"Hera, come back!" Keiko shouted, giving S-22 a wide berth. Hera disengaged and stood at Keiko's side, but she wasn't exactly happy about retreating. "Sorry, but he's to strong for you at close range. Fire a volley of Pin Missles at him instead. Audrey, don't worry about Hera. Focus on healing however gets close to the enemy instead,"

Keiko sighed, happy that Hera was safe. "Somebody's gonna hafta get close to him to keep him from attacking those of us fighting him at a distance," she added to herself. Darts certainly seemed capable, and she knew he wasn't the only one that had significant strength. Despite what I said, she knew she didn't stand a chance against S-22, so she could only offer support however she could.

Having heard Ein's whole spiel during the elevator ride, Cera was doing everything she could not to say something back. Where this said even a scant couple of years ago, she might've agreed with him. But things were different now. She knew he was wrong, and whatever semblance of "heroics" he claimed to be doing were little more than a farce, a delusional set of beliefs that he was somehow better, and she already saw what that "better" was.

Last she checked, it was still very much non-existent. She only needed to take one look at the Z-Crystal on her to remember that.

When they reached the top, her heart didn't sink as much as she thought it would. She heard more of Ein's tripe. Saw more of the monstrosity that was S-22. Saw the captive audience in more ways than one, pitying them immediately because she knew the place they were in all too well. With a deep sigh, she glared at S-22. She'd glare at Ein too were she able to.

"...so what if they're dead?" She asked, shaking a little as anger built up and reached a boiling point. It was hard to sense the others below now; too many presences to isolate them from the rest if they were there, and the lack of anything from S-22 did little to help. "We came here knowing some of us, maybe a lot of us, won't make it through this. But I've seen your 'new world order' and it sucks. You fancy yourself the hero and crush everyone with fear, say this is for the better when you're busy slamming the iron fist down and experimenting because what already exists isn't good enough because you don't want to give it the time to see if it's fine as is. Ask yourself right now what the difference is between me and that Mewtwo of yours. Oh, right, it lost. And you."

Quickly, she'd conjure a flurry of Aura Spheres to try and buy Sub a shade more time by pelting S-22, hoping to aid in keeping Darts from having his head caved in from something even Blusix's Metagross would've struggled with. "I'm done running away from you too. We're all done running. If that makes us the villains, then so be it!"

Turning towards Ein, Aria would simply snap her fingers and glare towards one of the cameras as she extended a middle finger to point directly towards the recording device. "Showtime's over. Unfortunately, we aren't going to simply stand by and let some delusional authoritarian with a penchant for horrific mutation run anything besides laps in a padded cell. So, time to show what the patron saints of none of the above can do to help out the world." Aria snarled out, her Pangoro and Noivern standing strong behind her. With her little shout over with, Aria turned to her Pokemon before snarling out, "Round! Lets do this!"

Suigetsu and Vibrato would both react immediately, unleashing a sonic assault that was aimed towards S-22 and kept interacting with itself to push its own sonic power beyond anything that the two Pokemon might otherwise be able to generate. And even if the field-wide blast of noise and distortion that was aimed at the giant shark proved less than effective, something that seemed unlikely given the the amount of Sharpedo he seemed to possess in his biology, then she could at least be certain that this would be cutting off one of the abomination's senses for a moment to allow the others to do something. Anything.

His words were able to snap her out of her fear as she looked at everyone else's determination. All of the Snagems then ran at S-22 ready to beat him down. A Sharpedo cyborg hybrid that the child has never seen before, but the team has crossed paths with him several times already. She watched as the monster was standing still until it lashed out with no remorse what so ever. Both of them were stunned. "Master what do we do? That thing didn't even flinch with all of them there." "Play support. We got to beat that thing with smarts not just brute force. But first.." She started looking around the crowd. Blusix said that his brothers were captured. And she made a promise that she would get them back. "Let's cut the live feed, we are not going to let Ein have his ways. And I'm not sure if any of these people can even walk, but lets try to break them out that way we won't have to worry about any of them getting hit by any of us. If we can't do that, I have another idea."

Lucario nodded as both of them went a separate direction from the fight as they were going for the cameras. "Lucario Bone Rush let's go!" Lucario summoned a long bone staff as he swung it at a few cameras to break them. Meanwhile close by, Ulla went down into the crowd to investigate more what exactly she was dealing with. She looked back at the battle as things were getting worse. "If I could make a Healing Circle for all of these people, we wouldn't have a problem...we would have our on army. But that would be risky on my part, plus I'm only able to use it on people that I am familiar with." She said to herself as she thought to disrupt S-22 to give her team time to breathe for a second.

