Finally her arrow flew true through the air and the walrus was slain but not without some collateral damage too. Determined to not return completely empty handed, Niylah dragged the thing back to the portal and tried again.There must have been a human out there she could bring back...

Trudging back out into the snow didn't seem like the best idea and she toyed with the idea of exiting and choosing a new location but the words of that horseman had her skin prickling. She had something to prove now and she continued on this smooth path that she had found until she came across what appeared to be a gaggle of humans.

It didn't take the mare long to determine exactly what she needed to do to best capture a human companion. Quickly she fired an array of blunt arrows while simultaneously trying not to gag from the smell.

Deciding that more arrows would likely be useless in such close quarters, she came up behind a female human and knocked them in the back of their head before dragging them off with her back to the portal. She felt weary, but she accomplished and any previous irritation had smoothed over.
Once again, she was a picture of poise as she left the arctic behind.

So things hadn't gone according to plan.
Not that he'd actually had a plan, but that was irrelevant. Plans were irrelevant. The arctic was irrelevant. The random walrus he saw being shoved into the portal was also irrelevant.
He had half a mind to toss the dead cellphone he'd found into the portal, simply in hopes of dinging someone on the head with the useless piece of plastic, but it was better than nothing, as far as trophies went. Slightly better. Hardly better. But better. He'd hold on to it for now - or at least until he found something worthwhile to hurl it at.
Grouchily, he hunkered down and took a seat in the snow, not giving two flips of a dragon's tail whether or not his robes got soaked from the impromptu sitting.
Hmph.

Oracle giggled, each sound shaking her pile of clothes. If and when the disgruntled War horseman happened to look her way, she gave a small wave and quickly disappeared into the elevator to try and avoid being caught. Well, assuming they figured out she had been the guilty party.
Not being particularly picky about where she ended up, the small pile of priestess clothes shadowed a pair of older horsemen into the ice and snow. she had never been allowed to go on her own before--both of her mothers and father had been so very protective. She felt a bittersweet freedom in being there that she didn't want to focus on, so she listened in on the small bickering between the two she followed until something caught her eye.
Two legs, some hair and clothes, vacant expression...That's what humans basically were, right?

Borr came upon another of the strange smelly houses. This time he decided to go into the door with the triangle skirt on it. Perhaps it wouldn't smell so bad?

It turned out the triangle leg room was just as smelly as the other. And none of them had skirts on or triangles for legs. What was the big idea?
Borr lashed out at the first unsuspecting woman who shrieked as she was attacked and began to wail back on him with her purse.
It was a super heavy purse.

While his speaking companion and the others had seemed to disappear, Mengyao himself headed elsewhere, lost in a jungle of thick vines, even thicker trees, and a canopy of vibrant green leaves and colorful flowers that surrounded him on all sides.
Or he would have been, if he'd actually been in the jungle. Instead, Mengyao found himself standing somewhere between it and elsewhere, in a muddy and extremely displeasing expanse of land that made him wrinkle his nose in distaste.
This was not where he would have chosen to go if he'd had the decision to go anywhere.
Which he hadn't.
The building was unfamiliar, as was the rest of the terrain. Mengyao gave it a scrutinizing look from his dual colored eyes, frowning, and then gave a shout of irritation, leaping back as something pinged in the ground beside him. Something projectile, intent on warning him, or maybe just hitting him and getting rid of him.
Either way - he was not about to stay and find out.
