Carly looked down at her feet as they walked, telling herself she was simply trying to watch her step. She found herself blushing, though, when he complimented her. Even despite how dirty and utterly unattractive she felt right now, he thought she was pretty. That definitely lifted her spirits a little and enabled her to trust him a little bit more. Then he picked her up, and she was surprised at first but then wrapped her arms around him to balance herself. "Um, thank you," she said to him as he carried her. It did feel better not having to walk, and she was grateful.

It took a little time to get there, but soon enough they reached their destination. While most of the assassins stayed on their targets, Darius liked walking around and exploring whenever he was too lazy to kill. He just so happened to find this hidden spring and thought it be a nice place to just take a little break hear and there. "Well, hear we are. It's a little dark, but the warm water is worth it." He told her, leading her inside the spring.

Because she wasn't the one walking it, Carly didn't mind the distance to the spring. She acted surprised when she saw it, because she either hadn't expected that there would actually be a spring here in this forest or she had thought Darius was lying to her. Either way, it was certainly nice to see it. She held onto her companion until he led her into the water, then eased out of his arms to test it for herself. It was too warm to drink, but she could probably bathe here. "It feels good," she said to Darius as she waded around, looking for a suitably private place to wash herself and her clothes. When she found it a short while later, she took off her clothes and submerged into the water. It felt good to get all of the dirt off, both from herself and from her nightgown. It was even beginning to turn pink again, rather than the ugly shade of brown it had been a little earlier. Unfortunately, she couldn't do much about the tears, unless Darius also knew how to sew.

Adrian picked up his military cap and dusted it off, before putting it back on his head. A moment later he saw Stella return with a damp shirt to press against Diana's forehead. "What did you just say to me? Are you showing compassion and mercy to our prey? That is an action worthy of execution and don't think I'll forget it. I've had others put to death for doing the things you are, and I will do the same with you." The assassin leader was quite enraged at this point.

Diana was silent, cringing slightly when she felt the cool dampness of Stella's shirt. After a moment, she seemed to relax as she halfway opened up her eyes when she heard Adrian. She said nothing, looking up between Adrian and Stella while trying to bury her own desire to cough. She looked at Adrian's angry expression as she stayed under his jacket. "You're cute when you're angry..." She muttered, though it was partially obvious she wasn't quite thinking straight due to the fever.

Stella felt Diana cringe next to her and fought the urge to do the same. She might have said something snarky to Adrian, but decided it was probably wiser to stay quiet for now. If she had spoken, she would have given away the fact that she was a hunter too. Actually, what Adrian had just said already had. Maybe she could pretend she was rebelling against the Assassins if anyone asked. Diana, however, didn't seem preoccupied with such matters. Oh great, Stella thought, Now she's delirious. She didn't take the shirt away yet though, because it was obvious the girl still had a very high fever.

Darius, being the sneaky guy he is, thought it'd be a good idea to try and have a little fun. Stripped out of his clothes as well, he went into the water, it feeling amazing going through his scars. He of course made sure to hide his knives though, just in case. Silently he inched towards Carly, trying his best not to laugh. Before she realized what happen, Darius wrapped his arms around her quickly copping a feel. "Hello!" He explained with a grin, laughing as he let go.

Carly put her nightgown on the ground so that it would be dry when she got out and began to wash herself. The warm water felt really good, and she found herself relaxing. That is, until Darius came up behind her and touched her. "Excuse me," she said indignantly, "Do you mind?!" Picking her up when it hurt too much to walk was fine. Taking her to this spring was wonderful. But touching her this way was just too much. She tried to swat him away, extremely unhappy that he didn't seem to be letting go. "Let go of me," she said, her voice clipped. "I'm taking a bath."

Darius grinned, expecting her to act like this. "Just relax. You'll enjoy it and then be happy that it happened." He said to her, continuing to grope her. He could feel that she was enjoying it, even if she tried not to show it. All he had to do was make her drop that wall keeping her away from feeling full pleasure, then she was his.

Diana let out a few huffs as she slightly tilted her head to Stella. "Might... want to... answer question." She coughed. "Otherwise... bluffing or not... he'll kill you too." She huffed. "He's... that no-nonsense... type..." She coughed. "Feel... free... to step out... a minute... I'm... I'm not going... anywhere... Not in... this state..."

Relax? Enjoy it? Yeah, right. Carly continued to swat, then tried to push him away. It didn't work. He seemed to have no intention of letting go, and he was stronger than her. She pouted. This was not what she had envisioned when Darius had mentioned going to a warm spring. He seemed to have planned it all out, though. Use a gimmick about washing her nightgown, then seduce her. What a creep, she thought. Still, she couldn't ignore the fact that she had come here with him all the same. There had to be some kind of reason for that.

Finally she sighed in a resigned manner. She didn't seem to have much say in this matter, but no way was she going to let him have the last word. "We'll see about that," she said, then elbowed him.

Stella furrowed her brows as though confused at what Diana had said. To answer Adrian's questions, she had said she wanted Diana to live, and it was true for the time being. That meant that yes, she was showing compassion and mercy to the prey. There wasn't much to talk about there. She might have made some sort of protest, but only bit her lip and remained quiet. Adrian was still technically her leader, the one she was supposed to obey no matter what. Even if she was masquerading, the rules were still the same. Her only mistake was in being caught.

Slowly, she stood up, leaving Diana with the damp shirt. She was willing to step out for a minute if he was. He might not be getting an apology, though. Not unless he choked it out of her, which Stella knew he probably would.

Adrian eyed Stella with narrowed eyes. "I'd like you hear your explanation" he said to Stella as he went over to Diana. He began loosening her fingers around his military jacket. Not only was it part of his uniform, but it was where he kept all his weapons. He certainly didn't want his prey to have it.

Diana's eyes narrowed, slipping her arm backwards into the arm of his jacket. It was her only source of heat, and there was no way she was going to hand it back over. She jumped up, staggering about with no balance whatsoever and feeling her own things stuck against her skin on the inside of his jacket. She let out a few huffs as she tried to back away from him towards the water fall. Suddenly, her foot slipped as she let out a small scream and flailed her arms, trying to stop her fall as she fell into the raging river, jacket and all. A moment later, her head surfaced as she gasped for breath, still holding onto his jacket as she was quickly taken by the river.

Stella sighed and finally spoke, offering an explanation. "I do want her to live," she started reluctantly, "And... yes... that counts as mercy." Then she stopped, unwilling to incriminate herself further, and turned to look at Diana. Adrian was trying to get his jacket back, but it wasn't working. The girl had a death grip on it and seemed to have no intention of giving it back. Stella simply watched until suddenly Diana jumped up. She raised a brow. What was this girl doing? Maybe she was still delirious from the fever. When she fell into the river, Stella murmured a curse under her breath. Yes, definitely delirious. If Adrian didn't kill her, she was just going to kill herself with the way things were going. Deciding she ought to play rescuer, Stella jumped into the water after the silver-haired girl and the jacket. It was probably just instinct as she swam towards the girl, or some odd desire to bring Adrian's jacket to him. She wasn't worried about getting lost herself in the river, because she had been in it many times. It had been part of her training when she became an assassin.