She held out her hands as a pink swirl started to surround her as another much larger pink swirl started to form around the monster Hybrid. It started to give off a sweet scent as the Fairy Channeler was using Sparkly Swirl.
Espeon_Commander
Aile took a deep breath as the elevator opened, slowly following the rest of the group. She flinched and shut one of her eyes when the bright lights came on, blinking rapidly as her eyes adjusted. “Of course,” she muttered, once S-22 rose up into the arena in his glass holding cell. Ein was really getting on her last nerve, as she was ready to be done with him once the cameras came online and the spectators came out. “Talk about a damned captive audience. a*****e.” The woman’s eyes scanned the bleachers, praying to see no one she recognized, as hard as it probably was to tell, before turning her attention to the attacking cyborg hybrid. “Tatooine, Sarlaac, you two are up!” With her good arm, she grabbed the two Pokémon’s orbs and threw them out bringing forth her own Flygon and her Palossand. “Everyone, shield your eyes. Sarlaac, Sandstorm! Tati, Earth Power!”

Tatooine would act, first, zipping over to get a better view of S-22 and Darts, trying to make sure that their ally wasn’t too horribly affected by the attack, as a blast of ground energy would come up out from underneath the cyborg shark man. A Sandstorm would brew soon after that, sand whipping through the arena and allowing the Palossand to blend into the storm a bit. Hopefully, it could be useful in more ways it would be detrimental.

A massive Sandstorm has risen up, whipping around the battling Sharpedo's form, concealing the sonic boom Aria had summoned forth with her Round - the sand was going to dampen the sound but only slightly. S-22's body vibrates with the impact of the attack and he slides backwards ever so slightly with the impact, the first sign that anything had had any sort of an effect on the monster. Pink Sparkly Swirl surrounds him, lashing itself against the monsters skin again and again, causing no visible pain but clearly agitating the shark who had once again paused as he decides how to act, his visor giving him a clear line of vision with everyone's heat signatures through the sand. Well at least until..

Requiem of Whyspers
Kaya was knocked aside with incredible ease, alongside Darien. In the flurry of attacks and the blow to the head that sent him flailing across the arena floor, the Klefki hybrid couldn’t tell exactly what had happened until his world stopped spinning. The next thing he saw clearly was a second wave of attacks as S-22 tried to rip Darts’ skull apart. “No!” He screamed as he shot bolt upright, throwing his right hand into the air, he quickly switched his sword hand and focused Fairy energy into his now-open palm. By the time the others attacks had taken their toll, he sent a singular spark of light flying straight toward S-22’s face from the center of his palm. It would arrive just as Sub attempted to pull Darts to freedom and erupt into a violent, dazzling light show overflowing with the Fairy Energy charged into that singularity. The cyborg’s robotic eyes should still be capable of being temporarily overloaded, shouldn’t they? Even the most advanced modern, digital cameras took a few seconds to bring focus back when their white balance was thrown off. Even a moment of blindness might give them the chance to really hit S-22 hard before it could fight back.

Dropping his last unused Moon Ball, Kaya recalled Darien a moment later, the Dunsparce rattled too hard by that defense from S-22 to try and keep fighting for the moment. As Jupiter popped out of his ball, Kaya looked over to him. “Use Pin Missile.” He told the Chespin. “Aim for the big brute!” Jupiter nodded and his head spikes began to glow brightly with Bug energy before explosive missile-like needles fired off from them in erratic trajectories, all aiming to strike at S-22 from different angles.

“Makoto, use Energy Ball!” He directed his Leavanny to fire off a bullet of Grass energy. She nodded and , crossing her scythe-like arms, she formed a condensed sphere of solar energy in the notches in them, firing the dense orb at the shark cyborg in an effort to whittle it’s energy down.

“Tomoe, Use Mirror Move on Audino and help out with those Heal Pulses!” He called up to his Togekiss flying overhead. Tomoe nodded and her wings flashed with a silvery, mirror-like sheen that reflected the Heal Pulse Audrey was using. She aimed to use it on anything she could to double up on the restoration.

Veronica instinctively put up a Detect wall, though it had only been enough to stop Cosmo from pushing RC and her against the wall it meant he would be the one getting crushed. She didn't have time to attend to the fainted Zoroark and instead focused on the Sharpedo that had suddenly appeared before them. She jumped back, letting the Sharpedo make his move on Ryan in order to successfully send out her Jellicent. "Take that crystal inside you!" She ordered, knowing full well of what it meant after what happened with Cosmo. The Jellicent Spirit floated into the Sharpedo and made a fight for the z-crystal, clinging in any way he could. The movement of the Sharpedo's actions helped the Jelicent to swallow the z-crystal with its ghost-water body. Though looking at the scene itself, the Jellicent stopped looking like a Jellicent and seemed more like a deformed ditto as it seeped parts of its body into S-22's fist. As Spirit started to lose some of his solid properties to reach the crystal better with each second that passed, the Jellicent pulsated the extra water into a wave of Surf to midly annoy the Sharpedo's sight. Both Spirit and Veronica shared a glance for a moment, knowing what was about to happen but accepting that it had to be done - it was the only way to prevent the worst outcome or, at least, Veronica wasn't about to let the enemy have it easy.

