh. seems they can not properly handle the gifts they were born with. He thought to himself. Making a mental note to approach them with caution in the future. Satemy need not worry about such things. There were few ninja with his type of eye prowess. Just thinking about it made his own eyes flare red and become active. He didnt seem to notice. As the hokage finished his instruction Satemy paled a little. He can hear me think? As he digested the thought he mentally slapped himself. I need to do this for the Hokage. My first mission and i just graduated. Your gonna get us killed Spoke a sinister voice dripping with anger. Satemy paused as if confused in his thoughts before shrugging off the thought. " Yes Hokage- sama. I am Satemy, Kurama and i accept this task. No need to worry for my safety to much. I may not look it but i have some sensory gifts. I will be as careful as any shinobi can be." Girl with black hair huh? I need more information than that i think. "Hokage-sama could you tell me what she looks like? I dont want to report the wrong person."

Ibara chuckled. He forgot this genin didn't know what the girl had looked like. "I know you're a sakkugan user, I can tell by your eyes, do not let them possess you the way the Sharingan does the Uchiha." He turned looking down at the smaller boy. "She has black hair and blue eyes, she also is an ice user, she'll most likely be using ice." Ibara paused for a moment, "Actually I will come with you, just give me a moment." After finishing his explaination his attention returned to the jar sitting on the bust of Masaru-sama's head. This took he would lift and take into the concealed room. Returning outside once more he turned his face up toward the sun allowing his hood to fall back off his head. "What a day..." Ibara mumbled under his breath. He turned to a cluster of ANBU that had arrived and told them to guard the room with their lives before vanishing in a cloud of leaves.

『XXXXXArriving at the Hokage Monument, Rinnosuke let his strange orange eyes glance around slightly, looking for any movement that might be an enemy. It seemed like the most logical thing to do considering they were currently at war with an unknown enemy, at least they were unknown to him. He didn't really know who they were, or if the Hokage knew who they were...he only hoped he'd have something to do now that he was at the Hokage's monument where he'd seen others going. He only hoped he'd find someone of importance here he could speak with about retrieving a mission or two while the war was going on. "--"-- 』™
The Empress of the Senju Clan made her grand appearance as she approached the Hokage Monument. It wasn't much of a flashy entrance for someone who claimed to be of such a title, but the loud clicking of her boots against the earthen ground beneath them would be enough to attract attention of those nearby. She's not arrogant, no, but she has already set high expectations for herself, even if she's just a Genin in rank. Her ruby eyes were covered with a set of crimson shades, preventing anyone from witnessing her intimidating gaze. With a confident, yet graceful stride, she followed a few other Shinobi from behind, until finding her own private space within the area. She sat on a lonely stump, crossing one leg over the other, while her slender arms crossed, resting upon her bosom. The area was crowded with Shinobi of different ranks, but primarily filled with young, and inexperienced Genin. Citizens of the village were also mixed into the group. For now, she would wait here until further instruction, gently tapping the tip of her boot against the ground, as she gazed upon the faces of past Hokage on the mountain ahead.

She had always loved this sight. It was where she first met her friend, it was where she rallied the genin against the UHV during the kyuubi's attack on the village. Yet again she stood upon its cliffs staring out at the village in flames. While this battle was nowhere near as bad as what had happened during the Kyuubi's attack and granted it was almost over she had a duty to do, not only as a sage but as a Jounin. The tails of her crimson kimono fluttered in the wind restrained a bit by the large purple scroll she bore. She needed to join the fray but knew she needed intel on enemy positions and the best way for her to do that would be to go into sage mode. However she had not gathered sage chakra since she left the snakes domain. Turning quickly she saw two genin waiting for orders," You two, gennin yes. I need you two to cover me for a few minutes after that we will be joining the battle." Without waiting she closed her eyes and formed what to be them would be a seal they had never seen before as she began gathering sage chakra.
A cool breeze rushed by, one that was cooler than Terumi would have liked, making her a bit uncomfortable. Quickly, she surrounded her upper body with the fur coat that hung across her shoulders before returning her arms to their previous position. Her eyes were still locked onto the mountain structure ahead, each familiar face upon it bringing back many memories. Even faces who she had only heard about from her grandmother's stories, though she had not physically seen them, still gave her the urge to form a smile upon her face. Yet she refused, her facial expression remaining neutral while she was deep in thought. You two Genin, yes. I need you two to cover me for a few minutes, and after that we will be joining the battle. The feminine voice distracted her form her thoughts, as she rose her face to meet with whoever was addressing her.
A female dressed in a red Kimono stood with her eyes closed; her hands placed together in some foreign hand seal. Terumi did not move, but further examined the female, before glancing around the area. Clearly, they were in a relatively safe place, and so Terumi found no real reason to "cover" her, but would remain on watch just in case. Apparently, she and some other Genin would be taking orders from her, as she has also requested that they join her in battle. "Joining the battle? From what I've heard, Genin are supposed to remain here. A direct order from the Hokage." She spoke in a velvety tone, raising a hand to lower her shades and get a better view of the female before her and the surrounding area. Konoha was in far too much danger to allow Genin to assist in any way, unless there was an exception for a select few, which she has heard nothing about. Since it was quite likely she'd end up joining the female, she began making a mental lists of Eiseijutsu that she could learn quickly before assisting.

She had to concentrate on monitoring how much sage chakra she was pulling in. As she continued her gathering she spoke softly," Genin, what is your specialty?" She allowed her breathing to steady a bit more as she cast her senses out. As she did so the faintest amount of red appeared around her eyes.
