Avari turns on to his stomach, looking around him and noticing that Marcus also stayed down in that moment. He put his forehead to the mat, taking a moment before readying himself to get back up.

Four....
Marcus has to get up again and somehow regain control of the match. He rolls to his side and manages to push himself up on one knee, bracing himself to try to regain a vertical base.

Avari watches Marcus slowly get back towards his feet and crawls to the ropes by the announcers, using them to slowly hoist himself up.

eight...
Marcus finally forces himself up to a full vertical base. He advances forward, an evident limp in his step but determined to push forward. As Avari reaches his feet, he would look to meet him with a stiff kick to the gut, followed by a clubbing shot to the back

Avari gets himself to his feet around the same time as Marcus and steps forward, a little fatigued now but trying not to show it.
But his reactions aren't quick enough as he's caught with a kick to the gut followed by a shot to the back, sending him down to one knee.

Marcus is simply aiming to keep Avari off the offensive however he can without aggrevating his leg too much. With the smaller man on one knee, Marcus would look to catch him with a quick knee to the side of the head

The knee connects hard, as Avari sprawls out on the mat. The crowd have settled down a little, but start a small chant at the back of the SoFi Stadium towards Fusion.
He takes a moment to attempt to roll back on to his front side.

it's time to focus on putting this match away now. Marcus watches as Avari rolls back onto his front side and moves to stand over his head. Reaching down, he would attempt to dead lift him up in and effort to plant him with a powerbomb, a bit risky given the state of his leg but necessary

Well, it doesn't take much at this point to drag Avari up again. But as he's being lifted up he attempts to drop a knee in to the side of Marcus' head to catch him off-balance!

Marcus can't say he expected that, as a knee clocks him in the side of the head. with his knee already weak, the big man falls backwards to the mat again, an outcome that might not have been exactly the same if he'd not taken so much damage to his leg

Avari clocked the knee in to Marcus' head and felt the big man start to fall, fantastic!
What he didn't think was to try and catch himself on the way down, as he lands hard on the canvas with a thud.

Marcus makes a tactical decision here. He'd taken quite a bit of damage to his leg and there's nothing wrong with taking a breather. So, he rolls to the side and out of the ring under the bottom rope so that he can get to his feet on the outside. He's still limping, which frankly pisses him off so he takes a few steps to try to get the blood flowing normally in his leg

Avari looks up for a moment to see his opponent rolling out of the ring. The ref checks Fusion but he just nods he's okay and lifts himself up in to a push-up position, before standing up.
Watching his opponent, he makes a quick decision. He rushes at the ropes, firing himself through and attempting to suicide dive his opponent, to push him against the announcer's table!

Marcus should perhaps not have taken his eye off the ball. As he considers getting back into the ring, he turns only for Avari to hit him like a missile with a suicide dive that knocks him backwards onto the announcer's table, which JR and King quickly scramble away from because nothing good ever comes from wrestlers near the table

The ref leans over and shouts at both men to keep back inside the ring, as Avari lands on a knee. He looks at the ref and then Marcus, then back to the ref.
"Whatever you say, boss"
Fusion rolls in to the ring, but then decides to move towards the turnbuckle, climbing and perching on top. The crowd let out a major cheer as the ref urges to get down, his eyes locked on his opponent.
He throws his arms out to the side in an 'eagle' motion, shouting out at the crowd
"Is this what you want? Time to go flying?"