As she took a moment to think, she recalled Cosmo. At least the Healing Pulse kept him from death. As the others began to react, she knew more attacks might start coming in so she decided to restrain from entering the battle herself. "Chi," her Infernape had almost caught up to her position in desperation to protect her. "Mach Punch, I want that crystal back." Veronica said.

Once she confirmed that Chi heard her, she started to fall back and looked up to find her Flygon. Once their eyes met, she pointed at Ryan.

Having been observing for a long while, the Flygon instantly understood what she wanted. BlackCrystal sharply changed directions midair and flew to Ryan, catching him in a manner that made them swirl down for several seconds before the Flygon managed to stabilized his flight again. The Flygon started to bring Ryan back and focused on his own path back to the fight. He would simply drop Ryan down as soon as they were close enough to the ground, hopefully Ryan could catch his footing or he would be rolling. In the minutes to follow, BlackCrystal would continue in a low flight, straight for the Sharpedo. He would aimed a Dragon Pulse as soon as he found a clear shot and take an exit route back to the sky afterwards.

Meanwhile, the Infernape had taken a priority shot at both S-22 and Spirit, though it wasn't a move that would affect Spirit, it provided him with the speed to get as close as anyone could in that time frame. It wasn't a smart idea after what happened to Cosmo but it wasn't like Veronica had a choice. Still, Veronica had carefully thought through all of her decisions and her pokemon trusted her. Once Chi arrived at Spirit's side, he would try to open the S-22's fists with his fighting power, at least enough to help the Jellicent get inside and push out.

Kaya flew into the fray, momentarily attempting to overload S-22's visor with a hyper singularity of white light at the same exact moment that the Jellicent attempted to rip the crystal free of S-22's hand. Normally, the hybrid's assertions about cameras would be correct, but that's why the thing that happened next should be so worrying. As Kaya's orb flies in, analyzing the situation and determining the best course of action, S-22 simply reroutes his own internal programming and turns the visor off, effectively blinding himself. With the assault from earlier and the sandstorm whipping around him, this should have made him incredibly vulnerable. However, as Kaya was going to find out, S-22 had quite an innate sense of trajectory prediction. The Jellicent was going to get inside his fist and take the crystal, that much was impossible to stop, however, again, rather than just taking the attacks from the Infernape and Flygon, he uses the Jellicent again as a shield, blocking the Dragon Pulse, the Aura Spheres, (both of which had been fired before his visor had switched off) and swatting the Infernape away blind before sending the ghost (and crystal) back to the exact spot Kaya had been standing at high speed, the impact speed the Z-Crystal was at quickly approaching a bullet, though there was a Jellicent wrapped around it.

His visor clicks back to life, the time for a high quality camera to come back to life from shutdown versus being overloaded much much smaller. The sonic boom was still rattling his Sharpedo fleshy parts, and his annoyance quickly made itself known as he raises both arms out, and claps his palms together at an enormous velocity. A sonic boom rings out from between his fingers, counterbalancing the Round and cutting through the harsh wind of the sandstorm - the wind-missile quickly approaching Aria and Aile as he quells both the sonic attack and the desert hurricane with sheer strength.

The Absol flashed away in the darkness, in a similar fashion to how the Zoroark had gone away. Only Cherry wasn't such a dumb brute like the Zoroark, she never intended to get so close to an enemy like the Sharpedo to feel threatened. Instead, she followed orders to the bare minimum. In time, she would find the perfect spot from behind the Sharpedo - which alone took far too long in Veronica's opinion. If Veronica wanted an attack, then Cherry would make an attack. As the Absol would end up moving last, at least it was before the Sharpedo's next big attack: Shadow Rave. The darkness travelled through the ground and random, sharp spikes started to emerge one by one, caring less if it hit an ally or two as Cherry only aimed for the Sharpedo's general location. (4/10) All things considered, it would probably work best on the Sharpedo to do such random attacks though Veronica would not be happy with the lack of control.

Ryan had not expected S-22 to be able to focus in on hin and Veronica through the onslaught of attacks that had been thrown at him. He didn't even see the punch that stunned him and sent him airborne. It wasn't until the Flygon had caught him, that he would snap back to his senses.

It would be then that he would realize he had lost the Primarinium-Z. As he combat rolls to the ground he looks back over to Veronica, even for the smallest glimmer of hope. 'No. Not like this. Not after everything Undine and his pokemon had gone through to earn that!' Ryan thinks in a dead panic.

