Halo: Rebirth (Open and be ready to drop)

"Rain..." She said quietly, looking out the scope of the rifle, getting used to it's distance again.

The pod had finally broken through the atmosphere and was going to land in 3...2...1. It lands with the sound of a minature MAC round right... in front of.... the ship.

Back in space Sen was bobbing and weaving through a near by cluster of asteroids to avoid their unseen assaliant.

About 67 miles away from the ship on Reach Jack was driving the Warthog he'd stolen at high speeds. He had tried to call the others back at the ship over comms and had heard the pod touch down. Damn it! They better not all be dead back there.

Jumpy had fallen over, or, would have had Marcus not been carrying her. "I need my armor..." she said softly still, snuggling against him more.

The monster Pluton exited the pod and stood on the soild of Reach and it kept standing. It was staying perfectly imobile waiting for its prey to come to it.

marcus looked at jumpy saying "coming right up" as he walked towards the o.r jumpy has been operated in to get her armor tai materialized in front of him "umm marcus we have a problem you might want to look out of the window for a second" marcus then heard the sound of what could have been a MAC outside the ship marcus hurried to the cockpit to see what was going on as he got to the cockpit he saw something huge furry and apelike come out of a drop pod he looked at tai in astonishment "activate all of the ships defenses including the camo i dont want him knowing where the shots are coming from charge all weapons to maximum this thing cannot get anywhere near the city and for sure we cannot allow him to get in here jack is god knows where and jumpy isnt battle ready jet of course knowing her she wont stop unless shes atleast shooting that thing from the ships roof , which is exactly what shes going to be doing alright ill go get her tell shak'ti to get mine an jumpys armors ready and try to help him find a way of getting an entire crate of loaded sniper rifles up on the roof please" tai had been getting everything ready as marcus spoke "alright everything on its way the ship is now invisible and im going to get shak'ti on it now the weapons are activated that thing even twitches and theyll start firing now get going and get jumpy" tai now disappeared to get shak'ti marcus went back to get jumpy "umm hey darling we'll have to postpone this theres a giant monkey outside and i think shooting him from the roof will be more to your liking" he said smiling "but thats as much as you get to do youre still not 100% battle ready but dont worry there will be plently of amo and sniper rifles" he said smiling at her once more he now picked her up and headed to the roof on the way marcus called displeasure as nicely as he possibly could "could you please run a diagnostic on that thing and tell me if it has any weaknesses we can exploit ? you can get a good view from the cockpit and get tai on it as well divide and conquer"

Jumpy was just putting her helmet back on when Marcus came to get her. Hearing his plan she nodded. Displeasure agreed to his request, and started scanning the thing. Suprisingly, another A.I., one that was very old, had sent data it itself had already aquired on it out, and the data streamed through her. She quickly assessed the data, and then scanned the beast, doubling the data and confirming it to a more accurate detail, and then sent it to Marcus' and Jumpy's helmet, letting them know as much as they could. Basically, Pluton was a very very small Scarab, without the small core weakness thing.

((actually not, a Scarab is actually a giant Hunter. smile anyways, when Displeasure said that Pluton was like a small scarab, she ment that it was tough as hell to kill, if even possible to kill))

Shrukan nodded and searched the small ships for any gun turrets. Unfortunately as a transport ship it wasn't outfitted with any weapons and the warthogs they carried were chucked off the ship to make room so they couldn't even use those turrets. "negative on the fire power, we're going to have to out maneuver them. If we can get inside their compound they'll most likely stop firing at us." he suggested seeing a missle fly at them. He took out his needle riffle and after 5 missed shots he hit it causing it to explode right before it hit the ship.

Sen sighed and turned the ship around making a b-line for the inserectionist base. "You know that the minute we hit their airspace they are either going to have anti-air or we are going to need to fight a whole city so be ready."

Back on Reach the ships cannons started to fire at the monster. Instead of doing what most thinking creatures would do and freak out Pluton just stood there not even seeming to cough as it was hit with the blasts. Unfortunately when the smok cleared the beast was still very much in tact.

Jumpy was just getting set up with her sniper on the top of the ship, her camo making her blend into the invisible ship as she zoomed in. Next to her, cloaked thanks to the ship, was the only weapon that hadn't fired, a high-powered MAC cannon, that was 50X better than any UNSC MAC, and 80X smaller. it was connected to her sniper's scope, so anywhere the center of her snipers crosshair was, the MAC would shoot when she pulled the trigger. She silently thanked Displeasure for setting it up, instead of wasting a lot of sniper ammo. She was going to wait for whatever the thing was to open it's big mouth.

Pluton opened it's gaping maw. For a few seconds it just stood still again like a turkey in the rain. Of course this was before what could only be called a ball of energy shot out of its mouth and was aimed at the ship.

Jumpy fired the MAC as soon as his mouth opened, and it hit the ball of energy dead smack between the ship Pluton. She stared at the beast through her scope, as the ship's MAC prepped to fire again.

Pluton say that its attack hadn't hit the ship. It also now saw what looked like prey on the ship. So being the creature of instinct it was Pluton decided the best course of action was to leap at the offending thing.

Back in space Sen was now rapidly speeding towards the Innsergent base. All the while dodging ordanince from the attacking scout. "Alright we just need to... oh shi." A second missle had been fired from the ground and had just hit the ship. All Sen saw was blackness. Then his vision started to come back though blury. He blinked trying to move but couldn't. He felt also strangely naked. Finally his vision was able to lock on what he thought was an older human male. "Ah Mr. Qell so nice of you to join us. You know it was quite rude of you and your friends to intrude on my home. No matter though for I think you three won't be leaving for a very long time. Sen tried to do something but all he got was a cane be smashed into his face and more darkness.

(Question have I used Indigo yet? Also we now have a human villian to add to the rouges gallery so yeah. Also sorry Pdragon for getting us captured but hey now we can plan an awesome prison break.)
