And beech for cups also Positive Traits: Negative Traits: Likes: Dislikes: Secrets: Fears: Backstory: Foss Pinesedge grew up in a now-gone herd called the Skysong herd, a mixture of mostly unicorns and wind soquili. Their home was a valley ringed by maples, oaks, and pines on the edge of a forbidding forest called the Gloomwood. The Skysong kept a good relationship with the Gloomwood herd that lived there, a herd that had originally contained only Cerynei. As inevitable when two herds live near each other and regularly contact each other, the Skysong and the Gloomwood interbred. Foss's mother was born in the Gloomwood herd, hence his Cerynei traits; meanwhile, Foss's friend, Long Jon Dark, was also his cousin, as Jon's mother was the daughter of a Skysinger! Members of Skysong would join the Gloomwooders for their rituals, and vice versa for Skysong celebrations.
When the Gloomwood herd collapsed, the Skysong were heartbroken at the deaths of their friends and allies, but believed that they would be able to survive. Sadly, this was not the case, though while the collapse of the Gloomwood herd was sudden and violent, the collapse of Skysong was slow and gradual. Over time, more and more children of Skysong were leaving their meadows to see new places. Soon whole families were leaving, and in the end, all that was left of Skysong was a few individuals. Foss's family were one of the families that left, unable to stay behind where the grim specter of the Gloomwood and the events there cast a dark pall on their family.
Foss has wandered the world ever since, occasionally returning the Skysong, but not yet brave enough to enter the darkness of the Gloomwood and find out of his best friend survived.Personality: But when you have killed and your bowl it is filled