"Undine! Moonblast! Come on out Rin Jin!" Ryan says in a fury as he produces a Medusa Whip from his gourd as his Jellicent comes out. "Rin Jin. Focus with me to inflict as nasty of a curse as possible!" Ryan says as he latches the Whip around S-22's throat. " Ryan you can't-" Rin Jin starts. "I don't care! Do it, Rin Jin!" Ryan roars. Rin Jin nods then channeling through his trainer, sends a powerful rush of cursed energy through his trainer and the whip to inflict great harm upon the Sharpedo Hybrid.

Speaking of Aile, she had been looking for bartenders earlier. There were a lot of people in this arena besides the Snagems. Just saying, if she manages to avoid all this. The Earth Power finally springs up around S-22 just as the whip curls around his neck, and the Sharpedo hybrid heaves back, fighting through the cursed energy to drag Ryan and his gourd into the teeth of the Ground-type attack, simultaneously dodging it while also attempting to entomb the channeler in a substance not conducive for water. Pin Missiles hit the Sharpedo hybrid head on with squishy sounding thuds as they stick into his skin in batches, but compared to everything else going on it looked like their foe was taking some time to enjoy some acupuncture, barely acknowledging their impact. The Shadow Rave begins slicing through the floor, and S-22 is forced to move again - the attack was strong but not very fast, and he nimbly spins past Ryan mid Earth Power, his Rough Skin thankfully leaving no lasting marks on the Snagem as he goes. He's mid movement and about to turn back to finishing off Darts when...

Blizzard120
I managed, albeit barely, to keep up with S-22's moves. The sheer speed and fluidity of every action, all unwasted, all accomplishing an objective. I couldn't even really tell much of anything the last encounter with him; just the fact that I could actually see his actions was an improvement in and of itself. I want to chalk it up to the experiences and prowess I gained over these past years, but then, it could be merely S-22 not getting even remotely warmed up yet. The fight only just started, after all. Either way, it was only a cold comfort, however. That only just meant I could see how he could beat me into submission, if not outright kill me, if I wasn't careful. Worse still, I was left almost at a loss as to how in the hell any one or combination of us could take him out. However it was to be done, I knew it had to be done with maximum damage in mind. Attack to kill, nothing less. Otherwise, he wouldn't budge from the likes of any other attack.

I watched as Darts jumped into the fray with such a thing in mind. His Outrage. But I instantly went wide-eyed and started to rush for the monster as soon as his Outrage was reduced to a mere dragon whelp's tantrum. I dashed full speed with Agility to the two of them. I had to get S-22 off of Darts. With him hunched over to pin Darts, and to subsequently crush the Giratina hybrid's skull, I re-appeared beside S-22 and drove a knee right for the cyborg's head in an attempt to get his attention off of the Giratina hybrid.
Blizz's knee impacts the side of his head with a jarring blow. It was a solid hit, the Articuno hybrid could feel that much in his knee however it put him in a dangerous predicament as he was now closest to the one weapon everyone should be surprised the living weapon hadn't unsheathed yet. His jaw elongates, dislocating slightly as he reveals his row after row of deadly looking razor-sharp teeth, the maw going from average human to monstrous abomination quicker than most people could blink. Quick as a flash both sides of his mouth clamp down onto Blizz's wing, right where the joint met near his shoulder, teeth shredding flesh and only stopping when it met bone. Blizz's blood, hot and red despite his name, splashes in all directions as S-22 hoists him off the ground and shakes him like a glorified chew toy with a vicious snap of his neck, looking to separate the wing from the bird as it were.

SubonicXP
Sub continued to run towards S-22 until the monster began to act, swinging one of Veronica's Pokemon around like a club to soak up the attacks they launched at it, the poor creature just barely staying conscious thanks to a well time Heal Pulse. Before he could do anything else himself Darts came charging past them all to meet S-22 with his most powerful move; Outrage. Despite good and well the monstrous strength the cyborg possessed he was still taken back how easily he put an end to Darts' Outrage, making him look like anything but a legendary hybrid in the process. Now with Darts in his grip Sub knew he had to do something and fast before they lost one of their own just in the first few minutes of engagement.

"Nevermore, take flight and give me a better view. Tamerlane, you go low, use Dig. Griswold, let's go." He ordered his Pokemon in mid-run. With a squawked his Murkrow would flap her wings hard and rocket up into the air above the arena, finding a good vantage point to hover at, her eyes giving off a faint glow as began to share her sight with the Dark One via his Dark Channeling. Next came Tamerlane, the Pangoro stopping his run ahead of Sub and with a roar before to rapidly dig into the arena floor, disappearing into a hole in the ground. After seeing two of his Pokemon head off in different directions his Spiritomb would cackle before stretching its mouth open wide and arch over from behind Sub, 'swallowing' him whole before disappearing into a shadow on the ground taking the Snagem leader with him.

