Yuushirou grew up with his father in the land of fire. His father was a puppet builder but never studied the arts of puppetry. They lived within the forests of the Land of Fire because of all the natural wood his father would use to build his puppets. They would frequently travel to Sunagakure to trade the puppets for Ryo in order to buy food. Although the scenery was beautiful and his life was eventful, Yuushirou always hungered for more adventure and excitement. So one day, he asked his father to settle somewhere and so they did. Kumogakure was the preferred choice because of the family they had there. When they reached Kumogakure, they bought a house, settled down and Yuushirou went to the ninja academy so he could learn how to use the puppets his father so carefully constructed.

Everything else seems fine to me though the personal trait where he could acquire raw materials to build and repair is not fully defined to my understanding.
I'm fine with him reparing it through temporary means but it shouldn't be so efficient to replace the original's fundamentals like the ones in tankumi.
In any event if he could get the parts to his weapons and build them to be as complex or equal to that of the ones you can get in takumi, I see it as a minor problem to the system. Perhaps you can alter it?

Maemi was born in the outskirts of Kirigakure to a caravan master's wife. He was raised there and, at a young age, drilled to find one man: his older half brother Sypher Senju. He had nothing to go on except the name but was determined to find him and bring him to his father who had been searching for him for some time. Mae is not sure why his brother wasn't just raised with him but he was also taught not to ask unnecessary questions...and his father considered many questions unnecessary.
He last heard that his brother was in Cloud and so he's made his way there, searching for clues as to where the illusive big brother is.

Sakura grew up with his aunt and uncle for he lost his parents when he was a little child by an attack on his village and he was there to watch the whole thing. So his uncle and aunt took him in to their care. His uncle was a medical shinobi and one of the best in his time. Sakura wasn't doing anything with his life and was just eating everything they had so they told him to go to school to become a shinobi for his uncles sake. They lived on the outskirts of Suna and he would have to walk to school every day, and his uncle knew this, which is one of the reasons for sending him there to make him fit. Sakura loved his uncle and wanted to be just like him so he started to follow in his uncles footsteps in becoming a great medical shinobi.
