My bf and I wanna move out of his mom's house already but we can't afford it either
And we both don't know how to cook D:

It is tough out there. It's fine if you don't know how to cook, that's why cook books exist right? lol That's what I usually tell my parents when they ask me how I'm going to prepare food for myself in the future, but I do know how to cook certain meals.

What do you cook? o:

I can cook anything that comes with instructions and I know how to cook several different items. my favorite are white rice with chicken or pork chops with orange lime glaze.I also like to make cheesecake, chicken tacos and chicken salad or macaroni salad. I think my parents are used to it, usually when I say that they just kinda sigh. When I cook for myself I also like to experiment with my food, sometimes I add random ingredients to see how it will taste, usually they taste pretty good.

I can cook anything that comes with instructions and I know how to cook several different items. my favorite are white rice with chicken or pork chops with orange lime glaze.I also like to make cheesecake, chicken tacos and chicken salad or macaroni salad. I think my parents are used to it, usually when I say that they just kinda sigh. When I cook for myself I also like to experiment with my food, sometimes I add random ingredients to see how it will taste, usually they taste pretty good.

I pretty much know how to make eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, and breakfast burritos/tacos c:
And pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches!
For dessert, I think I make the best chocolate chip cookies from scratch!
And I do small cakes and brownies and cupcakes and muffins c:
I really should be fat from all the junk food I eat ;w;

lol No one has ever asked me to teach them to cook before. White rice is pretty simple, there's usually instructions on the bag of rice too. I don't really do anything special with it, and I usually make it in the rice cooker. I don't really know many recipes for yummy goodies like you do. The reason I know how to make some meals is because usually I'm the chef of the family if my mother can't do it so i cook usually three or four nights a week.

yup you don't want it to burn, if it burns the rest of the rice absorbs the smell and it wont taste good at all. I like any cooking device that prevents your food from burning lol.

Yeah I hate cooking things that will take a long time, so I listen to music or watch youtube videos on my phone. I entertain myself near the food to keep an eye on it.