As Blizzard delivered a knee to its head, Aria's Pokemon attempted to rattle its eardrums, Ulla attempted to attack its Dark nature with Fairy energy, Veronica's Pokemon delivered a multi-pronge assault, and just before Tatooine erupted a surge of Earth Power against the cyborg, the familiar face of a certain Spiritomb would take form on the ground beneath Darts having arrived via Shadow Sneak. Rising up on either side of Darts, from the mouth of the ghoulish face, were two arms. Sub would attempt to pull Darts into Griswold's maul the moment S-22 was distracted by the barrage of attacks. If successful he and Darts would slip away into Griswold's ghostly form who would whisk them away into the shadows, slip across the ground back further away from where S-22 was conducting battle.

The trip would probably be far lesser disorienting for someone like Darts who was already accustomed to similar travel, the Spiritomb rising up out of the ground on the other side of the arena before spitting out his occupants safely away from the hellish cyborg and where the Sandstorm now raged. "Aren't there better ways to commit suicide!?" Sub scolded Darts once, and if, they made it away safely.

S-22 was distracted with just a few other things at the moment, so Sub's rescue attempt would go off without a hitch. Darts wearily shakes his head as soon as the portal vomits him out onto the floor, shakily making his way to his feet. "With this body... you would be surprised." His eyes narrow behind his crest, trying to get his head together after the Outrage. "Man, he's gotten even stronger since the last time we ran into him. What do we got in the big boy playbook?" He asks, looking towards their leader for direction. For once the Giratina hybrid was at a loss, he had barely been able to stop the shark from taking his head off. "Blizz!" The gambler shouts, more Outrage pouring back into his body as he sees the Articuno hybrid lifted by those massive bladed teeth. Crushed head be damned, he thinks, as he takes off at a full sprint towards the battle again, blue fire beginning to drip from his jacket and more of his body as he pushes more and more energy into himself.

Rin Jin was not about to let harm come to his master, no matter the differences they may have. As such, the Jellicent would use Wring Out to not only snatch up and pull his trainer to safety but force him to break the Medusa Whip as well.

"Rin Jin...Thanks." Ryan says meekly, his anger finally ebbing away.

"No Problem, Master. Now, get after that Crystal!" he orders to his trainer and returns to his pokeball.

Ryan and Undine make their way over towards where Kaya is, most likely only going to be able to help him in the aftermath of S-22's attack and secure his Primarinium-Z again.

But to deter any further intrusion by the Hybrid, Ryan had an idea.

Ryan uses his skills to send out a Monstrous Mist to obscure that battlefield between him and where S-22 was. He then turns to Undine. "Melodic Bubble time!" Ryan orders and the pair combines to create two dozen softball-sized bubbles that Undine pushes carefully into the Monstrous Mist, water-based land mines for their adversary.

Ryan was now starting to feel the full extent of all his channeling starting to catch up to him. But this was it. If he didn't leave it all on this battlefield to ensure victory, what point was there?

Once I landed on two feet, I went to drive yet another crushing blow on him, making sure that I give him no time to even so much as breathe, but as soon as I came down, I realized...I swung at air. "The hell!?" I lost him. Just like that. It had to be pure speed. He...gotten faster!? I couldn't keep up with him. And with no read as to where he was, I almost was in a dead panic. Losing track of this thing was the last thing anyone needed, let alone me. I then suddenly had a realization and out the corner of my eye, it finally registered. He was right behind me.

No time to dodge, no time to guard, he grabs on and bites down with every bit of force his jaws could seemingly muster and from me, probably the most bloodcurdling yell that I probably ever made. I got swung about, every whip and flick of his head cut that bit deeper, stressed an gruesome injury all the bit more. I was practically a chew toy in the jaws of a ravenous hound. I managed to catch on, Darts was now on the rescue for me, but I was left to wonder just what kind of damage he could possibly do or for that matter, would we only merely essentially just trade places again and have a brush with death? I refused to let that happen.

It took some focus between getting thrashed and tossed that couple of seconds, but I managed to give a wave of the arm. An icy spike shot from the floor, courtesy of my Ancientpower attack, aiming to impale him anywhere from behind. I needed him to hold still for just a second. Granted, this possibly meant that I was going to get caught up in Darts's attack, let alone anyone else's, but at this point, we're running on full desperation.

Aria would barely have a chance to react to the sudden stop to her Round that was caused by the massive Sharpedo hybrid before the pressure bomb that its clap induced sent her and her Pokemon scattering from the impact. While it was undeniably much easier on them than an actual punch from the monstrosity, the fact it disrupted the nearby sandstorm gave credence to the fact it sent Aria and Vibrato flying 20 feet backwards from where it impacted and shot Suigetsu a similar distance in the opposite direction due to their different positions. Slowly coming back to her senses as she watched S-22 begin ripping its way through the rest of the Snagems before eventually landing on Blizzard and biting into the hybrid's wing, the performer felt like she had seen something that might give them something to work with and at least offer them an opportunity to survive this monstrosity. But making any assumption on that level was utterly suicidal, so she needed to try for something potentially suicidal to confirm what she thought.

Looking to where her Pangoro had landed, Aria could see that Suigetsu had actually been propelled in the general direction of Blizzard. Which was just perfect for what she needed in this case. "Suigetsu! Get that thing off of Blizz with a flurry of Arm Thrusts!!" Aria called out, watching the Dark type acknowledge the command with a bit of apprehension, but still eventually charging towards S-22, aiming to unleash a flurry of Arm Thrusts towards the hybrid's head and neck in an effort to force it to release Blizzard from its jaw.

Snapping her eyes between S-22 and the minefield of mist and strange bubbles Ryan seemed to be setting up, Aria already knew what else she could do to add to this attempted assault on S-22 that would do more than simply leave a random stretch of wet ground after the giant hybrid dashed around the mist cloud to beat them to death. Mounting her Noivern and taking off in a quick dash across the field, Aria and Vibrato would be beside Ryan with little fanfare. "Vibrato! Tailwind! Lets get these little suckers moving!" Aria commanded, feeling a low vibration in her Noivern's body building up as she finished her command, watching as a strong wind kicked up and began to blow towards S-22 from their location. And just so conveniently carry along Ryan's minefield to instead make it into a flurry of bombs that were flying along towards the giant Sharpedo hybrid.

Aile had barely an issue seeing through the sandstorm herself, which only allowed her to see what was going on during it better. And it honestly scared her. Watching him brush off attacks and counter others. At least until the sonic clap was aimed towards her and Aria. “Hell. Sarlaac, Shore Up!” Aile would dive behind her large sandcastle now, with the Pokémon drawing in the surrounding sand to bolster her and make her even more dense, using her force of will to keep her body from scattering as much as possible when the blast hit. Considering the at least half of the Palossand’s sand body still scattered on impact was saying something, but thankfully, said body was just sand. And a child’s shovel, but grand scheme of things and what not. Either way, getting behind the Palossand probably saved Aile some having at least some ruptured organs.

While Sarlaac started to reform her body, Aile opened her eyes to see something that made any color in her face drain out. Or someone in this case. Any of the people from Pyrite she would have hated to see here, but one man in particular she did not want to see here. Unfortunately, Ein had to have known his connection to her. Robert, the old barkeep that took her in and was pretty much vital to her survival in Orre, was now standing out obviously to her in the captive audience. Whether or not he had caught sight of the woman was unclear, but she knew she had to get him out, or at least try to protect him in some way. “I should not have been surprised. I really shouldn’t have,” she finally muttered, peering over Sarlaac’s reforming body to look at the battle before turning back to the crowd. “... Try to hang on, guys.” One sharp whistle from the trainer later, and Tatooine would be by her trainer’s side. “And mother said that it would be useless teaching a sand dragonfly bird commands. Tati, I need you to get me into the crowd up there. Sarlaac, keep being a shield for people down here. Iron Defense and Shore Up if need be. If that thing gets close, Giga Drain. Get the hell out of dodge, though, if things get too tough, okay? You’ve become a hell of an ally as well, Sarlaac.” She patted the sandcastle on her side before gingerly getting on Tatooine’s back. “Let’s go, Tati.” The dragon took off after that, flying above the crowd and allowing Aile to slip off of her to try and land somewhere relatively close to Robert.

The sandstorm brewed up and it was an extreme annoyance to feel the grazing sand and rock on her skin. Unprepared, her vision suffered at first. She adjusted with goggles and tried to focus once again. Thankfully, nothing awful had gone down.

Spirit would collide with Kaya but at least he had retrieved the z-crystal. The Jellicent nodded at Kaya to apologize before taking off. Spirit, Chi, BlackCrystal and Cherry returned back to Veronica.

"Okay." She inhaled a deep breath. "Spread out, find your place to help along with the ongoing attacks, let's give an offensive support this turn." Veronica gave them the go-ahead and they dashed off in different directions. She still had her Lucario resting, and as a back up, but she hoped they would soon see to the beast's demise.

Ryan would soon find himself looking at two Jellicents. Spirit offered the z-crystal back before setting up a large wave of Surf. It was something the Jellicent didn't do often in team missions but he figured Ryan and his pokemon would get use out of the quantity of water around them.

The Flygon flew straight to Blizz's aid, grabbing at his back with his claws. Granted, it would probably hurt, but unlikely that it would hurt more than the Sharpedo and it provided cover him from any potential incoming attacks. Even if the Sharpedo was to swing him around, it would be BlackCrystal whom would take the hits. Along with Blizz's Ancient Power attack, the Flygon would use the rocks to bring up an Earth Power from under S-22.

As Aria's Pangoro attacked, Chi the Infernape followed along in order to use Giga Impact on the opposite side of the Sharpedo's jaw. As Veronica acknowledged his actions and saw that the bubble bombs were being hurried along. She carefully made her way to Chi. She would use her Detect in the following move to protect the Infernape while the Giga Impact's aftermath forced Chi to remain still.

Cherry was rather aggravated but at least this time she didn't want to feel like her attacks didn't matter so she looked around to see what she could do...

"Thank you, you two. I know your attacks don't look like they're doing much, but keep at it, okay?" Keiko asked, Cutie and Hera continuing to shoot DazzlingGleam and Pin Missile at S-22 while Audrey Heal Pulse's anybody struck by the monstruous Sharpedo hybrid.

"Darn it, Terashi," Keiko huffs under her breath. "I could have fought the Shadow Pokemon with Frustration, but there's hardly anything I can do here. Why'd you have to insist on this?"

Cherry the Absol shook its fur from top to bottom, finally deciding who to side with. She took great hops to reach Cutie and Hera. She felt as though if she had to choose one of these humans to aid, it might as well be the enchanting and decent smelling Keiko. Granted, even Keiko might be taken aback by the shadow pokemon's presence. If she wasn't careful, the Absol could easily turn on her or her pokemon. Cherry threw out a Razor Wind on S-22 to join in the others' attacks.

"Not just stronger..." Sub started as he knelt besides Darts and watched his companions feebly clash with the cybernetic monster. "...but better all together. It, or rather Ein, has learned a lot from our previous encounters it appears." Before the Snagem leader could even consider Darts' question the Giratina hybrid rushed off once again head first into battle, albeit for good reason but it still took Sub by surprise and filled him with worry.

"Darkrai damn it, we're getting nowhere fast." The man growled as he stood up, pulled his Go-Goggles up over his eyes and fell backwards into Griswold's open mouth, disappearing into the ghostly maul. That was when Nevermore swooped down into the sandstorm and flew over Griswold, the Forbidden Pokemon disappearing into the shadow the bird was casting on the ground from the stadium lights. Little Nevermore would fly like a dart through the sandstorm, braving the damage, and headed straight for S-22 who was currently treating Blizzard like a freshly shot down duck.

As Nevermore neared S-22 she would suddenly pull up at the last minute and unleash a surge of oppressive Dark energy against the cyborg as she executed a Quash as she shot up into the air. It wasn't expect to completely stop or immobilize the monster but perhaps it would be enough to inconvenience it for the others to do more. The real purpose of her rush was the shadow on the ground.

Traveling through Nevermore's shadow and slipping into S-22's Griswold's face would appear from the shadow and from his mouth was once again a pair of arms belonging to Sub, though this time not to save anyone, instead the Dark Channeler grabbed onto one of S-22's legs and while being carried inside the Spiritomb he would pull with all his might hoping the momentum and force would be enough to knock the shark off balance. Successful or otherwise Griswold continued to zip across the ground with Shadow Sneak, his trainer lingering inside its incorporeal form.

"Blizz!" Seeing the attack that S-22 landed and hearing the scream that followed was enough to send her blood boiling all over again, a reminder to maybe not skimp on the big guns. A pair of screams would come from her next as her mouth and mind made part of her thoughts known when it came to what just happened. One of the colosseum's spires would budge slightly, then wriggle back and forth a little as the Mew kept willing it apart, not turning her gaze from the goings on and especially not from S-22. Eventually, it'd be wrenched free and float in the air, before shooting down at S-22 like a missile."Hey, giant walking garbage disposal! Chew on this!"

Kaya watched as his and the others attacks continued to bounce almost uselessly off of S-22. When the Sandstorm took effect, he was thankful for the combination of his visor and his Steel-typing. He was able to see well enough through the sand just long enough to see Ryan come flying through it straight at him. He was hit by the combination of flying human and amorphous Pokemon only just in time for his brain to click that the only way that S-22 could have done that so easily was if his brain had calculated exactly how to defend himself while blinded before he ever moved or his other senses were also boosted. That gave him an idea. “Everyone! Overloaded as many of it’s senses at once as possible!” He called out as he managed to get himself and Ryan back to their feet, though the Channeler was swifter than he was. “It can’t turn off all of it’s senses at once and still fight!” He assumed, irritated that the cyborg was making them look like chumps as usual.

Looking over to Makoto, he nodded to her, “Do the usual. Hone Claws, then use Razor Wind!” He told the Leavanny. She nodded and began to sharpen her blades before whipping up a whirlwind with a few wild, swift dance moves. She paused, however, alongside Kaya and Tomoe as they all witnessed what happened to Blizzard. The hybrid was grabbed in those horrible, awful teeth and thrown around like he was little more than a rope toy in the jaws of some hyperactive Granbull.

Kaya balked, freezing in his tracks and blood and feathers flew from the hybrid in S-22’s grasp. Blizzard wouldn’t want them to stop fighting, though, if he died in the crossfire here, would he? Wasn’t Blizzard the one who understood the whole “necessary sacrifices” thing close to the best out of all of them? Mismatched eyes slammed shut for a moment as the Articuno hybrid’s scream cut through him like a knife to the heart. As more attacks flew in, the Klefki knight felt something inside him click. There was something in his arsenal that might work but he’d needed the crystal last time he used it to tap that deep into his energy. Magic Room just might work to shut down S-22 if it worked on his inorganic parts the way it did on other items. But could he manage it again?

He’d learned a bit from Succelus before leaving the Fairy Realm what felt like ages ago now. Beginning an ancient chant in the language of the Fairies, he watched as pink lines raced across the battlefield, making their way toward S-22. As the chant ended, he poured Fairy energy into the space surrounding the cyborg and in the span of a second, the lines snapped into the form of a perfect cube just large enough to entrap the creature within.

“Do it!” He called to Makoto, the Leavanny nodding and firing sharp blades of wind toward the beast. She was careful to aim so as to not hit Blizzard, though. At the same time, Tomoe went back into action and fired a Heal Pulse straight at Blizzard, aiming it far enough away from S-22 that the half-mechanical monster shouldn’t see it coming before it reached it’s target. Plus, with all those other attacks coming at it, it should be distracted enough to hit and heal Blizzard somewhat. Maybe he’d even get dropped before that so he could actually recover?

Blizzard's Ancientpower spike blunts itself against S-22's back, breaking off ineffectively but that combined with the impact of multiple Arm Thrusts, the shake of an Earth Power, and a Giga Impact, there's no way S-22 can keep ahold of the Articuno hybrid. His jaw gives way and he releases Blizz with a snap of his teeth, blood splattering away from the open wounds - Heal Pulses would soon knit those as fast as they could. S-22 moves to take on the Pokemon confronting him face to face and sees the projectiles approaching him.

Pin-missiles and Razor Winds heading for him, the shark moves again and he breezes past the projectiles - attacks that had been striking him consistently now missing him completely as he nimbly moves past them, his speed startling. Anyone that had been watching S-22 throughout this fight closely, Blizz had already caught onto it, would begin to notice something odd about the hybrid's movements now as he puts feet to turf - in the beginning he had already been generating afterimages with his speed, but now everything around him seemed to slow by simple comparison. Even the aqua mines, a devastating combination of water energy and sonics pushed by a Tailwind were easily breezed by. Another thing that seemed slow, for instance...

Before the trap could actually shut, S-22 whizzes forward like a subsonic bullet - one with a trajectory aiming straight for Kaya. Seizing the Klefki hybrid by his neck, the enormous shark attempts to twist the knight's head the wrong way around with a vicious snap - an attack intended to end a threat's life as efficiently as possible - luckily for the life of one Snagem....

SubonicXP

Traveling through Nevermore's shadow and slipping into S-22's Griswold's face would appear from the shadow and from his mouth was once again a pair of arms belonging to Sub, though this time not to save anyone, instead the Dark Channeler grabbed onto one of S-22's legs and while being carried inside the Spiritomb he would pull with all his might hoping the momentum and force would be enough to knock the shark off balance. Sub has ahold of the Sharpedo hybrid's leg at a particularly opportune time, throwing the balance needed to put those massive muscles to use off. Kaya's neck would probably be stressed, but probably not broken. In addition, Sub's direct contact with S-22's skin also revealed another key factor. Despite holding on with all his might, none of Sub's skin sloughed off up against the Rough Skin of the hybrid's exterior. Which, if he didn't have the Rough Skin ability as a Sharpedo, that meant... Speed Boost. And he was only going to get faster.

However, he was still only so fast at the moment and the massive spire combined with Sub tripping the beast up causes a shadow to fall across both S-22 and Kaya, still held in his grip for the moment as the enormous entire top of a building comes crashing down on both of them. Now there was someone who was missing from this equation, having seemingly vanished at the time Blizz had been pseudo-impaled by several inches of razor sharp teeth. He returns now, just as Sub slithers away back into the shadows. An enraged Darts, blue Outrage mixing with the deep purple Ghost energy of a Shadow Force, he emerges from the Distortion Realm, throwing a full on haymaker into the chest of their adversary.

WHOOOOM! There's a massive flare of two kinds of energy in a burst of aggression as fist meets hybrid and the spire slams down on top of both of them, the massive maelstrom that had been summoned by Darts extinguished by ten tons of rubble. Smoke wafts up from underneath the spire, and an eerie hush falls over the platform.

He shouts to her, eyes wild.
